A delightful little spot with excellent pastries and a fun selection of drinks.
Immediately drawn to the light, plant-filled atmosphere of this place.
We grabbed a spinach and feta strudel and chocolate croissant. Both were utterly buttery.
We got a latte and an guava matcha. The guava matcha was so aesthetic, with the layer of matcha sitting on top of the guava syrup, which added just the right amount of sugar and tang.
Would definitely try this place again :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 29, 2024
Pistachio strawberry croissant was very yummy. Iced mocha was very good as well. Small shop but has good amount of seating. Good service and definitely recommend. Unfortunately, I tried this one my last day visiting Vancouver so will definitely be back to visit soon.

One of the best coffee shops! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I have to say their latter oat milk is one of the best coffees I've had. Nice vibes inside as well

Great place for a quick breakfast. Got BLT and was surprised it also had an egg in it, nice touch and extra hearty healthy protein. The staff are really nice there. The place felt calm and seemed very clean.

One of my favourite coffee shops downtown! It's such a cute and cozy little place. The most notable thing here is the unique drinks, but all the food is really good as well. The tuna and veggie paninis are quality (the veg panini can be made vegan by replacing cheese and mayo with hummus, both versions are good). The paninis come with a little side salad of mixed greens - nothing special, but it rounds out the meal. I haven't tried much from the baked good selection but they have this top-tier strawberry pistachio croissant with a baked crunchy pistachio top layer and pistachio cream and strawberry filling that has to be one of best-conceived baked goods I've had the privilege of enjoying, and I'm not even much of a croissant person.
For drinks, they have the usual selection of coffee/tea and also specialty lattes like Okinawa tea latte, ube latte, strawberry matcha, hojicha, black sesame cream latte... some of these are seasonal, some are fixtures. The flavours are wonderful and as a bonus they're pretty too. I appreciate the staff always checking to see if I want my drink sweetened and listening to my customization requests!
Finally the baristas are always smiling and are so nice! As mentioned above, they pay attention to the details when taking my order. They bring your food and drinks to your table when dining in. It's rare to find such consistently pleasant service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 7, 2020Previous reviewI previously had a wonderful experience at their Main St location so I thought I would show them some support at their new downtown location which is currently open for takeout and delivery. I got a veggie panini and an Okinawa tea latte. The panini was really nice with the zucchini and peppers cooked to the perfect softness without losing their freshness and that good gooiness from the cheese and garlic mayo. It also wasn't too greasy like this type of sandwich is prone to getting. It came with a small side salad and small cup of marinara sauce which I thought was interesting. I was really excited to try the Okinawa tea latte since it's a bit of an unusual menu item and I'm happy to say it lived up to expectations. It definitely had the characteristic black sugar taste but without being too sweet which was nice.
Since they're not open for dine-in currently it's hard to say what the cafe environment is usually like, but the location seems like it would be a pleasant place to sit and chill out on a nice day, with the windows allowing for lots of natural light. The place was spotless when I visited and the overall aesthetic is neat and open, and the music they were playing was also soothing. The staff who gave me my order were very nice. - Carlos H.Tampa, FLJan 5, 2024
Staff shifts quite a bit, but its a nice little cafe with quite a bit of coffee options and pastries/food right next to our Airbnb in Vancouver. I love that they have espresso tonics (Americano Fizz) and its quite good here. The lattes are alright. I liked their matcha strawberry drink. Wi-Fi is solid, there's a few plugs, and the staff there is pretty friendly.
It gets pretty busy and packed so the vibe can become a little tense inside at times with so many customers, but that's not a bad problem for a local business to have.
Overall, a good local option that is pretty consistent and open most days.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elmer P.Los Angeles, CAOct 1, 2023
I come here for over a year now, but somehow still getting disappointed lately. When asked for a decaf I get a regular. Now you probably going to tell me how do I know the difference, easy high blood pressure when I get regular coffee. All I am asking is for your staff to be careful. Customer ask decaf for a reason ( could be medical or can't handle caffeine)

Cute little Cafe. Staff are friendly, good atmosphere, cute decor and comfortable seating area. Great place to do some work and meet friends.
I had the Okinawa Latte. It was so good. I recommend it.
I would definitely like to come back to try other menu items.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 5, 2023
Such a cute cafe with delicious drinks! I had the matcha latte with oat milk and you can have the option to have it unsweetened. My friend had the Okinawa latte which was more on the sweet side but very delicious as well! We also tried the matcha tart. The filling for the matcha tart was a bit thin on top of the crust but overall had a great matcha flavor and wasn't overly sweet. The staff was also very friendly. Great spot to study or meet up with friends!

Ambiance looked nice in pictures of the google reviews but in reality it's not as nice. It has potential but is not well maintained. Plants look very sad and depressing as they're mostly dying. Some decorations are leftover from winter holidays, window seals are covered with dust, tables aren't cleaned and floors aren't swept. The service was quick, however the drinks were mediocre, barely able to feel the taste of coffee through all the extra sugar and syrup... better than average big corporate coffee shops but definitely not worth more than 1 star. We requested a drink with substitute milk but received it with regular milk. When asked the staff they said they remember it clearly they made it with non dairy milk. Well, I had severe reaction to dairy afterwards.
