Extremely courteous and upbeat staff! I came to this place to install a CAT shield on my car awhile back and they did a fantastic job. They were very thorough with their notes and car inspections. That's definitely what you want out of a mechanic shop.

There's a deal till the end of the month for a free alignment if you purchase new shocks and struts from them with install. They use KYB struts and shocks, which is a highly reputable brand for those who are unfamiliar. For a daily driver, this is more than enough. I called Wednesday, was able to get scheduled in the following Monday, 5 days later. Dropped the car off at 8AM which took less than 5min. Got a call back around 2:15PM same day that my car was done. Picked it up, paid, and this process took less than 10min.

The thing I love about C&T is how thorough they are, as mentioned earlier. They take the time to inspect the vehicle and note anything strange. This information is then passed onto the customer once they pick up their car. They even found a loose screw that was creating a small brake fluid leak in one of my calipers and they tightened and cleaned it up without my prior knowledge. Thank you so much! Even the slightest sounds the car makes, they will inspect and find the source without you having to ask. This is what the community needs, a great Toyota mechanic that is honest, straightforward, and thorough. Keep up the excellent work!

Chris and team are the best. You usually do not associate honest and the concept of integrity with auto mechanics and servicing, but C&T is a class apart.

We moved northwards, closer to the city, yet we still prefer to take our car down to San Mateo. They know Toyotas and often try to save you $$ by not recommending expensive add-on's, and if your servicing reveals some issues, they repair it at a reasonable price.

Bottomline, just like your doctor, you need someone who is honest, gives it to you straight and has your best interests in mind. Chris and his team are the doctors for your car who you can trust!

C&T took care of my sons 1996 Toyota Forerunner after he overheated the engine and caused some serious damage. Chris was up front with me the it would take some time to basically re-build the engine and make a few other repairs, including replacing the radiator, timing belt, and fix an oil pan leak. All was fixed in a relatively short time and the Forerunner runs like new again, even though it has 250k miles on it!!

I had to get my routine 60K maintenance for my Lexus NX. The dealer was estimating almost 1K. I had all maintenance done plus front brake pads replaced for cheaper total. Chris is efficient and an honest mechanic. Highly recommend!

This review is overdue. Chris installed a very secure CAT shield on my 2012 Prius this past summer along with performing an overdue service. I really appreciated Chris's transparency on the the installation and servicing costs. His work is high quality and dealing with Leslie on scheduling, costs, and pick up was delightful. Good quality shop that is focused on Toyota & Lexus cars! Chris was quick to provide quotes and was able to answer all the questions I had. I was able to schedule an appointment a few days later to have some of my fluids replaced on my Lexus IS250. The price was fair and the shop is spacious and clean. Will definitely contact them again for my next service. Don't hesitate to use this shop!

I am very impressed with this business. I was looking for a reputable auto mechanic for my new Lexus. C&T Automotive has very high online reviews, so I called them to make an appointment. After speaking with Chris, I was able to get my car in quickly. They did a great job on my Lexus, for a low price that was the same as the estimate. Chris and his staff were very friendly as well. It looks like I have found my new mechanic!

As with many other companies the last few years, customer service has deteriorated. Good workers, fair prices but respecting loyal customers should come first, Thinking of taking my families 3 cars elsewhere. Loyal patrons for 8 yrs.

After high incidences of catalytic converters being stolen at work and knowing my cousin's catalytic converter get stolen in broad day light in her parent's neighborhood, I wanted to invest in a shield. I know it's not foolproof, but it's a deterrent that will give me some peace of mind.

I reached out for price estimates and Chris was so quick to respond. The prices were reasonable, so I made an appointment. Everything was easy to set up. Leslie was very professional and friendly. I dropped my car off in the morning and picked it up after lunch. These guys are experts. I can tell they do this all the time because their process is so streamlined.

I've had issues in the past with shops being unfamiliar with my car since it's a Prius. Knowing this is their specialty has reassured me to want to come back for future car maintenance and issues!!

Update: Just had my car serviced yesterday & I am always appreciative of the wonderful & friendly service that Chris, Leslie & their staff provide. Chris is always so helpful, whether I have a question, he always takes the time to answer, or whether I need a ride back to work, Leslie always takes the time out of her schedule 2 accommodate me. They are honest, dependable, professional & just plain good and friendly folks!
