Bin 4 Burger Lounge

I've been to Bin 4 several times and usually get the Heritage Burger which is their basic burger (sometimes I'll add bacon). I'm generally an adventurous person but when I'm craving a burger, I don't want anything too fancy. I have been there with friends who have ordered some of their other burgers including a veggie burger, bison burger and chicken burgers. My guests have always been happy, some proclaiming it to be the best burger they've ever had. Ingredients are always fresh and the choice of aioli dips that come with the burgers are a nice addition. Your choice of fries or salad comes with the burger (or for $1 extra, you can choose 1/2 & 1/2). The beef tastes noticeably better than fast food joints (no surprise) and is always cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable (big surprise). Service is impeccable. Servers have been upbeat, friendly & attentive every time I've been there. Vegetarian and gluten free options available so no problem taking your difficult/weirdo friends along.

2 minor gripes/suggestions:
1 - I walk by the outdoor patio area on Yates St frequently and have noticed that the outdoor heaters were turned on at times when it was not even cool enough outdoors to require heaters, there was no one on the patio (or only 1 table, etc...). I hate to sound judgemental, self righteous, etc...but this seems like a huge waste of energy. Maybe the customers (or staff) could individually turn on the heaters as needed? Maybe some type of removable tarp roof to contain the heat?
2 - (this also applies to many other restaurants). Can you please spray the cleaner directly into the rag you are wiping the table with instead of spraying the cleaner from above the tables? This way there is no mist created that you can sometimes smell from a nearby table.

I thought this place was pretty good but not amazing or anything. It kinda has more of a sports bar feel than upscale dining (which actually was perfect for me). Very family friendly as well.

Pretty decent alcohol options, lots of different burgers options available as well (some vegan choices as well).

Fries were great.

It gets super busy after 6pm or so. Come early (like I did) or make a reservation at least a day in advance.

What a lovely Burger Place!

Taking my Grandma here is the highlight of our month!

These burgers are even better than the ones in LA!

Waited 40 minutes for a hamburger.

Was so slow and I couldn't help noticing there were quite a few large tables that were there before we arrived that were also getting a little impatient about getting their food as well.

I just wish they'd warn you to expect a wait when they know it will take so long.

So between the wait, the flat pop, and their spicy fries (good fries don't need spices) and just ok hamburger, I won't rush back.

My wife and I have been looking forward to this place ! We started with the red onion rings ! 5/5 delicious !! However when we got to the burgers , they were ... decent...
My spenny burger was kind of dry but it was still a decent burger! The wild mushroom burger wasn't greasy, which is a bonus when going to a burger place but you like healthy options. The burger itself lacked flavour and didn't have any of the advertised sauces on the burger--a little disappointing.

The menu said Happy hour, burgers 50% off. But not if you get sides, it's a different menu and no deal? We had ordered 2 but if you ordered with sides it's no deal.. have to pay full price. Wow, poor practice, will not recommend. The Happy Hour is a joke! Not Happy Valentines Day for us.. we would have shared..

Food took a very long time to be delivered to the table, this was apparent as my salad was warm (heated under lights) and my table mates food was cool. Food was tasty but not outstanding for the price. Serve was very slow although there did appear to be staff they just didn't seem to get the work done. Desert was comped because service was so slow, cheese cake tasted like it had dish soap in it, incredibly disappointing for the cost. Would not return to this restaurant, to much cash for mediocre food and service.

Food took forever, service was almost nonexistent, my tofu burger was boring and under seasoned while my upcharged deep fried pickles (spears instead of chips much to my dismay) where over seasoned. Kids and wife both liked their food. $95.00 (including tip) is waaaaayyyyy too much for two adult burgers, drinks and two kids meals, especially when it took over an hour to get our food. Very disappointing.

Generous large portions! I'm always stuffed after eating here. So many burger choices to choose from. This place will definitely scratch that itch if you're craving for a big juicy burger. Service here is tentative and friendly.

Tip: You can order 1/2 salad and 1/2 fries if you want! Go after 9pm for a good time.. you won't regret.

It's subpar for a restaurant burger. I used to go when they first opened and they were better and more reasonably priced. My sister loves their salads though.

We thought the service was great. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and helpful. The food however, was a let down. We ordered bison burgers and they were definitely over cooked and not very flavorful. I honestly think they missed putting some of the hot (spicy) additives on it bc it really wasn't anything close to spicy. The fries were average to below average. Sort of soggy, which could be good at times but it needs to not lack flavor and that is what it did. The onion rings were above average. Good taste and they were perfectly crispy. The fried pickles were very good too. They may have put a little too much seasoning on one of them, but they were good. My kids said the grilled cheese was good, but they did not like the fries or onion rings. It's tough to go to a burger place and get something that isn't one of the best you've had.
