      Food is great
Service is even better- we are so well taken care of by both Kelly and Katlyn.
      Music bingo is a plus.

First time back in years to this West Sac location. Came in for Happy Hour on a Tuesday with about 10 of my coworkers. Paved and gravel parking lot. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the food. Still, we mostly stuck to the Happy Hour menu food and drink items: fried pickles, fried jalapenos, three orders of pretzels with beer cheese, buffalo cauliflower, and fries to share.

Some folks had wine, beers, watermelon margarita, raspberry lemon drop, a cucumber (smash?) cocktail, custom drinks (dirty sex on the beach: chambord, midori, vodka, pineapple juice), or vodka shots. Although the Mai Tai sounded good, I ultimately went with the Pineapple Moscow Mule. The drink service was a little slow, but we were at a long table in a separate room away from the main bar area.

The fried pickles and jalapenos both came with ranch dressing, and the jalapenos were spicy! The buffalo cauliflower bites were okay, though you could mostly taste the breading and they definitely needed the buffalo sauce to dip in. Fries were hot and fresh, with ketchup and yellow mustard provided at the table.

My favorite was unsurprisingly the pretzel with beer cheese. Not too salty or tough, and the beer cheese was good. Small plates and knives were provided when asked, and napkins, forks, and straws were already at the tables. Did not try any of the sliders this time, or other flavors of fries. Would've liked to see fried zucchini, chicken wings, or tacos on the HH menu. Single-stall all-gender bathrooms were clean.

Didn't really card for the atmosphere and food. It was just ok. Nothing to rave about. We went for lunch time, I imagine that in the evening is
      More lively.
With that being said, the service was really great!

This is a cool place to stop if you are in west sac. Especially after a ball game. Its only a couple minutes away.

The service was fantastic. The poor waitress was working by herself, didnt write a single thing down, and she was attentive and got our food out in no time.

The food was really good. I had grilled fish tacos. The fish was well cooked, the had some nice heat and sweetness. I cant complain at all.

We also had the buffalo cauliflower wings. Which I would wholeheartedly recommend. They came with some of the most unique buffalo sauce I've had.

The food was good, the beer was cold, and the service was excellent. Cant ask for more for much more than that.

Grilled Fish tacos, buffalo cauliflower wings, and fries for the little one. Everything was delicious.

I had been here once, a few years ago and I thought I remembered it was decent for a roadside tavern. Oh was I wrong!

Side salad lettuces were somewhat wilted. The mushroom cheesesteak barely had any cheese and the mushroom lacked flavor. The fries were the worst ever. I requested them extra crispy and they were FAR from anything close to crispy. Sad to say, but the best tasting part of the meal was the vegan which sauce

Only one person to serve the entire bar and dining room during lunch.

If you don't care about food quality and service this might be the place for you. I've removed Boderick Roadhouse from my bookmarks. Not worth venturing to the west side for less than mediocre food at above average prices.

Lots of parking in a gravel lot.

Mushroom Cheese Steak (Vegan) No bread and fries I ordered xtra crispy... clearly not what I got
1/2 sized salad (wilted lettuce :(

Oh well. This place had me at fancy cheeseburgers! I was excited to try this place. They have a large sign at the end of the driveway so I think it is now easier to find. The front door is not marked but is at the far left of the building. Inside is a typical bar restaurant. I ordered a blue burger: a bacon and blue cheese burger with crispy onions and double fried French fries!! Too bad that it didn't live up to any of the hype. The burger had two large, thick bacon slices that were really good. It was covered with blue cheese and I love blue cheese but it was too much. The crispy onions were limp and greasy as were the "double" fried fries. To do that successfully the fryer needs to be hot! And if you put frozen fries in it you have to wait and drain the fries before cooking the second time. I couldn't eat the fries or onions, I was offered to have it remade but to be honest if they don't know how to cook it the first time I am not sure it would have been any better. And I said as much-in a nice way. No deduction was offered on my $20+ burger so I won't be back. I would say to others to give them a try, they definitely have potential.

