Bledsoe Handyman & Construction is an incredible service. I'm sure like most home owners, it's a challenge to find a good handyman who can work on a range of home repairs, at the same time being available & keeps appointments on time. Their prices are competitive and they've quickly become my go-to. I've hired them so far for plumbing, electric, flooring & rebuilding my porch just recently.

I would highly reccomend them, great work and good team.

I am so glad that I found Raymond Bledsoe. He literally saved my garage in the nick of time. I had a crack joist, that caused my roof to sag, killed my garage door (due to sag & lean), and almost completely failed.
I requested quotes from 3 other garage companies, all wanted a complete tear down & re-build. Instead of joist replacement.
I sent pictures of structure as requested & got a response back quickly. Once Ray came on-site, he said it was an emergency fir us, and came out the next day to fix my garage.
He is so detailed, and precise in addressing the root cause that I felt at ease when he was discussing what needed to be done.
My electrical conduit was rehung, and looks great. I'll be calling Bledsoe for all my household repair projects.

In my experience working with Raymond he was unprofessional, unresponsive, and ultimately did not finish the work he was hired to do of installing and staining our condo's decks. Raymond used a different stain color than we requested without telling us and his application was very uneven. When I brought this up to him, he offered to either fix it or refund us the cost of the stain and we opted for the refund. After questioning why what he offered to refund us was less than what we paid him for the stain Raymond ghosted me. His offer stated that he would provide a receipt for the materials he bought and he did not provide the receipt when asked, which leads us to believe Raymond overcharged us. At that same time, I brought up to Raymond that we noticed he did not screw all of the boards on the decks. I directly asked him numerous times when he could come out to fix the boards with no response. The only time he ended up responding to me was when I said I would write a review and contact the BBB. He threatened to involve his lawyers and has ultimately refused to fix it or refund us. If Raymond had offered to finish the work and remedy the stain issue from the start I would have been happy with the outcome but I cannot recommend his services after this experience. Based on some other negative reviews, it seems to be his mo to stop responding to people and blame them for the issue not being resolved. I am disappointed that it took me getting upset with him to get any response and then he is using that against me to avoid fixing the issue. Raymond did not take responsibility for his work which was of very poor quality so if you are on the fence about using Raymond I would not recommend doing so.

Needed a shutter reattached after a recent storm. Raymond was quick to respond, showed up exactly when he says he would, and did an excellent job at a fair price. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Bledsoe Handyman to have a new vanity installed, install a new shower door and re-pave my front and back porch steps all at a great price. From the initial conversation he was very knowledgable and friendly. He made sure that everything was clean and tidy when he was finished and started on time. All of my questions and concerns were answered. I love my new shower and vanity and my porch steps look new. I have found my new handyman for all of my home repair needs.

We were so thankful to find Bledsoe to work on a variety of projects in our home. We found Raymond and his company to be professional, responsive, perform quality work, and priced fairly. It may take a bit to get started bc he comes to see work and provide estimate, and he is thorough in planning the job. He has been here to hang huge artwork and mirrors, install a unique bathroom vanity and faucet, install new shower door n old tub, install a vintage door knocker and peephole, remove wood shelving and install new Elfa shelving in pantries, patch and paint, and more. I've taken advantage of his service of picking up products at store for an add'l fee. And, a he honored his commitment to make it right on a project that didn't go as planned (more to do with the complexity and unknown than his work). He always cleans up. We plan to use him, again!

I was looking for a handyman to complete some faucet replacements. Bledsoe amongst others responded and ultimately were chosen to complete our project. Am i happy I chose them. I had been disappointed so many times in the past with late arrivals, no-shows, horrible personalities, etc. What I got with Bledsoe Handyman & Construction was prompt, courteous, professional handyman who arrived on-time and did a professional job. Quick response once I posted a potential project (misc odd jobs). Ray arrived on-time, is very friendly & I plan to hire again (patio furniture assembly & potential painting of bathroom in the Spring) He is very versatile & can complete many different types of jobs. It's really great to be able to have someone willing to come out for even just some minor repairs.

I hired Bledsoe to install a new rear entry door to my house. The handyman was on time and very courteous. The door seemed fine upon first glance but, looking a bit closer after he had left, there were some major shortcomings to the install.
The handyman made no effort to seal the perimeter of the door which left my house exposed to the elements and infestation. In the pictures i left, you can see that no sealing membrane was used under the door. You could literally see my subfloor from outside of the house. The frame wasn't caulked under our around the perimeter. Upon install, the handyman also pushed up on some J channel at the top of the door, creating a gap, and further leading to a possible water/bug issue. This was a very basic job that was done very improperly.
The door has since been removed and installed properly. I contacted Bledsoe with my issue and sent pictures. It's been almost 2 weeks but i haven't received any response. I would not use this handyman again.

Update: The handyman finally contacted me, but only in response to this review. There was no mention of warranty at the time of quote or install that i can recall. In regards to the trim; i told the worker that the interior trim did not need to be installed as the room is getting refinished. The lack of interior trim is not part of my issues with the install. In regards to the gap at the bottom of the door; I'm referring to the area immediately under the silver threshold. The threshold was set on top of shims and the subfloor is exposed to the elements. In regards to membrane or caulking; i wasnt made aware that i was supposed to supply them in order for them to be used. Caulking under the threshold is standard practice when installing a door and is a material you would expect the contractor to provide.

Raymond was prompt in providing an estimates of our project. He was very pleasant to work with. He was professional, knowledgable, and very patient with our inquiries. He was thorough and efficient. He kept us abreast of his progress. We recommend Bledsoe Handyman for your needs.
