How organized thing are here. I ask for something, and they point the way. Everything "Boating" and "Sailing," right where you can get at it. Surfers, swimmers, SCUBA divers, captains, owners, crew, and even people primarily dockside should visit this place.

If you want to save some money, bring your shopping list here to obtain what you can. I really didn't need to buy brand new rope. You might not need to be so spendie.

Replacing the wrong anchor might go smoothly if you find one you like.

There are even nautical decorations for the home or boat house.

Ample parking on the property. Anything heave can be loaded conveniently near the main entrance, which faces the parking lot

      Great people to buy from.
I purchased a Raymarine Autopilot Drive Wheel over the phone at a very reasonable price. When it arrived and I was able to finally get it open ( they were unable to because of a seized screw ) I found a broken Drive Ring. When I contacted Matt and told him about the broken part he adjusted the price to my great satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Pelican Marine.

The current management was very gracious in dealing with business they inherited from the previous business. I took this as a strong and positive sign.

Really neat store! Definitely come here first if you need something for your boat. You will save yourself a ton of money. They have a large inventory and are super helpful.

Also consigned a few items and was really please with how fast they sold and the amount I received for them.

Minneys in Newport Beach used to be the best used goods marine store in CA but Blue Pelican has stolen the crown, big time. Amazingly well organized. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Need something obscure? Ask. If it's there they will find it. Minneys has gone crazy on pricing which is why on my recent visit I saw items in their inventory that have been there for over a decade unsold. BP is realistic on pricing. They will bargain a bit especially if you are buying a lot of items. They know an old non DSC VHF isn't worth $50. Minneys didn't get the memo. I got a used ugly but perfectly functional dual B belt alternator pulley for $5 at BP. At Minneys it would have been at least $25. BP doesn't have much trash, like broken or hopelessly outdated gear, e.g. LORAN or OMEGA receivers. I got some genuine unused Racor 2020 30 micron filter cartridges at BP for $8 each. A great price. I want BP to thrive. They deserve to succeed. BP provides a valuable resource for boaters on a budget. I'll be doing a lot more shopping here in the future. Long live Blue Pelican.

There was a little mix up in my consignment inventory.
The owner Matt contacted and took care of it very quickly.
I have sold and bought items from his store before and was happy with them.

Great service and deals. Just bought a used outboard motor from them and the guy working helped me carry it all the way down the marina. You don't see service like that too often. Totally grateful and will be back to do more shopping.

Consignment beware: The Blue Pelican Marine consignment policy is that it is up to you to check
In and ask if your item has sold.

I wrongly assumed that I would be called when my item sold. A customer in front of me ask why he was not informed his item sold. The policy was explained and he was paid $135.00.

I called in an was told my item sold. This policy makes no sense and favors the Blue Pelican Marine.
