Q:
Has there recently been a change in ownership? Quality is still great, just curious about the new faces.
A:
The business is still family owned and has not changed ownership. Ben will now only be working 1-2 days a week. Customers will begin to see other members of the family helping out with the business, but what will remain the same is the high quality… more

Burgers have absolutely no pazazz! Too bland. Ordered a LARGE fries... I got what lookeded like SMALL fries. Burger had no flavor...no pickles. Service was cool...the old man was so blah. No dining. Order p/u shop. Mom n pop. I feel like a got robbed. I've been to a hospital cafe in the city....5k stars way better!! Will never go to this place again.

Did not know what to expect. Initially, we wanted to go to In n Out but decided to give this burger joint a try since it's near us. It did not disappoint. I feel it's underrated. The fries and onion rings were good too. We tried the giant burger and the junior burger, which was't a juinior size because it was big too. We spent $35 for two giant burgers, two junior burgers, onion rings and french fries. If we went to In n Out, we'd spend more than that.

The food is delicious; however, they're prices have went up I spent 17$ on a bacon cheese burger fries and drink. I love the food and will keep coming back but it may not be as often as I would like to due to the price increase. The added bonus is there is this cute young Asian guy that works there sometimes during the day lol.

This is not the best burger that you'll ever have, but it's the best burger in Bay Point. Unpretentious and with a simple menu, everything is cooked to order. Bunch of hard-working folks with friendly service. Reminds me of Cecil's in Hayward and Smokehouse BBQ on the Oakland/Berkeley border. I usually got a double cheeseburger and small fries when I was working down the street from this place.
As others have said, it's cash only.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Shelonda G.Sacramento, CA0141Mar 25, 2024
Hella good, reminds me of the Ben's in Oakland and they aren't related. I go to this burger spot for burgers over Nations any day

Been going to this place since I was 3. Food has always been great, people working there are just as great. Bacon Cheeseburger has always been a choice for me, though everything is just as good. Give it a try!

The first thing I wanna mention about this establishment is that they're cash only. I learned the hard way but im glad I eventually got around to eating here after work. Located on willow pass near Bailey road in West Pittsburg/bay point. The thing I appreciated most about this place is the nostalgic feel to it. I can tell they've been around for decades, almost like a time capsule to the 80s. I didnt get a chance to converse with the staff but from the feel of things, the couple working inside are the owners. Very polite, friendly and you get a sense of genuine appreciation for your business. Even the day I showed up without cash they seemed understanding and nice about it instead of being rude cause I canceled my order.
Down to the food.. most burgers are good unless you go out your way to make them bad in my opinion. This place makes a pretty good burger. I recommend the double as its a good amount of meat to bread ratio. The price makes sense too, you're not gonna feel robbed eating here. Very affordable especially for the quality, good value. The fries are surprisingly a highlight. I don't know what it was about them but me and the crew felt the need to individually say "man, those were some good fries" afterwards..lol.
The only thing I'd say I didn't enjoy about this place aside from the cash only aspect is the choice of ketchup packets. Some of the best places go cheap with their condiments and there's was really sweet, reminded me of apple sauce. Luckily I keep ketchup in my work truck but you might not have the same issue. Just a heads up, maybe take it home if you're local and use your own preferred condiments.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
