I needed dry ice in a pinch, and Ben's Dry Ice went above and beyond!

Kevin (owner) provided fantastic service - he was extremely responsive, graciously provided clear recommendations, answered all my questions, and was flexible to quickly deliver everything I needed.

As for the dry ice? I was able to overnight ship frozen items and they not only remained frozen, but were rock solid on arrival. A real testament to the quality and reliability of their products.

If you need dry ice, look no further - they'll now be my go-to!

My company hosted a Halloween Party complete with gurgling Blood Punch and a Witches Brew. I contacted Ben's Dry Ice on the Wednesday before Halloween hoping they could squeeze in a delivery on Monday the 31st. They went out of their way to provide heaps of great info and worked us in to their Monday morning schedule, which I'm sure was no small feat given that it was the big day itself! The next time I need dry ice, I know I'll be giving Ben a call!

I manage a small professional dance company, MFDPSF. We need dry ice fog for our Nutcracker each year.

Ben's Dry Ice is a dream to work with. They focus on the customer, and provide fantastic customer care (not just service)

In December 2018 for the second weekend of our show, I had forgotten to book the order in advance. Kevin knew I needed the dry ice, and delivered on Friday to the theater, so I had it on Saturday for our performance.

Kevin saved the show for us. I can't think of very many companies that have this attention to customer needs.

      Thank you, Ben's Dry Ice.

Super awesome customer service TEAM, answered lots of questions, followed through on exactly what they said they were going to do, etc, etc, and during a busy holiday.

WRT price and the one bad review, you're better off to just getting 100 pounds up front if you're thinking maybe in the 50 lb range and aren't sure. I had trouble reaching other businesses and thought the price was fine.

I ran a kitchen at burning man and fed well over 1000 people. One of the things I had forgotten about during all my planning was making sure I had dry ice to keep all the coolers at the proper temperature for the 7+ days. I put in a order with Ben's Dry Ice but was so late on the order that there were no delivery times when I needed it. I guess it is helpful to get large orders in earlier than a couple days before you need it!

After chatting back and forth several times, they managed to pull off a miracle and make it work. My dry ice was dropped off for me at my place so I didn't have to worry about tracking down another source. It really made my day and made everything easier on me. I encourage everyone to support them in the future.

      Excellent Service!

Had an emergency due to a power surge which blew out my refrigerator control panels. Contacted Ben's Dry Ice late in the afternoon on Good Friday. The owner responded immediately and delivered dry ice by 5pm that afternoon!! Thanks to the dry ice my freezer items remained frozen until the refrigerator was repaired four days later.

      Many thanks!

Really amazing service, attention to detail and concern for us as we transported frozen breast milk using the dry ice. They even turned the car around and came back to our house to drop off more ice when they found out we had underestimated our needs. Here's the email I sent them to say thanks:

Meg, we just wanted to say thanks so much for your help - it was truly exceptional. Your advice was spot-on and the concern you showed really helped us safely transport 6 months worth of breast milk for our 9 month old daughter. It arrived safely frozen last night.

Ben's Dry Ice helped me finally get rid of those pesky little flour mites in my kitchen. I had tried everything: I threw away all the food that was in the cabinet, did a thorough cleaning with orange oil, and left the cabinet empty for weeks. But still, every few days I would find them in there again, and then I started to see some really tiny ones, like they just hatched from eggs. I would keep cleaning them, and they would keep coming back. This went on for weeks. I think they were inside the particle board of the cabinet itself, where I could never reach them.

I did some Googling to find out more about these nasty little bugs. They're really tiny, maybe half a millimeter or about the size of a grain of sugar. They're a really common pest in flour, and they usually get into your home in a bag of contaminated flour. There are some web pages that list specific pesticides that will kill them, but I didn't want to use pesticides in my kitchen. Some sites recommend using orange oil as a safe alternative to pesticides, but that didn't work. Then I found some online sites that recommend you freeze a new bag of flour before you put it into your kitchen cabinets. Aha! Maybe I could freeze the little buggers right where they were hiding in my cabinet.

I contacted the guys at Ben's Dry Ice and they really worked with me to solve my problem. They sell blocks of dry ice that are 10 inches square. I put these blocks on the shelves in my cabinet, and covered them with a towel so they'd last longer. At room temperature like this, the blocks would last about 24 hours. I kept this going for four days (which is how long the web pages said to freeze a bag of flour). It has now been two weeks, and I haven't seen a bug since. I have reclaimed my kitchen!

One tip: the dry ice evaporates directly into the air without melting into a liquid, so there was no mess from the dry ice itself. However, the cabinets got so cold that moisture from the kitchen air would condense on the cabinets (like when you have a glass of cold soda). So I ended up covering the outside of the cabinets with saran wrap so the condensation would form on the wrap instead of the cabinets. This worked great.

I am so happy that the guys at Ben's Dry Ice helped me safely get rid of these pests that plagued me for so long. I would strongly recommend these guys if your home is ever invaded by those pesky flour mites.

This business is SUPER responsive, personal and flexible. Their customer service is over the top amazing. I am a home funeral guide - I help families who want to care for their loved ones at home instead of using a mortuary (yes, it's safe and legal). We use dry ice to keep the body cold when a family wants more than 24 hrs to honor and grieve. Ben's had never been involved in this work but were kind, respectful and supportive as well as practical. I've used dry ice a lot but I still learned from them.

Call Ben's! Let's keep small businesses like this busy and successful!

What care and customer service! I don't yelp at all but felt the need to express how sincere and caring this company was to my needs. Ben and Meg were amazing with helping me to figure out how to ship a freezer full of breast milk. Thank you, thank you!!
