The service at this place is amazing, from the person checking you in at the top parking lot, to getting you squared away down at the gas dock.

Instructions were provided concisely in an easy to understand format for new drivers. We rented a Chaparral for 4 hours on Labor Day and it couldn't have gone smoother. The boat was in excellent condition and everyone had a great time. Gas came out to about $57, keeping in mind we had 5 adults, lots of food, and towed a tube during our rental period. Definitely recommend Berryessa Water Sports and will see them again soon!

Imagine that you and your family have planned a whole day at the Lake with some close friends for almost a year. Then imagine arriving to be informed that you rented a boat that DOES NOT EXIST. This was our most recent experience with Lake Berryessa Watersports. Instead, we were told about this error when we arrived and then told that we would instead only be able to rent a pontoon boat for 1/2 day versus the ski boat that we had rented for a full day. Our entire party including 4 children were extremely disappointed, but tried to make the best of the situation. It's been almost two weeks now since this has happened and we are still waiting and calling to get a refund for AT LEAST the half day that we were not able to rent. We have been coming to Lake Berryessa and renting from Berryessa Watersports for many years and have had great experiences in the past. However, I would highly caution anyone with a "reservation" to DOUBLE CHECK before arriving to ensure you have a reservation. Otherwise, you may end up in a headache like us trying to get funds returned for services that were simply not rendered. To Berryessa Watersports - mistakes happen, but communication and a fast resolution for a mistake could make the situation better and help you to retain customers. We will be highly cautious in using this company in the future.

I'm not the one to write bad reviews but this one is needed.
Me and my family rented a chaparral boat the day before Father's Day. We paid $950 for the boat + $75 gas + $50 for a tube. To start off the tube ripped right when we put it in the water.... Very unsafe. Also, they didn't give life jackets size xs, s or M. They gave us XXL and universal but that wouldn't fit me. The worst thing in my opinion was that there was ONLY one speaker that worked in the boat.... Which didn't last very long (we were without music for half the trip). I do not recommend renting boats here. First and last time.

This place is awesome, the staff are super chill and welcoming. There's a variety of boat and kayaking options with different prices. The cheapest boat we saw was about $200 for a max of 4-8 people (depending on the boat) for 2 hours. Hours can range from 2-5. Same with kayaking, you have the option of solo, duo kayaking or paddle boarding. Prices starting as low as $35 for 2 hours. It was kind of windy the further out we went but if it were hotter definitely would've stopped somewhere to swim. There's a few picnic tables around and bathrooms. Definitely coming back here in the summer!

We had the most amazing experience! The online booking was easy to navigate and the staff is fun and accommodating. The boat was in perfect condition and the lake is just stunning. We can't wait to rent from them again!

I can not say enough great things about this place. First of all, they have much better prices then any of the other boat rentals in the area. We rented a pontoon for the day and the boat was in great shape. Very clean and well taken care of. The dock itself was like no other boat rental dock that I have seen, very clean and organized. The people were great, everyone was friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of carts to transport our personal items from the car to the boat. We got there early to and were able to take the boat out earlier then our reservation for no extra cost.
The deposit was returned to my bank within an hour of returning the boat. Until I have room to keep a boat for myself I will continue to return.

Berryessa Water Sports is an outstanding business on Lake Berryessa located at Markley Cove Resort. This place can take care of all your water recreation needs! Whether you want to go wakeboarding, wake surfing, fishing, or just take a leisurely cruise on the lake with your family and friends, they've got you covered. I think it's their "can do" attitude that impresses me the most. If it's possible, Berryessa Water Sports with make it happen. From the ownership, to the management, to the dock staff, it's top quality individuals at every turn. Personally, I belong to their boat club, which is amazing. My family has set a goal of boating forty days this summer. We've done it before, and we'll do it again, so hopefully we'll see you out there! Don't forget to tip the dock staff after a great day on the lake. Enjoy!

We are boat club members and a huge shoutout to all of the dock staff, they are always smiling and go out of their way to meet our needs. Jake and Terry are always on top of the reservations and are prompt when we need changes. This group has made our day many times in 3 years!!

Amazing experience renting a pontoon!! Super nice and professional employees and a gorgeous new boat made it a wonderful time for our family. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a water recreational vehicle! Thank you for a fun time BWS!
