Jane of Blossom Acupuncture is fantastic for all your aches and pains. I've pretty much been a regular client this whole year.

Getting old stinks or the pandemic did a number on me. Luckily, Jane has tons of patience as I described all my ailments. Her expertise is great as she knows exactly where to apply the needles to various parts of my body. To those who are new to acupuncture, the needles aren't sharp and don't puncture through the skin, more like the needle serves as a tool to help with pressure points.

Jane also knows what herbs/herbal supplements to recommend and doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. She also has great bedside manners and is mindful of room temperature, ergonomics, and etc. to ensure a positive visit.

Blossom Acupuncture is located in a tiny clutter with other health services, but rest assured, there is minimal contact with anyone else. Jane does a great job of following COVID safety protocols and I never worry about cleanliness. Ample parking in the back and conveniently located near downtown Alameda, police station, and public library.

Jane also accepts some insurance, always call to ask if yours is accepted. Thank you Jane/Blossom Acupuncture for all your help!

Jane is the best and really good at what she does. I've been having neck and fertility issues and she was able to address it all. I've been to several acupuncturists and she is the real deal.

Love it and love her! I lost weight, I always get tones of energy, helps my anxieties, it helps my spider veins, my cramps, my ankle, etc...... 100% recommended!

Here's a quick update: since my first visit, I discovered the ankle pain is actually dancer's tendinitis. Jane has been so helpful in taking the time and care to treat my inflamed flexor hallucis longus. It was Jane that suggested that was my problem at my initial visit, but I dismissed it, because it sounded serious. In any case, she was right. I have been going about once a week for the last few weeks. Because acupuncture, by itself, will not heal me completely, it is a great addition to any recovery program. So, along with seeing Jane, I am giving myself soft-tissue massage at home and doing RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation) and doming exercises to strengthen my arches. Acupuncture brings me deep relaxation and a heightened awareness to what my body is telling me it needs to heal.

Needless to say, Jane is helping me to recover dramatically. I have had a huge reduction in pain and my ankles are healing faster than I could have hoped for. For my issue, she uses electro stimulation, where a small electric pulse is generate between two needles. I know it sounds painful, but it just feels like a slight tap tap tapping and it has done wonders in moving the chi in my locked-up muscles. Even a week after treatment, I can still feel the tap tap tapping, as if my nerves are still doing the work to recover the tissue damage and inflammation.

I am so happy with the service at Blossom Acupuncture, that I have referred two friends to her already.

I have been going to Blossom acupuncture for over 6 months. I had been going to the chiropractor and receive medicine for my back from my primary care physician. When I started my sessions I could not touch my toes and had terrible back pain. Jane is professional, kind and thoughtful and asked detailed questions regarding my pain points. Jane is a great acupuncturist. She did acupuncture on my shoulder and low back and they felt great. She also did cupping on my shoulder and back and they felt great and I felt immediate range of motion increase. I highly recommend her she is a great condition and does a great job at what she does.
