After almost 2 months, he still hasn't had his abandoned car towed away from a private lot in which he illegally left it, even though he could earn $$ from Copart, Pick & Pull, or other salvage companies. I would not trust him!

Gary was on time and completed the job to my satisfaction. I appreciate his service and will call on him for future repairs.

Gary helped me with a sliding glass shower door installation. Gary does good work, is knowledgeable, works fast, charges reasonably. Satisfied customer.

Gary Bester is an incompetent and irrational person with no skills what so ever.

We called Gary Bester after a clerk at the local hardware store recommended him to my wife. I called him and hired him to to staple two wires coming down from the 3rd to 2nd floor of our stairway. He charged me $120 for stapling one wire and then taped the second wire. I did not inspect the work and assumed that it was an easy job which did not need inspection. Big Mistake! The tapes came off about 2 hours after he left.

I called him and asked him to come over and fix the problem. He grudgingly said that he would be in the city and he can fix the problem. Needless to say that he did not show up and 4 days later I called and left him a message. He called me a couple of hours later and said he would not fix the mess he had created and he called me f... crazy.

I am going back to the hardware store and will talk to the clerk that recommended him so other would not fall in the same trap.

Gary has fixed many things in my house, including a plumbing job that a plumber botched. He's fixed my roof, and changed doors that have been squeeking and sticking for a long time. He's always knowledgable, friendly and he works fast. Today he came over and re-assembled a stand desk (with a motor) that wasn't working after someone else put it together. I highly recommend him for everything! Oh yes, and he's reasonable...

Gary Bester / Complete Handyman Services started out with a plumbing leak project fine, but he dropped two screws into the disposal which required me to replace the disposal at my expense within a couple of weeks. Started a painting project, but everything else went downhill soon after., project not finished. A repaired drawer and door removed during painting fell apart soon after they were "repaired". Did not provide invoices upon multiple requests, did not provide original receipts for purchased items and materials upon request. In follow up to see when projects were going to be finished, he did not return phone calls, emails or texts except for leaving one unintelligible voice mail at 12:30 AM one morning. I sent a certified letter to his address 11-25-2017 which was returned "unclaimed, unable to forward" on 1-9-2018. I checked with the hardware store that recommended him, and they said he vanished two months earlier. He is disorganized, and has problems completing projects and providing invoices and receipts. Caveat emptor!
