Another satisfied customer!

Cal-Line had the lowest quote and they removed a 50' Ash tree and trimmed 35' off another Ash tree in my front yard in about 3 hours.

I asked one of the workers if I could use the hole that the stump was removed from to plant another tree and he proceeded to dig with his hand into the hole. I was surprised that the hole was not superficial but rather about 24"-30" deep. They exceeded my expectations.

We'll use Alejandro and his crew in the future.

Damaged my equipment, won't respond to any calls or texts regarding the $1400 in broken glass from stump grinding. Called Alejandro regarding the damage, said he would speak with his guys and not a call or text since. Highly unprofessional and unfortunate that a company's true colors come out when they won't stand behind their work


Update: your lack of ability to take responsibility for your crew's actions is quite sad, and the customer that was "happy" is quite disappointed in your company's communication in the matter as well. I appreciate how you will respond to a review but not a text or phone call. When there are rocks and wood chips all over my equipment inside and out with broken glass, it doesn't take a mathematician to put what happened together,

Requested they take down (to the ground) two trees: an old plum tree (that doesn't produce enjoyable fruit) infested with parasitic ivy, and an unhealthy persimmon that hadn't produced fruit in a few years and was in the way of other projects.

Work and cleanup was quick and high quality, fees were inexpensive.

Overall a very good result. I'm very happy.

We have used Cal-Line 3 times this year for fallen oak tree limbs. They are quick to respond, reasonably priced and very efficient in getting the work done.
I would recommend them for any tree work that needs to be done.

After getting few quotes on a tree trimming project I decided to go with Cal-line. They were prompt in coming to the site, giving a formal quote, finishing the job on-time and doing it right. Most others tried to nickel and dime on every little thing, which I hate.

Oak tee fell on a rainy Saturday blocking the street. They showed up in 24 minutes and gave me a quote. It was less than half the price of the other quote I got. I gave them the green light and they started work 40 minutes later. The road was clear in less than an hour and all clean and perfect in a couple hours, less than four hours from my first call. Couldn't be happier. Also very nice and professional.

Alejandro and team did fantastic and quick work. The request was to clear out my side yard which was very over grown with shrubs and had multiple trees. His quote was very fair and include stump grinding as well as hauling away the debris. They did quick work and everything was finished in more or less a day as he promised. Would recommend for any tree removal/yard clean up.

I needed to remove a dead tree from our yard that was right next to the property line. I obtained 4 quotes:
Company 1: $2200 (but I later found out are not insured)
Company 2: $2440 (needed access to my neighbor's yard and scheduling was 3-4 weeks out)
Company 3: $2250
Cal-Line: $1800

I made the mistake of giving the previous 2 quotes' details to Company 3, but after I let them know I was going with Cal-Line, they offered $1700. Cal-Line then matched at $1700.

Cal-Line came out the following week and did a fantastic job! Our job was pretty complicated and involved getting in a tight space between the fence and a decorative wall. All the tree pieces needed to be carefully lowered down by rope. The 3-person crew finished in about 2 hours and cleaned everything up. I am really impressed and would definitely use them again!

As being a repeat customer, this is the best tree care company out there . Reasonable price and reliable service! Will recommend to my friends

Alejandro came quickly when I called for an estimate. We are having another backyard project that the main crew is working on the weekdays. So, I decided to do it with Alejandro because he can do the job on the weekend.

Here are the issues...

Careless: Alejandro came 2 days before to check on the job site and gave me an estimate, so then he should've known that the area had limited access and parking on the hills side. On the work day his crew came with 4 very big trucks but only one truck was used for my job. The 4 trucks were completely blocking 6 of my neighbors driveway and blocking the access for all the neighbors who needed to turn in the cul de sac.

Didn't show up: Alejandro wasn't here when his crew started to work and I called and texted him many times with no response. No job site supervisor. The crew didn't know the scope of work at all. I had to start brief them again but they don't understand English. Alejandro supposed to show up with them to tell them what to do and be on the site.

Lack of safety: his crew cut the large branches without using any rope to hold onto it. Some of his crew need to run away from the tree branch that being cut and fell down. When I saw how they worked I had to hurry reaching out to my neighbor whose backyard was right next to the tree. Had to warn them that do not let their kids come out to their backyard at this time. This induced anxiety and worried me and my neighbors

No knowledge: his crew has no knowledge about how to cut an Oak tree. It wasn't pruned properly. They weren't intentional and thoughtful of which limbs they cut this will cause stress to the tree later on.

Disrespectful: his crew blew leaves and dust into my neighbors house. It made a mess of their entire backyard and the crew didn't even clean up after. I had to go apologize and clean up the mess for them myself.

Unprofessional: his crew took the tools that belonged to another contractor who left the tools on their day off. Bring your own! You shouldn't ever use somebody else's tools without permission.

Alejandro showed up 3 hours later when I told his crew to stop the work. Then he was defensive about the entire situation and asking me for a check. I paid him in half because I wanted him to leave but I won't pay anything more because the job is not complete. I have to hire a certified arborist to check on my tree and have another company complete this job.
