Our old (32 years) Day and Night furnace was intermittent, sometimes not heating our house at all. When it did heat the house it took about 10 minutes for the flame to come on.

We contacted Bell Brothers and was able to get Ron, Bell Brothers Plumbing
service manager, to come out and repair our furnace. Because of Ron's
30 years of experience, and 100 percent knowledge, he knew what parts to bring with him, and had a good idea what the problem was before he came here

Ron was very friendly, professional, and isolated the problem to the three wire pilot heat sensor switch. He cleaned the burners in our furnace, and replaced the defective part. He also checked the furnace to make certain it was safe, and operating properly.

Our furnace now works better than it has for many years. The furnace flame now comes on in seconds, and heats our home very well.

We are very appreciative for Ron and Bell Brothers Plumbing for solving our furnace/heating problem.

A very helpful plumber arrived when we requested service to clear a drain. I would highly recommend and will use Bell Brothers again if we have future plumbing issues.

Will not provide furnace or ac annual inspections on a system not installed by them that is less than 5 years old.

Asked $5,000 to change out 70 gallon gas water heater with haul away. People, check your comps. These people are ridiculous.

I had to have a service call today because our air conditioner was not working. The technician who came out was Kevin Zych. Kevin assessed the problem which turned out to be a blown fuse at the main control board. He replaced the contactor and the air conditioner is working fine.

The second reason for this review was that we had a horrible experience with one of Bell Bros. sales reps to weeks prior. A technician came out to do an inspection of our air condition unit. He said everything was fine but we needed insulation in the attic and he could get a sales rep to come out for a quote right away. We agreed. He came a few hours later and proceeded to tell us that the insulation was low and had previous rats that left droppings. The quote was for removing old insulation, disinfecting and install of new insulation. The quote was outrageous but we didn't know any better being seniors! We signed the contract. After the rep left, I called my son and he said cancel right away that we were definitely taken advantage of.

I called Bell Bros. and was told that I had to send them an e-mail cancelling the contract and to write a letter to the finance company to cancel as well. That was done and we are "DONE" with Bell Brother's! I proceeded to get three quotes from different companies and all three quotes were half the price of Bell Brother's. The three companies said we just needed to top it off as far as insulation not the complete job!!!

Getting back to the call today for fixing our air conditioner, we had to pay $290.00 for the part that had to be replaced. Kevin Zych tried to help us get the charge reduced or possibly removed but his manager would not agree. Kevin was very professional, knowledgeable and understanding when it comes to his job. Bell Brother's, you have lost a long time customer who has given you quite a bit of business over 10 years. SHAME ON YOU!

Excellent service and employees. We recently had out entire heating system circa 1972 (yes, 1972) updated by Bell Brothers and we couldn't be happier. We are a family with four small children ages 1-6 years old, and we now have a safe and efficient heating system, and well... a warm house.

Having recently purchased this old house, we knew that we would inevitably have to replace our furnace. So when it stopped working a few weeks ago, we thought we could hire Bell Brothers (who came highly recommended by my father-in-law who at 75 years old had knowledge of this good company for years and years) to simply light the pilot light. Our service tech Ruben came out and knew everything about our relic furnace, and did exactly what we asked and relit the pilot. Not pushy with sales at at all, which we really appreciated, he pointed out that there was ASBESTOS TAPE in plain view! Yes, ASBESTOS. In. Our. Hallway. We asked for his advice on everything, and he pointed out all the options available to us from simply removing/replacing the cancer-causing tape, to renovating our entire heating system and ductwork. As we made it clear we didn't have the funds for a major renovation, he was very considerate and logical explaining how projects could be broken down in matter of importance as far as what we needed/wanted done. We learned that our ducts had no insulation, our entire house had no insulation, our 1972 heater was simply turning on full blast and energy was being wasted on heating the old sheet metal ducts as well as going out of the house with no insulation. Basically, our $450 montly PG&E bill and freezing house was starting to make sense. He made a call and within an hour, Jonathan came by to explain the options in detail.

Jonathan was the best salesperson we could have asked for. He was polite, professional, and seemed to really care about our budget and needs. He explained every option of what we could/should replace, and every option of pricing for said service/product. That morning, we went from wanting to only spending money on lighting the pilot, to happily purchasing a new furnace, new ducts, insulation in our attic, and an AC coil for the future if/when we (or or future homeowners of this house) decide to get AC. We learned that Bell Brothers had financing which is really what made this possible for us. Jonathan connected us with a asbestos removal company, ERI, and Bell Brothers and ERI worked together seamlessly so we could get our project complete.

Within a few days, ERI came out and safely cleared away the asbestos, and Bell Brothers started their work the next day! The installation dream team consisted of Noemi, Abe, and Mojen, and they were amazing! They were professional and friendly, and worked nonstop to get the job done over the course of two days. As a family with littles, we worked from home and were in and out of the house with the kids, but that didn't stop the team from getting the work done, and they were actually really awesome with our kids saying hello and making small talk with them. It was exciting for us as a family to watch them work and have been so lucky to have friendly yet efficient team.

Lastly, the insulation team was really great and got their job done in 1-2 hours!! By the end of day two, our house was insulated and effectively heated. The Bell Brothers installation team swept up every bit of debris from their work, and after everyone left, it was as if nobody had even been there in regard to things being clean and organized.

In a nutshell, what used to take hours of the heater running only to have the house cold immediately after the heater was shut off, we can now run our heater for 5-10 minutes (yes, 5-10 minutes) and have a warm house for the entire night. We called Bell Brothers on a Thursday morning about the pilot light, and by Thursday afternoon the following week we had an entirely new heating system that we couldn't be happier with. We highly recommend Bell Brothers for your HVAC needs, and we look forward to calling them in the near future for AC! Thanks, BB for everything.

We called out Bell Brothers for a drain problem , upon getting here he said we didn't have a clean out and would charge us 500.00 each for lifting toilets to vgetdown drain ,we declined ,I told him I had

For many years I have lifted toilets and only takes Abt 20 mln per toilet, I feel a thousand dollars for less than 30 mins of work,is stupid I'm 85 years old with COPD but we pulled toilets and used my augar had it cleaned it in no time
We won't be calling Bell Brothers again

After describing the work needed to Damon, he stated the job would cost $87 total. It involved snaking a drain pipe through the clean out pipe through an access panel in the ceiling in the garage. He assured me it would cost $87 total.
When the technician arrived, he looked at the pee trap next to the clean out and said it would cost more. I suspected this was a bait and switch on the cost stated so I said don't bother and he left. I contacted Damon who informed me that the tech stated the pee trap needed to be removed. I then sent Damon a picture of the pee trap and the clean out next to the pee trap and have not heard back from him since yesterday.

Be warned.
Installed a new HVAC in 2021 for thousands of dollars (less than 3 years ago)and already not working . What worse- Refuses to come and serve the HVAC they installed saying they not longer serve Santa Clara anymore .Funny thing ..because that is after they scheduled a service for the same morning but then the supervisor canceled it saying "they don't serve Santa Clara". I have a email scheduling a service to Santa Clara from that morning.
I guess they just take money from Santa Clara ....but they are not responsible or serving what they installed .

I want to say thank you to the person who called me and let me know about rhe update. There was a clear miscommunication about the pricing and the company reviewed the calls, and informed me that I was indeed not informed bout the fee.

I appreciate their ethics in looking into this.
