Budget & Save Painters

The Budget & Save Painters and Color Design team was amazing. Within a week, the amount of work they were able to accomplish was outstanding. Our new home was a horrendous, what I call "smokers yellow", matte finish colour, on everything (walls, ceiling trims, doors). We did not want to live in that colour and wanted and needed to change it immediately before we moved in.

It's difficult to find the time and money when you are a first time home buyer to do that, but Budget & Save Painters was keenly aware of those barriers and made sure we would have a high quality service for a fair price. They worked with us to make sure we were satisfied every step of the way. We will definitely be using them again in the future with some renos we have in mind.

I purchased a property in Vancouver and required a professional painting company to do our full interior painting and decorating . My realtor referred me to Kerry and the team at Budget & Save Painters.

Kerry and the team were extremely detailed and passionate in their work. Kerry made sure everything was covered properly furnishings, floors, appliances etc before the work proceeded. Kerry was also very accommodating and is very much detail oriented. He kept me updated each step of the way of the project, and the final payment was not paid until I was completely satisfied.

I am extremely impressed with the detail of work provided, and would not hesitate to recommend Kerry and Budget & Save Painters.

Kerry was fabulous to deal with! I had the most absolute wonderful experience with Kerry and his team. My husband and I just recently purchased a condo in downtown Vancouver and the walls were sterile white. I had 3 bedrooms, 1 master bath, a kitchen, living room and hallways that needed some color. After several quotes Kerry was the only one willing to work with my budget. Kerry and his designer also had some suggestions on color and ideas on accent walls. With multiple years of experience, I trusted both of their judgment.
Kerry was extremely meticulous with the prep work (washing and scraping) and put on 3 coats of paint. Kerry even threw in some extra work by offering to scrap and paint bathroom and kitchen baseboard areas that were neglected by the previous home owners.


To my surprise the job was done in 3-1/2 days while others quoted a week. Kerry pays attention to detail, is always on time, and is very honest. I'm so glad to have worked with him and his color designer. I would hire him for any future projects.

One of the best painters I have ever hired, detailed oriented, kept a clean work environment and was fairly priced. Kerry did much more than I hired him for. He provided a professional service and did not leave until I was completely satisfied with the work he provided. before he left his team cleaned the entire place.

Asked these folks to do a small job a few months back. Their quote was reasonable, but it took literally months to get the work done. Once "finished", it was like pulling teeth to get them to come and fix deficiencies (improper surface preparation--several months on, the new paint has cracked and bubbled over the old paint; globs of paint dripped onto unfinished concrete--drips can't be removed; missed first and second coats; food-item trash left behind in backyard, etc,). Kerry was the one who did most of the work, himself. In hindsight, they should have declined the opportunity to do the work because it seemed they had many other jobs on-the-go, and ours was just too small for them to care enough about.

Sure, things can go wrong on any job, but it's the manner in which a supplier solves such a problem that it the true test of their professionalism, reliability and service capability. Customer service was abysmal. I would NOT recommend this company under any circumstances.

Great company to work with. I had Budget & Save Painters come and paint my house and they did an amazing job!! I am so happy with my results. Kerry is super friendly and always available every team member I met were super professional and friendly and good quality people. I highly recommend working with this company. By far the best trades company I have worked with.

The work was just completed and it was professionally done. Communication with Kerry was very good and he was eager to see that we were happy with the work. As we are moving into a new condo, we were nervous about accidentally putting dings in the wall during our move and settling in. We were very happy to learn that Kerry was willing to come back and do touch ups over the next 6 months if that was the case.

I would not recommend this painter. First, Kerry said he would have a team, ended up painting whole inside of house by himself(took him much longer). Very unprofessional, leaving paint cans open overnight, many missed spots on walls and paint all over our carpet and hardwood, must have not used drop sheets. Also went over quoted price.

Budget & Save Painters have just finished painting all the walls in my newly-purchased condo. I'm very happy with the cost of the finished project and extremely pleased with the high quality of workmanship. Kerry went out of his way to make sure that I was happy with everything as the work was being done. He gave me suggestions to help me choose the perfect colour and explained how it would look in different rooms under different lighting. I absolutely love the colour I chose and it looks amazing in my condo. Kerry's workmanship is top-notch. I highly recommend Budget & Save Painting and will be telling my friends and my strata they can't go wrong by hiring this company. .
