Ariel Ben is the PM for my project, he's very responsive throughout the project. From brainstorming, design suggestions to shopping finished material, job progression check up. I am glad to work with him.

Auner and his team handled all the city permit and inspection really well, they are knowledgeable on varies code, so the project went smoothly. It took ~3.5 week to finish 2 bathroom remodel and replace fireplace.

Just finished our kitchen and living room renovation with Brother and Brother and we are extremely happy with the results.

From initial interviews through the final touch ups, we were consistently very impressed with our project manager, Daniel Perez. You spend a lot of time with your project manager going from interviews to execution, and Daniel is a nice person to work with. He was responsive, easy to communicate with, and seemed genuinely friendly. He was also honest in his feedback on ideas and options. We've had negative experiences with previous contractors, so it was quite refreshing to work with Daniel, as well as project coordinator Nick, foreman Byron, and the rest of the Brother and Brother team.

Issues that came up (our house is 50 years old, so things will come up) were explained clearly, and dealt with. It was easy to message the project team and speak with the crew on site for questions or feedback. Communication through a Whatsapp group worked very well. Work moved forward consistently, with real progress every day. Daniel and the team made sure any problems we saw were addressed, and in several cases (issues with hiding drywall transitions, moving an outlet box we hadn't specified clearly) I was impressed by how completely they fixed the problem. The team did a great job working with our cabinet maker, and a number of tricky details (custom TV arm, unusual window style) were handled well.

Several weeks after moving in, we are happy with the finished quality, and that is saying something because we are nitpicky. If you're looking for a well-run, professional team to work with, we highly recommend these guys. We are already talking with them for our next project.

Brother & Brother Builders helped us convert our old outdated bathroom to a beautiful & modern bathroom. They made the process easy. We loved the help from the designer and the bathroom looked just like the designer rendition in the end. She helped us pick the tile which was super helpful. Tal, the project manager was available to answer questions or discuss issues. The works asked us for input before setting the tile so we got exactly what we wanted. I will definitely use them again when we are ready to remodel our master bathroom. In addition, the price they quoted was what we paid even with minor changes needed

Terrible experience during a kitchen remodel in San Jose. Our biggest issue with B&B was their deceit. First, farming out our entire project to another contractor we'd never heard of without any discussion or notification to us. Then providing poor, unqualified supervision of the project, then frequently either lying or hiding things from us or blaming others when problems arose. You simply can't trust B&B. I would never let them near a project again.

Details:
Subcontracted our ENTIRE PROJECT out without our knowledge to a company we knew nothing about who in turn sent out unlicensed workmen to complete the work (even made the other workers wear Brother & Brother t-shirts so we wouldn't find out - only found out after we asked for their licensing info)

Very little, if any, coordination and management of the project. Our first project manager moved to San Diego without telling us at the beginning of the project and his replacement didn't show up until about six weeks in. The replacement was not a licensed contractor and clearly knew very little about construction and he regularly told us things that were not true. It is not clear whether he lied deliberately or if he just didn't know what he was doing. Incredibly stressful and time consuming for us to run the project ourselves - had to pick up everything ourselves (baseboards, flooring, transition boards, etc.) - on more than one occasion we had to get another contractor in for advice because B & B refused to help us. Constant fire drills due to lack of communication with us and other contractors. Another contractor called it a 'runaway' project because there was no management or anyone taking any responsibility (they were disgusted with how B&B was handling our project).
Ruined countertops - ordered lovely gray countertops, B&B installed them whilst we were away and without any discussion with us, covered it in 'enhanced sealant' instead of regular sealant - this turned the countertops glossy black. B&B solution was to sand it off which has caused uneven coloring throughout the countertops - in the end we gave up to avoid them ruining them further.

Shoddy electrical work - whenever B&B touched the electrics something broke, but they never informed us which caused costly repairs for us. Only told us about broken solar breakers (which in turn caused the inverter to break) when we asked about it after receiving an enormous PG&E bill. Found out all of the pool equipment had been turned off when the pool guy came out the following week wondering why our pool was going green. Front gate stopped opening. Garage didn't open. Kitchen outlet breaker needed to be replaced as the one they used kept tripping. With the exception of the solar, B&B did end up fixing these issues, but not without cost to us in the meantime. (Our solar is going to cost thousands of dollars to fix and we lost an entire summer of electricity generation, costing thousands more).

Forced us to hire other contractors because they refused to deliver on the scope of our signed contract - had to hire an electrician separately because B&B work wasn't completed properly, had to hire a contractor to install the backdraft (even though in the contract it stated they install appliances).Constantly chased for payments even when
work wasn't completed.

Denial, denial, denial. - Would never take responsibility for anything, even when it was clearly their work (e.g., electrical work, countertops). Always made out that they were doing us a 'favor' for fixing things that they screwed up and lied to us frequently about what they had done or not done. For example, they told us multiple times that they had not done anything to change the color of the countertops, so we asked the fabricator directly and he told us that he had used enhanced sealant, which caused the color change Told us the backsplash was completed and looked great and asked to be paid, but when we checked it, it was incomplete.

8 week project took over 6 months to complete during which time we were without a kitchen

Zion and team did a great job in fully renovating 3 of our bathrooms. From the initial meeting, Zion really brought his design ideas and thoughts, which we really appreciated. We had bids from 3 companies total, and ultimately decided with Zion as we really liked his ideas. This was our first big remodel project, while we did have several bumps along the way, Zion and team were always responsive and timely in addressing any questions or issues that arose. We now have 3 beautiful bathrooms, thanks to Zion and his team.

Daniel Perez and his team did a great job on our Campbell condo remodel. We were under pressure to get the job done quickly so we kind of held our breath as we could see how busy he and his team were with many jobs. We were relieved that they got the job done and exceeded our expectations not only for timeliness but also for quality. We brought a few minor issues to his attention at the end of the job. He made the fixes promptly & with quality work. His prices are fair, he communicates very well via phone, text and email and overall is a pleasure to work with ! We recommend him highly.

I have to share another good story about Zion and brother&brother. In the middle of a day, one of the drywall anchor that's used to hang the curtain rod pulled out, for some reason. I messaged Zion immediately and wanted to get his opinion. After understanding the situation, without hesitate, he took the responsibility and sent out his folks on site to fix it. While I thought they're going to patch the hole and find a different place to install the anchors, they instead cutting the drywall and reinforce the whole thing with 2*4 to make sure same thing won't happen again! It's completely beyond my expectation and needless to say I'm more than happy about it.

Once again, what really differentiates Zion from other contractors I met is the impeccable customer service after the project has finished. You know you have someone who you can rely on. Highly recommended!

Zion and his team did a wonderful job with almost a whole house remodel with the kitchen being the main focus. The design and the creativity of ideas and options is what sets this company apart from others. On top of that, Zion is very accommodating and does his best to satisfy the customers needs even post completion of the project. Would highly recommend Brother and Brothers for any remodel project based on the value and quality of their work!

We had always planned to renovate our oddly-laid-out master bathroom, but a leak into our first floor accelerated the timeline and had us urgently searching for a contractor. Brother & Brother came highly recommended and was able to get the job started quickly. I appreciated their use of a WhatsApp group where Zion and the rest of the team immediately responded to any issues or inquiries. Also, their designers helped us find the finish materials at good prices, rather than pushing us to high-cost vendors. The outcome was a lovely bathroom we are very happy with, completed early, and zero surprise costs!
