Brother Movers

Having moved across 3 different apartments in the last 4 years during my stay in the Bay area, I've been on the lookout for a economical and reliable moving service. After my latest move with Brother Movers, I think I've found one for the long run :-).

Below are some positive aspects of my experience with them

Communication
I was able to ask them for a quote on Yelp. Kelly from their team was able to get in touch with me immediately and provided us with an extremely transparent quote in terms of time and price. I was able to jump on a quick call with Kelly on multiple instances to clarify any open ended questions.

Price
When I first hear their quotes, I was fairly certain that I'd misunderstood them given how low they were as compared to all other movers we'd spoken in the bay area. They charge 140$ per hour for 3 movers which includes moving and packing and this is by far the best quote you're going to observe for anyone who provides moving and packing services. In addition, they also provide moving boxes for 5$/ box and have a fixed charge for tips, which make the move so much simpler and affordable.

Service
On the day of the move, the team was right on time. They were able to complete our move within 4 hours (which again was absolutely unbelievable, given the amount of work they completed). In a nutshell, they disassembled all our furniture, packed the home in boxes, moved to the new place, assembled the furniture back again in a span of 4 hours. Throughout this process, the movers were friendly and professional and ensured no damage to any of our belongings.


Summary
If you're looking for a team of reliable, hyper-efficient, professional and economical movers, I'd highly highly recommend this team.

Moving is extremely tough but I'm super psyched to have found this team because I know that I'll be working with them for a lot of upcoming moves :-)

These movers provided the best moving service and experience we have ever had. They wrap furniture, pack, provide wrapping and packing material at no cost. They are friendly, kind, strong, and careful! They go the extra mile and are affordably priced by the hour! They are awesome!

This company is very easy to deal with and professional. They came on time actually a few minutes early which was perfect because we were ready. They came very prepared with garment bags,boxes, and everything we could have needed. Everything went great and I would definitely recommend this company and use them again if I needed to because they are affordable very professional and get the job done. 10 out of 10.

I reached out to Brother Movers once to get an initial quote, and once for a last minute reservation because my original movers did not have the right insurance.

We moved our items from NYC to SF via a U-Haul U-Box and Brother Movers went to the U-Haul site in SF to pick up our stuff from the Box.

Brother Movers were efficient, flexible, had extremely good insurance coverage, and provided a conservative quote estimate. I would not go with anyone else for any subsequent moves in and out of the Bay Area!

These movers provided the best moving service, pricing and experience I have ever had. Transparent and extremely reasonable upfront pricing. They supported me in assembling my new couch (I truly wasn't expecting it!) I used Brother Movers for my move within San Francisco. They use a messaging-based scheduling with prompt follow-up option via phone with text reminders, very thorough communication.

They wrapped my furniture, packed my clothing a to-go wardrobe with hangers so it was easy to put into the next closet, provided wrapping and packing material at no cost. They are friendly, kind, strong, and careful! They did not speak English but it was not an issue at all. They truly went above and beyond and are so affordably priced by the hour! I HIGHLY recommend!

I paid in cash and tipped them in cash as well although they do accept other means of payment such as Zelle. I am truly so grateful to have had such a stressful move made that much easier. Bravo, Brother Movers!!!

Fantastic, professional service! Mandy contacted me within 30 min of placing request on Yelp and helped setup the appointment. The quote provided was quite competitive. As recommended by other reviews, we setup early morning appointment with 3 movers. The appointment confirmation include detailed information on the payment breakdown which was helpful.

The movers were punctual in arriving at the appointment time. Having 3 movers helped make the moving efficient as we had 3 bedrooms of storage.

We were impressed with the movers' attention to detail throughout the move. Strongly recommend this service!

We hired Brother Movers for our move in the Bay Area in June. This was my first time hiring movers and they lived to my standard.

Brother Mover's quote was competitive among all the movers I inquired - they offer a flat rate truck fee and two movers, and they only required minimum two hours of moving.

The movers arrived on time and started wrapping our boxes and furnitures quickly. They wrapped everything in an hour. When they arrived to my new house, they provided carpets to prevent scratching the floor. They also re-assembled the furnitures for us.

Overall I was very happy with the price and service they offer!

Great service and super professional and efficient movers!! They come with all the tools needed and also help with reassembly of furniture.

The reviews aren't lying!

This was my first time using movers and I used them twice within a span of a few weeks.
All the reviews are accurate. most don't speak English but somehow we still managed to communicate. Cash payment. Pre move quote was exactly as expected, except for the actual hours worked. My first move was for a very very tiny apartment, I had 2 movers and no furniture were moved. Yet it took about 4.75 hrs despite having packed half of my stuff. This was also including the 40ish minute drive.
The second move included the stuff from the first move plus everything from a fully furnished 2bed/2bath apartment. Given that the first move took longer than expected, I asked for 4 moves instead of the usual 3 for this sized apartment. It still took them almost 11 hours from start to finish to pack up literally every single thing from the apartment and then unpack only SOME things (but definitely all the big stuff).

I will say they were extremely careful with moving, including a very very thin flat screen tv I never thought could be moved. But we also had the original box. The only thing is that some of my plastic bins, their covers, got cracked. Not a big deal, just a bummer.

Overall loved them. Will definitely use again