Brodericks West Sac is one of my go-to places to eat lunch in town. It's a small restaurant with a bar and dim lighting but perfect for a quick bite. It also looked like they were adding some outdoor seating but i'm not 100% sure on if that's open to the public or not.

The searvers have always been nice and chill every time i have gone in (which has been easily over 20) times. And the food always comes out pretty quickly.

      Food wise:

Fish Tacos are always my favorite 5/5 for both the grilled and the fried! (grilled if you're taking it home so the crispy doesn't get soggy).

Colossal Buffalo Wings 3.5/5 they HUGE and different but only 2 flavors and not as filling as i thought

Mac & Cheese 4/5 i love it because it's very rich but my kids didn't do it just depends on the persons preferences

Desperado Sandwich 4.5/5 great flavor sometimes i ask for extra veggies because i love them

Fried Chicken Sandwich 3/5 this is my favorite food, so I'm very picky with these. I'm not really a fan of bacon on the sandwich but it's OK.

Gold Rush Burger 3/5 because the combo of mac and cheese and burger sounded amazing but it was to much for me personal

Old School Burger 5/5 my husband gets it every time, he says it's juicy and flavorful

El Charro Burger 5/5 this is my favorite burger combo, you can never go wrong with crispy onions and pickles

*Note: all burgers are 1/2 pound so the patties are very thick and filling*

      The Fries..!

      Naked 5/5
Bahn Mi 5/5 (i get without pork)
Garlic 4/5 (sometimes they don't taste the garlic)
Buffalo Blue 3/5 (sometimes you don't taste the buffalo and they done soak up the flavor)
      Desperado 5/5

      Fish Tacos for 3

I have tried the other locations but a first in West Sac.

Entering the place was clean and inviting. We were greeted and seated quickly.

My girlfriend and I split the Lamb Burger and upgraded our order of fries to Bahn Mi Fries.

The lamb had a depth of flavor due to the Lebanese spices and paired well with the goat cheese and garlic aioli. You think having Bahn Mi Fries would be overkill but it was quite the opposite. The lamb burger was rich and hearty as the Bahn Mi fries were tangy, and a bit sour (in a good way, reminded me of fish sauce) which killed the richness of the burger and cleansed the palate.

This is a great spot for a burger and spending time with friends.

Will be back for their happy hour and Colossal Wings! A co-worker of mine ordered them and they were MASSIVE!

      Thank you Team!

So first, things first, my arteries are officially clogged, but my tongue and stomach were in heaven after eating one of their delicious burgers. Their Gold Rush Burger with crispy mac & cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, garlic aioli, and fried onion crisps was simply amazing. Add to that, excellent fries and you have a meal to die for. The service was fast, pleasant, and with a smile which always ups the ante. The drinks were phenomenal with interesting twists to old favorites. The kitchen, which we could see from our seats was spotless and the chefs were on target with their preparation. So why not a 5-star? The place needs some major sprucing up. It looks and feels old and dated. the tables and chairs really need replacing. Will we go back? Probably just to try some of the other menu items. All three of us were extremely satisfied with our food selection.

Whiskey Sour, Mai Tai (with amaretto), and Pineapple Moscow Mule.

Quality, still very good and tasty.
Quantity, no longer the same. All burgers used to be 1/2 lb. The older menus had that in all of the burger descriptions. Our burgers came out, and they looked like they were on a bun made for a slider, and the patty fit the bun.

I miss the days when you got what you paid for. Broderick's was always a little pricey, but the food was excellent, and the portions were what you would imagine at a "roadhouse". You left feeling full, maybe a little too full, but satisfied. And, all of the burgers used to have a tasty bread and butter pickle slice on top. I was told that our burgers don't come with pickles.

I understand inflation, but prices go up, and portions get smaller? Come on man, that's how you lose loyal customers
