Outstanding customer service is always appreciated and when it continues as a result of manufacturers defects that beyond factory warranty that is truly rare. C&V offered me a 90 day warranty for a used appliance and my previous post was about outstanding service when the freezer was not working properly. The second visit by the same technician, Alvaro is awesome, had him say that this particular model is known to have an unreliable compressor. I figured that being the case, Alavaro might be back a few more times during my warranty period and that was not good for anyone. I phoned Rigo and suggested we split the difference on a replacement and he agreed. The very day the replacement arrived at his shop he called to inform me it would be installed. When I got home I was surprised that Alavaro was not the technician, I introduced myself and to my surprise it was Rigo. He came to install the new compressor because Alvaro was already scheduled out for the day and he didn't want us to wait another day. Not only did he replace the compressor he installed a better fan for cool air flow. To top it off, he refused to split the cost of the compressor!

C&V also has some new appliances on hand. They happened to have a dishwasher that fits our needs, and were able to deliver and install on schedule.

Installation was efficient and service is very professional.

I found a good deal on a washer-dryer set for my kid who just moved to a new place that had room and a hook-up for that. The delivery also went very smoothly. C&V has a wide selection of appliances. If you are looking for a good deal you can find something here.

Needed to replace my 16 year old gas stove with a newer looking one to sell my house. I didn't want to break the bank and C&V was the perfect place to achieve this.

I was able to find a stainless steel Frigidaire stove for $450 and negotiated it down to $400 due to minor cosmetics.

$50 to deliver (San Mateo), install, and haul away the old stove. What a deal!!
Paid cash and it was $450 out the door.

Delivery was good. Only issue was delivery was scheduled from 1-3pm and stove came at 3:30pm. Would have appreciated better communication on delivery day but all in all, very smooth delivery.

Would definitely recommend this place. Inventory comes in and out so you need to keep your eyes open if you are looking for something specific. Great business.

My fiancé and I just purchased a new house in Alameda and wanted to get a new washer/dryer. We found the exact model (new) we wanted at C&V and when I reached out, they responded almost instantly and even decided to waive the delivery fee (they're located in Hayward!) because we're new homeowners, so I found that to be really kind!

Our delivery went seamlessly - the two movers had to lug the stacked washer/dryer up two flights of stairs and they were honestly so impressive! Worked as a good team, didn't hit a single wall, even with some tight navigation points in the house.

Install went well, everything seems to be working well so far, and I'm glad there's a year warranty on the appliance. Overall I'm greatly satisfied!

Place was great for used apliances we purchased top of the line washer and dryer plus refrigerator for an outstanding price plus covered for 1 year guarantee and if they broke they changed for a never model avilable

After much research, I learned that older washing machines are much better bets than buying new ones. (Ask any repair person.) They do a better job and don't break down. But if they do, much cheaper to repair. I'm enthusiastically recommending this shop. A pleasure to text with (communication in English by phone was a little hard for me). They gave me a great machine 20-year old Whirlpool machine for $300. Working well for months. I'm in San Francisco, but no problem to get service here. Cheers to small businesses that do good honest work and don't charge SF prices :-)

My senior citizen mother and I had bought a refrigerator and was given the best and nicest service by Edgar.

What's more is that when mother was not able to receive the refrigerator they gave us a last minute refund-- no questions asked! We'll definitely be back for all our future appliances needs.

I needed a washer and dryer quickly. C&V had a set that they advertised as "like new", and they were. I got a great deal on them, and they delivered and installed for free! I bought them late on Friday afternoon, and they delivered them on Monday. I'll definitely be going back there for any appliance needs! Thanks C&V!
