Bee Friendly Honey

Definitely 5 stars! I had a paper wasp nest in my oven fan vent. The wasps were entering my kitchen. Steven took care of my problem using non toxic spray and also put a screen in place to prevent future nests. I will definitely recommend Bee Friendly Honey!

Tried to contact them several times and never received a response... not sure why, but now the beehive has fallen on the ground and I'm trying to find someone to come help.

This review is long overdue, but our garden had a case of a yellow jackets hive, and with the garden being so close to the sidewalk, they kept swarming the general area where people pass by. I was so lucky to have come across this company after extensive Googling--which at the time only gave me companies that serviced the SF area. I sent in an inquiry to Steven on the website, received a quick response, and was able to schedule an appointment within the same week.

The whole removal process took around 1-2 hours and the yellow jackets haven't been back since. 100% recommend.

We wanted our beehive to be relocated rather than exterminated. Steven is the right person for this. I am really impressed by Steven. He worked very hard to carefully extract the queen bee and all the bees. He stayed until 2.00 AM to complete the job. He was a great professional and very knowledgeable about this subject. He cleaned everything well after he was done.

I would, without hesitation, recommend this service to anyone who is trying to relocate their beehives.

Excellent and friendly service. Saw them on Google and glad there's beekeepers nearby making a difference and relocating bees. Had a swarm of bees pop up one morning with no warning and no hive. They did not want to leave our building so the beekeeper was responsive throughout the whole time. He visited more than once to make sure all the bees were relocated. Recommended!

Majorly impressed with Bee Friendly Honey for removing a hive from my garage.

Discovered a swarm near our garage, which adjoins our neighbor's and the neighbors used Bee Friendly Honey before. Easy to schedule with Steve all online, and a week later (today) Steve comes by to take care of the hive.

Turns out the hive is in the space between the buildings and entered through the roof flashing. And it was attracted to an old abandoned hive just next to that spot!

The task involved finding the hive, removing the bees, removing both hives, painting the walls to remove the scent, sealing the entry points, and repairing the walls. It took Steve 10 hours because the space to remove the hives was only a few inches, so it was painstaking work.

He did an impeccable job, documented every step, answered every question I had, knowledge and thorough, and all for a super reasonable price. Steve is kind, patient, and super passionate about his work.

I had a honey bee swarm settle on the side of my house. In the past I had them come and leave in a few days. However, this time they stayed and were obviously getting into the house. I made an appointment with Bee Friendly Honey to remove the hive.

Steven came and, using his impressive array of tools, found the hive in a wall below a roof area. He then went about a careful and meticulous process of sealing the area (along with himself and his tools) inside the house with a containment tent, cleaning the comb and hive out, and coaxing and vacuuming (into a container so they can be added to another hive later) as many bees out as he could with smoke and a dummy queen without pesticides, which was important to me considering the declining population of bees. He painted and sealed the area on the inside and outside to prevent future hives in this area, and then repaired and retextured the sheetrock access hole.

When he left, it was as if the problem had never happened. He took responsibility for the entire project, and left nothing to be done by another specialist or contractor, all while being very considerate and unobtrusive as possible while doing heavy labor inside the house, which I really appreciated.

I was impressed by how calm, deliberate, considerate, and easy to work with Steven was.

I sincerely recommend this business to anyone who want to remove or relocate their bees. They helped to remove the bees from inside the eaves and find me a bee keeping advicer who helped me to relocate the bees to the box I bought. Very helpful and total solution for your varied needs.

I had a hive in the walls of my house and Steven did a wonderful job on all fronts. He was communicative, explained the process thoroughly, and safely removed the bees. I learned some fun facts and new vocabulary from the process.

I was prepared for some structural scarring, but I was pleasantly surprised at his workmanship repairing the walls, as well!

Not that I would want another hive in my walls, but I would absolutely love to work with Bee Friendly again. Highly recommended.

This company dud an amazing job. We had a 60,000 honey bee hive in our chimney. Steven was fantastic. Working late to remove hive and saving bees to distribute to bee keepers. Once everything was cleaned out, he sealed and closed it up. Incredibly professional. Highly recommend this company, you won't be sorry.
