Big Dogs

Dee-licious! I am always on the look out for new street carts, and the hot dog hats worn by employees called to me. I had a halibut dog, a sausage made with fresh, wild fish. I was really impressed with the price (7 dollars including a pop) and the choice of toppings and bun - potato or whole wheat.

I went with the potato bun, and added pickles, fried onions and Franks to the tartar sauce, coleslaw and lemon wedge that the halibut comes standard with.

In addition to the halibut, they serve up salmon, lamb, turkey and buffalo, as well as a variety of premium toppings.

The service, quality and flavour were really impressive - I will be back for a veggie dogs smothered in jalapeno and cheese the next time a 'dog craving hits!

My taste buds were smacking a few days ago so i decided i wanted a dog. It was a toss up between the hot dog vendor down the road that looked all fancy pantsy or a flash of my life to the guilt of i should of chose organic. So I took they dive and got the bison jalapeno dog. I liked the fact it was gluten free as I'm suppose to limit my wheat intake. I only wish that they had more options for the specialty side instead of having just pork brawst as most die hard health nuts aren't really the fan of the pig. Even though the prices are way higher for these dogs than the guy down the block I still don't feel as guilty eating these dogs. Oh and I loved how I was given a few free chips on the side. Defiately will be back to try some of the other items.
