Boardwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

I live in Sonoma County, CA, but I work as a consultant and regularly live in other areas for extended periods of time. While living and working near San Carlos, CA, I needed my 2018 Jeep Compass serviced for some electrical and battery work, so I took it to Boardwalk Chrysler. I could not be happier and more satisfied with the service. They did an excellent job of finding the problem and solution. A special shout out to Kevin who was the service representative that assisted me. He was always available via text and did a very good job of negotiating with my service contract company. I recommend them highly.

Had a terrible experience at the Boardwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer. My husband and I came to this car dealer with a mind set of purchasing a vehicle we had looked at for a few days online. We weighed out the options and comparison of another similar vehicle and decided we would go for the first choice. Upon arrival to the dealer we were approached (NOT GREETED) but approached by Joseph McMahon a sales associate. Immediately he went above and beyond to be a piece of work. We told him that we wanted to see the specific car we were interested and and he continued to tell us that the car we wanted to see was locked up, about 10-15mins away, he's alone, no one is here with him and that if we wanted to test drive a car we could drive the one sitting in the lot. My husband told Joe that he would prefer to drive the car we are interested in because thats what we would like. Again we both had done our research and compared these two car so there was no reason to not be helpful especially when we are aware they're different. First he tells us yes, he will bring the car, then he tells no MY MANAGER says if you want to test drive a car you drive the one in the lot. Again incredibly rude. Finally after going back and forth with Joe he says "Well I'll get you the car if you're going to buy it". At that point we realized this was not the place we wanted to do business. It was unfortunate because this is the car I truly wanted, again came with a mind set to buy the vehicle but ended with a different outcome.
Good Job Boardwalk dealer.. you lost a potential customer and a sale.

Saw they had a very lightly used 2023 Ford Bronco wildtrak with 4k miles on it on line. She was beautiful. Nichole reached out to me after I inquired about it. Set up a test drive time the next day. She was very professional and nice to work with. I told them my budget and they were able to get my payments around to what I needed. Peter the GM was great. He went out of his way to make sure I was able to drive the bronco off the lot that day. They also helped me return my rental at enterprise down the street. Then he even offered to swing by my apartment in San Jose to get the check since I didn't have it with me. I would definitely recommend this dealership. After going through the trauma of crashing, my custom Tacoma into a concrete wall. They made this experience, enjoyable and stress free.

At age 59, i had never had interest in a 4X4.. until two weekends ago. Four Day weekend in the desert in a Rubicon 4XE Jeep with a friend, returning Monday. Tuesday, i called my local Jeep dealership having seen the model i was looking for and spoke with Joseph M. and that morning drove over for a test ride. Joseph was perfect, realizing i was on the cusp of making a spontaneous purchase and insisted my wife test drive it at least before i pulled the trigger. I test drove and went back to work. Joseph showed me a comparable Bronco and we discussed my needs.

Came back to the dealership after work, and the wife had waived the need for a test drive and my budget was expanded slightly. Joseph showed me and i asked to drive the more expensive Grand Cherokee 4XE, which i did, manager thought Joseph was not closing the deal; however he was doing exactly what i needed; letting me see a higher end alternative, which i ended up declining.

I got it; a 2023 Jeep Rubicon 4XE in Bright White, and the wife loves it, even if it WAS a spontaneous purchase. Joseph was perfect and even the manager realized the wisdom of his move once i put the check down. It's a tough business, selling used OR new car.. mine was slightly used, only 5.4K miles. Joseph allowed me to apply some common sense to a knee jerk purchase (although i have good taste) and everybody ended up happy. Well Done Team at Boardwalk! (kudos to the lady who i paid at the end too! from Peru!)

Purchasing a used car review:

I found the used car at Boardwalk and submitted a request to test drive via email. David Campos responded within the first few hours. After a couple of email exchanges we decided on the time and date. The day before the test drive he also gave me a call to confirm if I was still interested.

When we pulled up into the dealership, David immediately walked out and greeted us along with his manager. This was nice because we were just buying a used car and they were super friendly.

While out for our test drive they also appraised my car to determine the trade in value. I was happy with the amount they gave me.

The whole process took us 3 hours because we had to wait for the financing officer to help us. While we were waiting David also chatted with us and didn't leave us like sitting ducks which was nice.

After purchasing the car, David even cleaned up windshield and the inside for us. They also washed the car before our test drive. (I wish they left it on a full tank too because it was only at half ;).. wishful thinking). However David was kind enough to help us change the key battery because we got an alert from the car that it was low.

Overall we had a positive experience at Boardwalk and we were very thankful we had David Campos as our Sales rep. Keep up the good work David!

Repairmen are lazy, unresponsive, disorganized, and selfish. They take advantage of people they know have no other option. Avoid at all costs.

Today I became an official Jeep owner. I had the most amazing experience at Boardwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealership. Bobby, the sales person assisted me and gave me one of THE BEST service ever. He helped me with everything and i got an amazing deal! The whole team there was just amazing. I definitely recommend getting your future jeep from them!!!

Saucedo will charge for everything. Even if it's for a check up, he charged me for some kind of liquid to check if a certain part was working. He charged me $250 for a check up. If you want to get scammed by dealer at the dealership (said no one ever right?) go here. Honestly go to your ma and pa local mechanics because that's why they have great reviews instead of unethical people like here. Your parents taught you well Saucedo.
