Due to a challenging phase in life, I was forced to store many important personal items (belonging to my family and myself) at Big Box storage.
During this time I encountered further personal difficulties so I'm extremely grateful for the assistance & accommodations Big Box storage staff, notably Jeff the Operations Manager, provided me with. I'm eternally grateful to Big Box for their kindness, compassion & understanding of my complex situation. I highly recommend Big Box's services for providing me with a great professional experience from beginning to end!

I do not recommend Big Box Storage!!! They are over priced and not accommodating. When we first started with them, they explained to us how easy everything was, all you have to do is call and let them know you're coming. You go through your stuff, and if you decide you don't want something, the dumpster is right there to use so you don't have to take it back with you. Simple right? Wrong! When you go to see your storage, you find out the truth! To go into your storage area you have to make an appointment. You need to give them two hours notice. If you don't show up for your appointment or you're LATE they charge you, they also tell you that if you put anything in the dumpster it's a $150 charge. When you tell them that is not what you were told when you started using them they give you this speach about how they have a new owner and things have changed. Which I would have believed except the lady sitting at the counter kept smiling and giggling letting you know it was a line of bs that they tell everyone. I found them to be rude and over priced. We are moving our stuff to Extra Space Storage, prices are more reasonable and workers are pleasant to deal with.

I highly recommend Big Box storage. I needed my box delivered to my home urgently and even though they ask for at least one week notice Nayaly, was able to squeeze me in last minute. I am beyond grateful. I will be using them again in the future.

Highly recommend. Reasonable prices with an easy process. I had a unit for 7 years while I lived in a high rise and needed extra storage. The process is simple and it was easy to get the box delivered for packing. I also had easy access to the box thereafter. When I closed out, Dan delivered my box and was friendly, professional and helpful. It's such a simple process. The facility is temperature controlled and my belongings stayed in good condition. When you access the box they pull it out of the warehouse and you load/unload in their parking lot. Their auto pay system is super easy too. I was very satisfied and would use them again if I need the storage again.

If your home needs fumigation, and if you're like me, dreading to package groceries in flimsy plastic bags, FEAR NOT.
We have discovered BIG BOX STORAGE that you can rent by days, or as long as you need, and delivered to your door. We just tossed pantry items and groceries in the box, and voila, stress free.
And, just in case you don't know, if you have grocery food that even though they are brand new, but packed in paper or plastic, not in cans or glass, they can be contaminated, therefore, must be placed in the bags provided by the fumigation company. And, having a BIG BOX, we did not have to do that, saving us at least $600 because the fumigation company will charge $30 a bag if they have to bag your items for you.

We paid for storage over 4 years..with a cost of over $20,000. When our movers came to remove the storage items, I asked for water for them, and Jeremy had the nerve to charge me $3 and asked if I wanted that amount to be included to my account. Rude service from Jeremy, very unhelpful, and zero customer service skills.

I think I like them although to me the process was a bit.. complex...
1. You HAVE to talk to them on the phone like we live in the seventies.
2. The dimensions on the site seems to be the OUTSIDE dimensions. My box was 8 x 6.5 x 4.9 or so on the inside (Approximately, the 8 was more like 7 feet 14 inches). So.. a bit annoying, expected more. Who cares about outside dimensions when you're storing stuff...
3. Once you sign up, they hit you with a... delivery fee... Not cool. Be upfront about it guys, the bait-and-switch is out of fashion. At least there's no pick-up fee as far as the sales person told me.
4. I said I wanted it for a month, the sales contract said 1.5 month, so I had to call again to change it to avoid another month of fees. Pay attention folks.
The box itself seems fine, looks waterproof, was delivered early, and all things considered the price is not horrible. Their sales agents were fine and got my issues fixed.
So... if you pay attention to all this, it should be fine... but I shouldn't HAVE to pay attention, should I BigBox.

We appreciate your business and we're glad to hear that you found the Big Box to be of good quality and that our sales agents were able to assist you with your concerns. While we aim to provide a hassle-free experience for our customers, it’s clear that we fell short of your expectations in certain areas – our apologies.
While customers have the ability to schedule delivery via our site (as you initially did), doing so does require a confirmation call. Although it would certainly be easier for everyone to do away with the confirmation call, we’ve left it intact as we’ve found it greatly helps to minimize any potential remaining questions. We do realize and understand that not everyone is a fan of such calls though.
You are correct that 8’ x 5’ x 7’ are the exterior dimensions, however we do inform customers of this. If you re-visit our site, you’ll find that each mention of the dimensions is also accompanied by a reference to external. We refer to the site because that is where you initially scheduled your delivery. The dimensions weren’t further discussed during your confirmation call. We tend to focus more on the exterior over interior because customers are often faced with having to place the Big Box in a space-limited area at their home (e.g. garage, carport, parking space, fitting between a gate). However, we’ll be making a recap of the dimensions a welcome addition to the confirmation call.
Regarding the $99 initial delivery fee, the fee was presented during the online scheduling process and also recapped during the confirmation call (per the recording). Additionally, it was also noted in the confirmation email that was sent to you. Although we do waive the fee for customers that are staying with us for at least three months, you selected the one-month minimum term. If you wish to change to a three-month minimum term at this time, we would be happy to waive the $99 for you. Please let us know.
While we do feel that we’re transparent with our fees and services, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you any potential for our improvement. We value your business and look forward to serving you better in the future. Thank you Anders.

2 boxes reserved online, delivered as promised. The drop off and pickup driver (may have been the same person). Very professional, gave us advance notice. We marked on the driveway where we'd like them. He placed them perfectly!
