      For the second time in a couple years, staff at a BestBuy went above and beyond. This time it was BB Colma, CA; last year it was BB Evanston, IL. At Colma they rescued me from my own error when I recycled a monitor that turned out to be they wrong one - I went back the next day and they did a search and happily found it, although it was close because they had already wrapped a couple pallets of electronics for pickup. In Chicago, my sister bought a deeply discounted refrigerator but 6 months later had lost the manual; unfortunately that model had been discontinued and did not appear online. They searched and found a "sister" model and printed the manual for me.

      I would definitely consider buying from BB, especially larger dollar items where service and support might be particularly important. And I don't own stock and am not related to anybody working at BB!

      Mom wanted to go to Best Buy last night, July 16, 2024, to purchase a keyboard for her computer, so we went along since we are in the market for a mini fridge and computers. For a minute, I forgot that they closed the San Bruno location, inadvertently telling her that they are practically down the street from us at first. Good thing that this locale in Colma is still just minutes away from our house.

      We arrived a few minutes before 7 PM and easily found a space in the private parking lot. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by an attendant with a warm "Hello." The venue was brightly lit and appeared tidy. To my pleasant surprise, even the women's restroom looked clean for the most part, too.

      I walked straight to the Appliance department and found only one mini fridge on the floor. The area was empty of salespersons, so I returned to the front to ask for help. They were understaffed, so there were lines and wait times to get help everywhere. I was told that what I saw was all that they had. I expressed my confusion over the website indicating that several other mini refrigerators were available to pick up. This is when I learned that all of the others were in the warehouse, but boxed in their original packaging and not available for viewing. Seriously?? Who wants to blindly purchase an appliance without checking it out in person first? Not me. The sole fridge on the floor, priced at $299, was a good value, especially for its size, but I was not going to jump on it, knowing that there are so many more options available that offer other features. Apparently, this has been their set up for at least the past twelve years. Wow. I was ready to purchase a small fridge, but Best Buy lost my business.

      V also could not find any PCs with more than 32 gigabytes. He did not want to join the line to inquire, especially after hearing that wait times had been as long as an hour.

      Mom got what she came for. We were done and out by 7:45ish. Maybe we will return to check out their televisions?

      Once again - we are here, returning ROKU that does not work. In YouTube it shuts down after 10 mins. Ugh. Yes we checked our connections...

      The service has really changed it is so hard to find an associate that is really able to help and be patient. They have great selection. The prices are ok Sometimes if you look at the newspaper or store ads you could find comparable or better deals.

      Terrible , terrible , TERRIBLE customer service !!! Do not come here and deal with their employees. They make it seem like it's the customers fault and will make you look like an idiot.!

      Honestly this use to be my favorite Best Buy to come to, the service use to be great. Unfortunately that has changed. My recent visit i went to get 2 Apple TV's and there was no one around to help after 30 mins i finally found someone and they gave me a weird look as i asked and they didn't even stop to help they just walked passed me and said "yea ok"...so i wanted another 20 mins and nothing so i walked out and just went to a Apple Store which the closest one was Hillsdale which i got helped as soon as i stepped foot in there and left with both Apple TVs within 10 mins. Colma Best Buy can get better again with better staffing but right now the staff is a joke.

      We had bought a Samsung Bespoke refrigerator. We were having problems with the delivery of the custom panels. We were on the phone for hours with their call center and still did not have a clear explanation as to why our order was delayed. We had no choice but to go to a local store and file a complaint. Abraham, the store manager, was a savior. He found open box panels which saved us some money. We installed the panels ourselves that night. Abraham, thank you so much for your help. Glad to know there's still great customer service out there.

      I came here to buy a chromebook. Not a single person offered to help me. There seemed to be only one person working the floor and she was at the cash register helping another customer. But that's not why I walked out.
      I walked out because it was 85 degrees in there. I HAD to get out of that oven. I probably will never go back.

      Five blue shirts and one yellow shirt playing grab ass in front of the entrance = no help on the sales floor.

      On the way out I was asking for assistance to locate a wifi extender and he looked at me with a blank face and said I'm on the phone.

      Maybe it's better to buy it online.

      Steven in the camera section was incredibly helpful and informative.

      I started with a few questions and requests in camera gear, went to ssd questions and finished with some questions regarding the right gaming setup for a pretty fun little gift idea I'm working on.

      He helped me understand the pros and cons of PS over XBox and even helped me understand PC builds to figure out the right platform.

      We went in to discussing steering wheel setups and which one work best for the gift.

      He was knowledgeable, helpful, enthusiastic and willing to go above and beyond to help me get the right setup.

      Way impressed and Steven absolutely deserves to be recognized for his efforts and dedication to BestBuy in Colma.
