I called Dave with Blue Line Electric yesterday, and he was able to come out the next day and resolve the electrical problem.
He addressed all my questions clearly and concisely.
Very professional; the price point was in line with other local electricians.
I'm both relieved and happy I found a local, knowledgeable, honest electrician.

I've used Dave on two separate occasions, he was always on time, professional and reasonably priced. We used Blue Line Electric to install sensor lights in our closet and to troubleshoot a lighting problem in our in law unit. Thank you for helping us with our electrical needs.

If I have an electrical project, Dave's my guy. So far, I've hired him a couple of times and my experience has been great. He's installed my security doorbell and put in a new electrical outlet in my garage.

My house was built in the '40's and due to that these type of projects are never simple. Dave's extremely competent and knows what he's doing. I trust him. He's also very responsive and reliable. An added bonus, he's a cool guy that's fun to chat with.

Dave was responsive, showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and was clear and communicative throughout. He fixed three receptacles in around an hour and a half, for a reasonable price, and he left us with a better understanding of our house's electrical system. Much appreciated, and we'd definitely call him again!

This business was incredibly rude in their interactions with me. I asked a couple questions in regards to working around timings of when my wife and I would be be available to have them come by and rather than attempt to find a time in a later week,a different day, or engage in any sort of discussion whatsoever around timing he told me to essentially F off since I didn't agree to the slot he proposed.

I can certainly find another electrician but I'm frankly stunned a company that communicates like this has such positive reviews on this site. Must be paying a pretty significant fee to downplay their bad reviews.

We recently contracted with Dave for a job that required wiring an in-ground trampoline and outdoor Jacuzzi. Additionally, we needed to enhance our capacity to be able to handle things like air conditioning and for potential future projects, such as preparing the way for an electric vehicle.
We would highly recommend Dave for any electrical needs you may need or be interested in. His dedication to getting the job done regardless of the circumstances was remarkable.

Things we loved about Dave was that:
1. Though clearly knowledgeable about all things electrical, he consulted with other trusted electricians to conceive of the best possible solution. We witnessed first-hand his process for problem solving, as he asked another electrician to come to the work site and help him troubleshoot and narrow down solutions in a situation where there may be many alternatives.
2. To wire the Jacuzzi and hot tub, it required that he go through 25 or 30 feet of solid bedrock for underground wiring. We spoke with other electricians who felt that this would make the job too difficult. Dave was not only able to complete the job, but the solution was elegant, and continues to work without a hitch.
3. Delivered ahead of schedule - we watched as Dave committed to working days, sometimes in scorching heat, to finish earlier than expected.
4. When working within our home to do some odd jobs, such as adding additional electric sockets and dimmer lights, Dave was able to identify where other electricians may have wired things incorrectly and/or sub optimally and after explaining the situation, simply corrected the problems as a matter of course while completing projects we assigned. We very much appreciated his willingness to do this and not charge as a separate project, but simply took care of things where needed.

Because of Dave's attention to detail, dedication, efficiency, and willingness to roll up his sleeves to solve problems, we highly recommend Dave to help with your electrical needs. With something as serious and dangerous as electricity, it is important to have someone in your corner who is serious and knows what they are doing. Dave fits that description perfectly.

It's hard for me to say enough good things about working with Dave. He has done everything from tricky and delicate chandelier installs above our table (looks beautiful and perfectly installed) to running a fresh 50amp wire through our garage up to the kitchen for a new appliance. He's become our go-to for any electric project around the house. He is prompt, responsive, communicative, fair and exceptionally knowledgeable. He is quick to understand problems and help find solutions. He's always thorough. And he's an incredibly nice guy. His attention to detail is unmatched and I'd recommend him without hesitation for any electrical job.

We have used Blue Line twice now. Both times Dave responded promptly, and did the work professionally. Our house was built in 1939 and has a few quirks and issues. Next up: lighting in the kitchen. It is really important to have an electrician you can trust, and I feel we have found that person with Dave at Blue Line.

I had an issue with what I thought was my circuit overloading. I spoke with Dave on the phone and provided preliminary details. He had an assumption that it was an issue w/ my circuit breaker and not an overloading issue. He swung by a few days later to diagnose the situation and his assumption was correct.

He went to home depot to get the right circuit breaker and the my electricity has not gone out since. I highly recommend Dave for any job you might need. He was very knowledgeable and even taught me a thing or two. He is a one man show so he may not pick up the phone right away. But if you shoot him a text he'll definitely get back to you.

Not only did he quickly diagnose the issue but he was also very friendly!

I had decided to add some lights to a room that didn't come with any. In doing so I was able to wire everything up but the switch. I found Blue line through reference on Nextdoor and am very thankful I did. Nothing but professional and punctual. Dave made himself available quickly and was able to take care of everything with relative ease in the same day. He was also very fair in terms of pricing. You get what you pay for and with Dave that's quality. Very satisfied with the work and will definitely be reaching out to him again on future projects.
