Best LA Movers

Three years ago I had Best LA movers move me. I also stored my belongings at their storage units.
I cannot say enough about the customer service. They have gone beyond and above my wildest expectations. I stored my things with them for three years and when I went to move my stuff it looked as if everything had come right out of my house. Everything was packed to perfection and completely protected.
Sam, the owner, is very professional so nice. His storage units are meticulously clean and beautiful. I would never store my belongings anywhere else. I still store with them and will continue to do so! Thank You Sam!

My daughter first moved with them and had a great experience. Then I had to move inter-city into a very picky condo--& Best LA were terrific. Again. EVERYTHING was blanketed and shrink wrapped. They were so patient as I tried to get things placed. Because they charge by the hour, not by distance or weight, it was so much less stressful. There was no damage. I've moved at least ten times-- and stuff always arrives broken or cracked. They were efficient and friendly and respectful. Took ALL the stress out of moving!

Sam and his moving personnel were a pleasure to interact with and massively helpful to me given my unusual moving situation. My home was flooded and I had to abruptly move out. It was a nightmare of a situation, and I had to use whatever moving company was available immediately to move out so that demolition work and water mitigation could begin. Best LA Movers was available on very short notice, packed every single item carefully (nothing they could do about the stuff already damaged by the flood), and relocated it to a storage locker.

Sam was so incredibly courteous to me during this time, ensuring I could locate what I needed out of the locker everything was abruptly moved to, and ensuring I could utilize them later to move stuff back when home repairs were completed. Sam and his team were so kind as to even place things they knew I'd likely want in the short term from my flooded home near the front of my storage locker so I could pull them out and use them. For example, I found my videogames and various other sports gear (surfboards, wetsuits, ski gear) placed in the most accessible part of the locker.

8 months later when it was time to move back, I had another positive experience with Sam and his company, that very courteously moved things back in and working around some confusion (on part of an unrelated contractor company that was doing some work at the same time as the move) to ensure things went smoothly.

I could not recommend this company highly enough. I found the rates reasonable. Yes, it costs money to get a reputable moving company on very short notice and have them put in extra time to pack everything given my unusual moveout circumstances, but I found those costs reasonable. I will remember their kindness and flexibility and patience with me in the insane circumstances I had to use their services.

I can't say enough about Sam and his crew! They were amazing! They were quick, yet careful, wrapping everything expertly. We expected packing one day and moving the next, but they were so efficient, we were moved the same day! Sam was so friendly and helpful. I have moved many times in my adult life and these guys are by far the very best! Professional. Courteous. Efficient. Reasonable pricing. What more can you ask for? If you're planning to move, call Sam. He's outstanding!

They are the BEST! We moved recently and I thought it would be such a hassle but with Best La Movers company it was a great experience. They are professional and would highly recommend! They handle the move from A-Z! I was very impressed with them and their process! They even brought me and my husband a champagne bottle when we moved into our new home! The best moving company I have ever worked with!

I have used this company five times over the last six years and I have always been impressed with their professionalism, timeliness and pricing. Sam is a super nice, fair guy and I will trust him for my next move too! They wrap everything up so nicely and make sure that furniture is protected.

I am an active yelper and always post my experiences whether they are good or bad. Yelp helps me to choose vendors all the time. So I hope you will believe me when I tell you that this company will give you a great moving experience :)

They canceled on me 5 days before my move with NO SOLID EXPLANATION other than "we aren't on the same page." I was told so many good things about this company, and then after actually signing up to use them, it was a complete NIGHTMARE!! I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Expect nothing to be told to you on the front end. You will find out many details AFTER THE FACT. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

UPDATE AFTER COMMENT: I emailed them to confirm my appointment was canceled so I wouldn't be charged since I figured if they would cancel 5 days before that, they might charge me for a no-show too (HINT: Shady folks). It was 100% their rep who told me, "We are not on the same page, so this will not work. I am canceling your appointment" NOT TO MENTION, he started telling me it would be "too expensive." So I will admit I disagreed with their plan but only because they CHANGED the plan a week before my move. Lastly, there was NO MENTION of it being a 2-day move when I signed up. Then last week, I was told it could be a 2-day move, but if we left before 11am, it would be done the same day. Don't tell customers one thing and then backtrack on it.

My advice to everyone is that you PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION!!!

I can't recommend Best LA movers highly enough! They helped with multiple moves including from a storage unit with a broken elevator! Cheerful, hardworking and very pleasant to deal with. Would absolutely use them again.

If I could give a 10/5 rating, I absolutely would. I had called another moving service to move my piano, confirmed time, and they never showed and wouldn't answer my calls. My piano was sitting in a parking lot all night, because of them. I called Best LA Movers, that night, and they set up a time for the next morning with such great customer service, I knew I could trust them. They arrived on time, smiling and laughing the entire time they pushed my spinet piano up a large flight of stairs. Not once did they complain. They were kind, courteous, and made me feel welcome into the community. Not to mention, they are helping me get piano students!
I would recommend them to anybody and everybody, for their moving needs.

These guys are true professionals. They wrap every piece of furniture and they do it quickly; minding your time and budget.

The owner was there personally to oversee everything, which went very smooth. They did not scratch one wall in either places.

Ive used 3 moving companies and will only use Sam and his team from now on. I highly recommend this company.
