I hired BV Electronics to replace old light fixtures and convert my switches to dimmers. Within 10 min of contacting them they got back to be and I was able to arrange an in-home evaluation within 2 days. I was able to schedule the work within a day of receiving the estimate. The two workers arrived on time. They were very courteous and worked quickly efficiently. I'm very pleased with all aspects of my interactions and the cost was very reasonable.

Second time I've used BV Electric. They installed two wall sconces this time. Their two guys showed up right on time down to the minute, got right to work and were done in 30 minutes. They were super-meticulous making sure the sconces were perfectly level and that I was satisfied.
They were cheaper than the last company I used, so I tipped them $20 for a great job. Thanks!

We paid BV Electric $825 for the replacement of 3 thermostats, 4 light switches to rocker and replace 12 halogen track lighting bulbs to LED. The BV person who did the estimate and electricians told us everything was possible. We showed BV the items we were going to purchase and the response was yes, everything will work. The 4 switches were wrong, the 2 track light dimmers needed to be replaced. After 3 hours and 2 employees and an additional charge of $250.00 the job was supposedly completed although one of the track lighting elements needed to be replaced.

Approximately four days later one of the new LED track light bulbs did not work. BV returned on Tuesday, August 27 and replaced the LED bulb. It appears the LED bulbs and the current track are not compatible, but BV Electric electricians assured us everything would work. Currently one track lighting component needs to add to the track so 4 lighting units are working.

Today when the BV electricians arrived they replaced the track lighting LED bulb which now works. I requested they look at the 2 Honeywell thermostats to change the digital from "C" to "F" and they seemed a bit confused. I told them to take the face plate off the there was a switch to move up or down to change from "C" to "F". I also requested the time be changed from 24 hour to 12/am/pm. The BV electricians stated this may not be possible. When they showed me the component panel where the dial to change from "C" to "F" there were 3 other switches and one indicated 24 hour. I suggested to the BV Electricians to move this switch and the thermostat now shows am/pm. When the client needs to instruct BV electricians on how to implement and configure electronic components it is not only ridiculous, but unacceptable, unprofessional and certainly does not deserve a diamond certification.

Certainly appreciated the expertise of BV Electric during a recent project to install an electrical line for a new sauna, which required intricate work over the roof. Despite their quote being on the higher end, their professionalism and detailed approach convinced me to engage their services. Communication was seamless, their professionalism was evident throughout the project, and the quality of work was exceptional. The team demonstrated respect for my property, maintaining cleanliness and order, and executed the installation flawlessly, including a disconnect box. Based on this experience, I would confidently recommend their services and would not hesitate to reach out to them for future projects.

BV installed recessed lighting in a 3-story stairwell in my home. They had a very competitive quote, the second lowest I believe, but more than anything, didn't seem phased at all about the challenging space and old wiring that I asked them to connect to. The job was done quickly and very professionally. I'm thrilled to finally have lighting on my stairs.

Late review but I scheduled an appointment in September of 2023 to troubleshoot my broken bathroom fan and they quoted me $169 per hour per electrician. I assumed one would come as it was just troubleshooting and not fixing anything but 2 arrived and I let them know I was quoted only for 1. They said it's a "law in California" to have 2 per job so I just agreed. I googled this "law" and it's an OSHA 2 worker rule BUT only for work on voltage more than 600 volts; a condo does not have more than 600 volts smh and the bathroom fan was 120volts.

Feel like I got scammed because I'm young and a woman and agreed because I needed my fan fixed but they basically did nothing except confirm it was broken and charged me $350. Couldn't even tell me a model to replace my fan with

I had the pleasure of hiring Rigo and Miga from BV Electric to install a light fixture in my home and I'm very happy with the result.

They arrived right on time, ready to tackle the task at hand. The installation itself was impeccable and they worked efficiently and with precision to adjust the light fixture to my preference.

After two missed appointments I gave up. They may very well do great work, but you need luck to get them to come to your house, apparently.

All is not finished yet, but so far I am very pleased. Hymie and his assistant came promptly and were able to diagnose the problem and know what needs to be done. They know what they are doing and don't waste time.

Saw these guys had great reviews on Yelp so decided to try and get a quote. They came out and gave us a fair estimate on replacing some old outlets at our new house. They didn't try and oversell us on something we didn't need and were very reasonable when giving us advice on moving forward.

The estimate came quick and I was able to schedule someone to come out quickly after that. On the day of the outlet replacement, they brought 3 people! So they were able to efficiently change the 7 outlets we needed replaced and were in and out in about an hour. They also offered some additional guidance about the wiring and outlets in our new home. The guys were all super nice and professional. They definitely did quality work.

Feeling much more comfortable now with the new electrical outlets. You definitely get what you pay for with BV Electric. I would hire them again!
