Buckhorn

Neighborhood bars are not necessarily friendly if you are not local. This one is an exception. I have probably been here maybe four times and enjoyed it every time. Considering my expectations, I found the back shelf very well stocked. If you are watching where your money goes, it not going to go further than this place. BTW, to get to the parking lot go around the block by taking the street to the North. The only bad thing about it is that I don't get in to Volpi's enough now, which is another Petaluma bar well worth visiting.

Visited this bar a couple of times while I was working. I loved the bar and Franzie is a fantastic bartender.

Two firsts yesterday: being refused service/ kicked out" of a bar, AND being kicked out for having a service dog with us! The three stars are purely because the rest of the bartenders, especially Loral and the female bartender who is short with long beautiful curly hair, they are amazing! Love them!
The blonde working yesterday, however, was quite rude. Didn't ask if our service dog was indeed a service dog, just rudely said "nope nope. Out". Not to mention, as we were refused service due to a service dog, there was a large dog off leash running around the bar. Do better buckhorn! Really disappointed in the way she went about the situation

Well let's just the first time and every time I've ventured to the Buckhorn, I felt like family. Kind of like when Norm would walk into Cheers. Lately however I've been going on Saturday nights just to have a couple reasonably priced beers, and sing a song or two. It's worth it just see what outrageous outfit Scott Razor the karaoke host is wearing!!! GREAT SOUND!!!

Best dive bar in Petaluma! Friendly bar tenders and locals make it the perfect spot to have a few. Always a great time coming here!

The Buckhorn is one of Petaluma's best kept secrets. The bartenders are great and the drinks are wet. If you are looking for a fancy place then this is knot it. If you are looking for a local place where the working person goes, then this is the place for you.

Taxidermy, booze to go and over a hundred years of Petaluma. Reasonable prices and microwave burritos...what else could can you ask for in a dive bar?

You'll never go wrong st the Buckhorn, unless you're looking for snooty service and overpriced cocktails. Then you should definitely go elsewhere. If you like local folks, reasonably priced drinks and karaoke with the regulars, then you'll like the Buckhorn. I saw a totally unassuming dude sing Elvis like The King himself at the Buckhorn. Cool dive without the hipsters.

I wanted to like this bar but as per usual I ran into a plethora of d bags riveted to their phones. If you're interested in meeting really nice polite humanoids then this place rocks.

Solid local bar. Chill atmosphere and great bartenders. I drive a ways to get there since they open early and always are in a good mood no matter how early it is:)
