These folks were referred to me as I needed my electric start gas heater repaired. Coldest weather this week and my heater shut down. Called and left a message; call was returned in less than an hour. After 20 minutes on the phone and walking me through some steps, problem solved! These folks will have my business in the future should I need any heating issues addressed. Happy to refer them too! Thanks BKB!

I knocked loose a refrigerant line on my air handler unit while trying to clean it, and Brian was able to schedule and service it in half the time others were able to (and quite a bit less than I was quoted by those other firms, all of whom wanted to charge for a site visit to tell me what was wrong, even though the issue was completely known!).

Brian was professional, friendly (and, observed safety related to COVID-19) and expedient. He even provided advice on how to improve the air filtration to help my husband's allergies. I will definitely use again, and definitely recommend!

This is a follow-up to a previous review. We had service from Brian yesterday when it was over 90 degrees and the attic was even hotter. He returned our call within about 30 minutes and was at our house in 15 minutes so we would not suffer with the ghastly temp. I have worked with Brian and BKB before on some of my other houses.

The results have always been the same. On time, fixed the problem and charged a very fair price. In short, it doesn't get better than this!

They came out and gave me a competitive quote and installed a new furnace on time. They even enlarged my air filter intake at no extra charge. Very nice people. Would highly recommend.

Consistent with BKB's other reviews, I am equally impressed with Brian. My central heating system stopped working suddenly, I was in touch with him Monday and he came out later that day, figured out the problem (something about a control board on the main unit itself, not the thermostat), promptly ordered the part and was back at my house the next day to install it! The heating is working normally again. I told Brian on Monday that I'd really like to have it fixed by Thursday (Thanksgiving) and he didn't disappoint.

Brian was extremely efficient. Didn't try to do anything but address the problem we were having and make suggestions for maybe the future of the heating and air-conditioning. Awaiting his proposal, but he got the heat going when it was blowing out cold air. The company that installed the heating and air-conditioning system for this development were very substandard and never could fix the duct problem we were having but Brian adjusted a few things and opened up some closed vents and I'm now getting heat in the back bedroom and office! Yeah, Brian. You are the bomb! I recommend you highly! Will see what you suggest for the future.

BKB is the bomb! Brian is so nice and if I had to I'd buy another heating and ac unit from him in a minute! He was patient and very thorough in his work. I did a lot of research when I decided to get a new AC unit. He provided the best quote, working with me around others I had received. He explained everything in simple terms and did not mind answering any questions. They did a great job installing our new heating and ac unit and were prompt and clean as well, no mess left anywhere! We hired BKB Heating and Air Conditioning last month to install air conditioning and a new furnace. Our furnace was 21 years old and working fine, but we decided it only made sense to replace it so we would have the latest technology. I asked a good friend who had air conditioning and a new furnace installed last year for the name of the company she used. She told us that they used BKB. She said the owner was their neighbor and was a Diamond Certified company. Brian was one of three companies who bid our job, and my husband was so pleased that they install Trane almost exclusively. My husband is a retired electrical engineer and had done a lot of research on the best furnaces and air conditioners prior to getting our bids and decided that Trane was what we wanted. I wanted a Smart Thermostat, and we upgraded to a Honeywell WiFi Model TH932WF5003. This thermostat is so user friendly. I just returned from Mexico and could control the temperature with my iPhone from there or anywhere in the world using a WiFi connection. We felt very comfortable with every recommendation that Brian made, including increasing the size of our intake duct, located in our hallway. Brian also noticed quite a bit of rust on the top and bottom of our 21 year old hot water heater. They don't install hot water heaters, but Brian made a recommendation of the brand that he felt was best, and my husband and son replaced ours the week after our new furnace and air conditioner was installed. We could not be more happy with our decision to hire Brian at BKB. He did not send a team out to do the job. He and his worker did it themselves.

We returned from vacation to find our furnace not lighting. The PGE tech was great, but unable to diagnose the problem. He made an "off the record" recommendation for BGB. We called and they fit us in the same day and it took less than 1/2 hour for him to diagnose and fix the problem. No hidden charges. $90 for the first hour plus parts. Will definitely be calling if we have any other problems.
