This place rocks. We arrive just before closing and the manger was so welcoming. We promised to eat fast and were grateful after a long day at the conference. We are glad we did.

The food was AMAZING! Cool and friendly staff, awesome food choices and the presentation was beautiful.

We will be back again but def worth a try. These folks know how to treat their guests.

When we arrived, it was after 8PM and were seated right away. We did not have a reservation prior and walked in. Service was friendly and quick. Since we arrived after dinner time, the ambiance was a bit quiet. We were one of the last tables there.

To start, we ordered the Ceviche Mixto that came with three different sections and variations of ceviche. I had never tried ceviche before so I enjoyed the three different variations. The Empanada Sampler we ordered arrived with a side salad that we both enjoyed. The fillings in the empanadas were juicy and delicious. For mains, we ordered Aji de Gallina and Tallarin Saltado (not pictured). Both were delicious and arrived in huge portions. I was not able to finish. Of course, we ordered a few rounds of the Sours as well. The Bocado's Pisco Sour and Maracuya Sour were yummy!

Definitely recommend if you are in the area and craving Peruvian.

I love Peruvian food and was so excited to try Bocado for our team dinner while in San Francisco for a work trip. The inside is a bit modern with fun ocean themed decorations. The service was incredibly friendly from start to finish. Our server took great care of our large party and wasn't afraid to provide us with recommendations to steer our meal in the right direction.

We had to get the ceviche sampler platter, of course. Peruvians know how to do ceviche better than anyone else. And every single ceviche was absolutely delicious. We also got the fried whole fish, fried rice, and pisco sours among other dishes that are escaping my mind right now. Although I might not remember every single thing our huge party devoured, I do remember that everything was on point. Especially the pisco sours and the purple potato appetizer which was unlike anything I've ever had.

All of it came out in a timely manner and we were all so satisfied. The only thing to note is that the bathroom is located down a very long and strange hallway in the back of the building but it wasn't much of an inconvenience, more so just an odd feature.

Went for a work event with a team of 15, we were taken good care of. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful.

We ordered plenty of dishes from ceviche, empanadas , steak, pasta , yuca fries and more. Plenty of drinks on the table, from the popular sours, Mezcals and wine. Overall really enjoyed our evening and happy with the service .

Our team was WELL taken care of at Bocado! We were a group of around 9 folks and the team at Bocado was on their game - taking care of cocktails, apps, and entrees all with flare and consideration. I have had Peruvian food only a handful of times in my life, so I am no expert, but this certainly tops the list.

We ordered something from every section of the menu, and standouts for me were the grilled whole fish that's served with mussels and assorted seafood on the side, and the rice entree dish. My hibiscus margarita was shaken to perfection and the rest of the table also enjoyed their cocktails. The interior of the restaurant is lovely and they are a great option for group dining. The bulk of the diners in the restaurant were fellow corporate groups.

If you're looking for fresh ceviche, great seafood, and great cocktails in a warm atmosphere - this is your spot.

      Seated via Yelp Reservations

My daughter and I stopped by here to get a bite in before the Giant's game. Here's what we ordered:

Maracuya Sour - A nice sour tropical drink. It tasted great but I wish there was a bit more passion fruit flavour here. I did enjoy the ever-so-slightly thick consistency of the drink as it made it a bit more enjoyable to drink.

Chicken Sandwich - I got this for my 5 year old daughter. The sandwich overall was quite tasty and all the flavors were there but the chicken breast was just so dry. This also wasn't the easiest thing for my daughter to eat so I had to open it up and have her pick at it with her fork. I won't fault the restaurant for this but just keep this in mind if you plan to get this for your little one.

Ceviche Clasico - Very pretty but kind of disappointing. I've had my fair share of ceviche and this was not a favorite. It was nice and sour but hardly salty to complement the taste. The pieces of fish were nice and fresh, so no complaints there. I just wish there was slightly more depth of flavor here

Overall it wasn't a bad experience, but the food could have been a bit more exciting.

OK! Outside of the takeout Peruvian spots near me, I don't really dine in at full Peruvian restaurants. This one had an expansive menu, and my group just got a bunch of different items.

I was not expecting to see purple potatoes on their menu, but they had it! Their presentation was spot on with their causas... the purple popped, and they were filled with tuna tartare. So yummy! The other item I really loved was their scallops. The shells were massive and the flavor profile was perfection with the cheese and wine sauce.

There are a lot of items to touch on, but the quinoa salad, grilled fish, plantain, fried rice, and tres leches cake were flavorful and hit the spot. I'm missing a bunch, but it's too many to count. Shout out to family style! Given how much was ordered, it's amazing how timely everything came out. Huge kudos to their service!

My boyfriend and I returned for a second visit to this restaurant, having been there when it first opened. Despite noticing slightly smaller portions this time around, the food remained delicious. We indulged in the Churrasco A Lo Probre, Carne Anticuchos, and Pulpo Anticuchos. While the grilled steak in the Churrasco A Lo Probre was ordered medium rare, some parts were a bit too chewy. However, the highlight of the meal was definitely the Anticuchos, both the beef and octopus skewers were exceptional. Additionally, we noticed changes in the presentation of the food, which seemed lacking compared to our previous visit. We complemented our meal with an IPA beer and Mango Lemonade, which were refreshing choices.

Although the staff was friendly, their attentiveness was lacking, requiring us to seek them out when we needed something. Despite these minor drawbacks, I'm still inclined to give the restaurant a four out of five rating due to the outstanding flavors.

I was in town for a conference and heard about Bocado from a fellow attendee. They had hyped this place up so I tempered my expectations to be safe. Thankfully this place lived up to the hype!

The staff were super accommodating to the folks that had dietary restrictions and to us coming in later in the evening as a large group (6 of us) needing separate checks due to us having to submit receipts for expense reports.

Despite having to deal with all that rigmarole they timed our food perfectly while still providing genuine service and smiles!

With it being a weeknight and later in the evening the place was fairly quiet, the space was neat ans spacious enough.

The food exceeded expectations. The empanadas were crispy and flaky in the outside with a perfectly cooked, flavorful filling. The ceviche was as was described it would be with a little bit of spice and an appropriate amount of broth. I should have heeded the suggestion for some bread to soak up the broth! Next time I'm in town I will be back!
