Big O Tires

It was raining, my Left Front tire had registered low air pressure two days prior and I was facing an 8:30am (EARLY!) Doctor's appointment the next morning and that seemed it would take place on another rainy day. To get ahead of finding or fixing a *Flat* tire while rushing the next morning before my 7:30am planned departure time, I went to try and get tire repair at a Tire Business. Found Big O, they seemed busy (portends they do Good Business with lots of customers), I asked the young man at the intake desk if they do tire repair. He advised they did and to let him take a look. Up and out in the rain he inspected the tire in question and additionally checked all the other tires. He advised there did not appear to be any nail or other hazard in the tire and that the change in weather temperature could have impacted the air level. He promptly assessed and evenly filled the air pressure in all 4 tires. While he was filling the fourth tire, I told him to let me observe so I could do it myself an be sure I was doing it correctly. He complied and then offered me his air pressure check element/tool. WOW. I can just go buy one where do they sell them? He said he'd get me one I could have. He went and searched a few minutes, came back and said he couldn't find any but "Here. Take mine." (Hunh?) So I got an Education on weather & tire air pressure AND how to use the air measuring implement as well as the gift of implement itself! Additionally, I had All 4 Tires Serviced by Marco with great courtesy and efficacy. This is 2021, blighted with C-19 madness and to find such a Gracious YOUNG man just going out of his way to be a Service Agent was a Superior *Customer Service* experience. BIG O, Because of my Experience today, I'm telling all that'll listen: YOU're a Great Company and have a true ROCKSTAR in *MARCO*

Oil changes and tire service needed? Go talk to Mario. He'll give a reasonable price and explain why he's recommending what he's suggesting. He's been around forever and I'll miss his wry sense of humor when he finally retires for real.

The rest of the guys are pretty chill too, but Mario is still my go to.

Sometimes wait is long but service is great! And take advantage of their warranty when you buy tires.

I had a general checkup here a the same time my friend needed to do her general checkup. Not only did mine somehow take two hours longer than hers, all of my personal tire caps missing, and my things in the glove compartment crumpled and boot prints all over my documents, I found something much worse way after.
I usually do my own maintenance on my car but I had to let Big O Tires do it for the last two years because I've just been too busy. Now that I have the chance to change the motor oil myself again, I found that they had managed to put a pebble into my engine! The pebble was about a half an inch diameter and who knows how long that has been in there!? I will not be letting them change my oil, let alone touch my car again.

For two weeks now my car has been inoperable due to the hassle with my damaged tires trying to shop around and have my car diagnosed for damages.

Other shopscharged me $299 to check out my tires then left my car on Acc killing my battery and not taking ownership. I had to pay another $200 for a new battery.

Not to mention the outrageous cost estimates given by other shops.

I called Big O spoke to Fleur, Mario, and Jesus. Jesus help me today and has been wonderful.

My car is still with Big O awaiting completion but I am so relieved with the estimate and the intervention it's been a peace of mind knowing they can reasonably complete the job.

It is very nice to know there are honest people JESUS, out there not trying to charge extra to gain revenue especially when it is not necessary.

Great deals on tires. I'm a regular here after shopping around.
I went back to replace a tire, after one of the new ones I bought from them got popped my trash kn the freeway. I had the protection plan, so it was covered, and I didn't have to pay for a (new) new tire. However, one of the employees said I'd have to pay for alignment if I wanted it. but since I'd gotten an alignment with the original tires, alignment was actually covered for a year. He hadn't bothered to check before quoting me, so I was glad I asked--it saved me a couple hundred bucks, I think. Both types of warranties have been well worth it for me already. Make sure you check your bill if you're one of their regular customers!

This place oozes family atmosphere. The people that work here are top notch. I highly recommend Jesus, Brad, or Mario. They take their time to make sure you get the right care for your car.

Came in initially to get an alignment as I had new tie rod ends on. They advised me that my current tires had uneven wear which would make an alignment useless. They gave me a solid deal (expensive but a solid deal) on 4 tires, alignment and threw in brand new lug nuts free of charge as I had a few warped lug nuts. They took care of me on a Saturday after 3pm. Car runs great and couldn't be happier.

. Brad should be in charge . All the guys were better than precision and idiotic Honda. Couldn't figure out how to fix the Honda 2014 ,civic that maybe 6 months ago now . The God awful power steering would catch? Or whatever go from power to manual new sensor control bar for it? Ha no. And then family member who only said that her boyfriend recommends precision Auto. Bolognia the same probs occuring for my nths and...Jimmy's. " Doesn't know what he can do doesn't know what to tell me .. it's electrical call an electrical guy in duhhh..
Car wldnt show the prob when he'd last test driven. But it does it every other minute then stops then suddenly pulls trust to go to manual steering again ..


So don't know if the family's...financial person will accept what I tell her . That big o here San Leandro one u cannnn. trust and pay for them to do the job ..

Either way I'll get the solution job done at Big O

I dropped my car off for two new tires. Service was fast, took under two hours, but for some reason they called to let me know I need an alignment. I did not need an alignment when I dropped it off, so it seems weird I'd need one at pick up. I don't know if I'll be back; I usually go to Berkeley and never have had this issue. Doesn't feel genuine or good, feels like a scam.

A flat tire
No hard sell on a replacement. Clean waiting area.
Twenty minutes later I was good to go.
