Best Burger in Burlingame!!!
I just ate my first burger from there after reading the jatbar review, and it was totally awesome. I ordered the Island Burger, which is basically a burger with meat patty, lettuce, tomato, chedar cheese, sauteed onion and thousand island dressing. Kinda like IN n Out burger, but 10 times better. I could help smiling while eating it. :) The burger is so juicy, and as everyone else said, the size is just enormous. It's like eating 2 burgers. And it's interesting that they serve it not with buns, but on a sandwich roll. The sauteed onion is just perfect, not greasy like how it's served at some places. The whole combination of the Island Burger is just perfect, the juicy meat patty, soft but not mushy roll, crisp lettuce, and the blend of the Thousand Island, cheese and meat flavor is awesome. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone.

Very friendly service on an early Sunday morning. I can imagine this place getting crowded for the lunch rush.

Ginormous yummy sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread. I went for the Chop Chop Sandwich. Just half a sandwich was super filling. Very yummy sun dried tomato spread, Ceasar dressing.

Ordered with everything in it. Lots of flavor packed into each bite.

This place is a 10 out of 10! This deli on Broadway is a hidden gem, offering a variety of delicious, freshly made food. After walking by several times, today, I finally gave it a shot. I chatted with the local resident and owner Dan, who clearly takes pride in their establishment. What's better than having a beer with fries and a sandwich?so heavenly!

Was craving a sandwich, so stopped by to try out Bonne Sante's Milano sandwich which includes salami, prosciutto, provolone cheese and all the toppings. The quality of the vegetables were very nice and I enjoyed the tartness from the combination of the olives, jalapenos, and vinegar. It seems that the sandwich is toasted with the meat so the salami and prosciutto were a bit crispy so that might not be everyone's cup of tea. I would recommend asking for the meat not to be toasted if that is an option.

We dined in and there's plenty of seating and TV's. The restaurant gives a nice sports bar feel and is adorn with San Francisco sport team memorabilia. Food was prepared quickly and served to our seats. Besides their sandwich selection, they also serve burgers, salads, beer, and various sides like loaded fries, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings.

Overall, this place makes a nice sandwich, albeit a messy one. I would recommend checking to see if you can just get the bread toasted so the meat stays consistent with deli quality.

I wonder if they have different cooks because my experience seemed to different from the other rave reviews.

It's definitely an old local spot. They seemed to get a lot of regulars. I can't help but compare them with Little Lucca's.

We ordered a burger and a sandwich, both were just ok. We took leftovers home and didn't want to finish the sandwich. The cooking and quality was below average.

They have indoor seating which is a plus. The lady at the counter was super friendly and nice. Prices are fair considering the portion sizes.

The ventilation isn't good and the cooking smoke and smell was very strong.

I came for the food and it was disappointing.

Just left my job for a lunch break just got here and White lady said they were closed while a full table sat in. Said to have to go there but, I'm in Burlingame if your from the Bay Area no need to explain how I felt being a person of color walking into a establishment a hour before they close and staff says they're closed. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

I hate giving local businesses bad reviews but I am compelled to share this as I have given this sandwich shop a few tries and each time I regret it and end up throwing out the massive sandwich. The reviews left do not properly speak to the actual food being put out.

The only reason I am giving two stars is for the portion given relative to the price and that's it.

I ordered a Milano sandwich today and my husband the smoker. We picked it up and walked our 5 minutes back to our home. By the time we opened up the sandwich to eat they were a soggy mess, dripping in oil. My sandwich had cooked prosciutto and salami!! Who does that? It made the meat hard, and just a salty piece of jerky- let alone it's unappealing gray color. Toast the bread, toast the bread with cheese but leave the Italian meat off the flat top! The Dutch crunch was soggy and laden with a pound of the olive spread that wasn't needed.

I wanted so much to finally enjoy a sandwich from here but this will be the last time we will come.

Great food and friendly staff. I been here 5 times and always good great service. It is a family own business so you will get alot of food for the price.

The place is clean. If you like sports this is a place to to for a beer and sandwiches. The fries were fresh like all the sandwiches.

Had them cater a small lunch for a training we had going in the office. They were awesome super accommodating (I was picky) delivered on time (worth the $10 fee) and everyone loved their sandwiches. We will definitely use you guys again. Thank you Dan and Karen for all your help with this order.

Very convenient location on Broadway in Burlingame. My spouse and I always split a Bacon Cheeseburger, it's portions are big enough to fill us both up and it's consistently the best burger in the area. Today we got their steak fries too and they were fresh to order. The staff are very friendly and outgoing. Vibes are your typical sports bar but a lot cleaner and friendlier. A must go if you're in the area and want something tasty and quick.

Great, sizable sandwiches! We live walking distance and have loved this place for years. Unfortunately they do not pay attention when taking phone orders, if you request any subtractions, such as no Mayo, you will still get Mayo. But they are worth it!
