I hired Brian twice, once to do a complete rewire of our house along with recessed light installation. Another time, we hired him for a external outlet and fixture light installation in our backyard shed. We couldn't have been happier with his level of professionalism and the quality of work. He is an extremely experienced electrician who always listens to you, makes sure to deliver what you want and works in a very timely manner. He is the textbook definition of an honest, knowledgeable and easy going working man.

If you want to hire an electrician, do not go for a cheap company. Instead, spend a couple of dollars more but make sure your million dollar investment is in safe hands. I would absolutely recommend BMH electric and I'll be hiring Brian in the future.

We recently moved into a house in Half Moon Bay that needed electrical work . We had a long list of smaller jobs, including replacing faulty outlets, rewiring a gardening shed, and hard-wiring high-speed internet for our son's bedroom. But it's an old house, and we weren't sure if we needed to upgrade or repair the main fuse box or not.

Brian came out to assess the job and provide a quote. He was on-time, polite, super clear in his communication, and explained the pros and cons of upgrading the fuse box. There was no pressure, no scare tactics, and no b.s. He provided an estimate, we agreed to what work he would do, and we scheduled our repair days.

He and his assistant arrived right on time, but by then we decided we wanted him to do a few extra wiring jobs, including hard-wiring the doorbell, installing an extra outlet on the front of the house, and installing a few extra dimmer switches. It was no problem. He was also examined the main fuse box, and was very honest about the fact that we didn't need to upgrade it right away.

All the work was done quickly and expertly. I worked from home, and he made sure I had power and Internet access when I needed it. AND ... they even finished a full day sooner than expected.

I have worked with Brian and his apprentice Dan on a number of jobs since fall of 2023. These include installation of a couple EV chargers in two different homes, a new distribution panel, a Reolink security system, and odds and ends (WiFi light switches and outlets).

He is highly detail oriented and trustworthy. Would highly recommend his services.

Brian came within just a couple hours on a Friday before the long holiday weekend to replace our smoke detectors. When I first inquired, I explained I had just one bad one. Brian explained that there was a minimum fee to come on site, and since it had been more than 10 years since we last replaced them, having someone do them all at once would be more beneficial for the time he would be here. He went beyond to recommend a type smoke detector and whom to buy from wholesale to save us about 40% cost. Would recommend and use Brian again!

Brian did a great job with the lighting project for our store. We were moving from hanging lighting to recessed lighting.

Professional, friendly and on time electrician. I like that he gives a fair quote that details the project scope as discussed in messages and phone calls.

We initially hired Brian to help our condo association with installation of exit signs in our hallways. He did a great job so we hired him again to do some electrical work in our own condo unit.

We needed our fuse box relocated from a bedroom closet to behind the bedroom door to be up to code. He also installed new recessed lighting in our hallway and living room and above our dining table. He made minimal holes in the drywall and saved the pieces for us so that we could get our handyman to patch.

We always keep BMH in mind when we consider future electrical projects!

Brian is a pleasure to work with. He replaced a large number of lights on the ceiling of our big room. The ceiling is high and parts of it are hard to reach. Brian didn't complain even though he had to drive back to his office to get a longer ladder. The room lights up beautifully now - no buzzing or flickering that we had with the older lights. He was also gracious in helping with a speaker problem on his way out. 5/5, will work with him again.

Brian responded quickly and was able to solve my problem. He knew what he was talking about. Would definitely hire again.

What a great experience. Brian responded promptly to my inquiry. He asked for pictures of the location for the charger. He quoted a fair price for the installation of the EV charger. It is without any reservation that I would recommend BMH for any electrical project in my home!

I needed to replace my main electrical panel after a different electrician installed the wrong model and stopped responding to my calls and emails. Brian provided a fair quote, showed up on time, did the work, and it passed the city inspection - everything you could ask for in an electrician :)

His quote wasn't the cheapest one for my job, but it wasn't the most expensive either. Brian is very experienced and his quote was a fair quote for someone with his high level of expertise.
