Calco Gasoline

I went and got my BBQ propane tanks refilled. I brought 2 of them and it was $44 out the door for both, so $22 per tank with tax included.

The attendant was helpful and nice, and we got it done really quick. I was happy with the service and really can't ask for anything else. I used to drive a lot farther because I didn't know this one existed, so I'm happy that I found a new closer place for about the same price.

I like this gas station because of it's location, car wash (don't use the touchless option as it doesn't do a good job) , and cheap gas price.
However, this is the second time my Debit card got hacked at that station. I'm sure They have skimmers at the pumps. Pay inside with cash if you go here

BEWARE of USING YOUR DEBIT CARD HERE!!!

This has always been our go to gas station due to convenient location and lowest gas prices.

But after having our debit card information jacked from here 3 times in the past 2 months, have been avoiding this place, as apparently it is an easy mark for this type of fraud.

Also, these 3 incidences weren't the first time this has happened. We always suspected it might be this gas station when it has happened before, but confirmed when we got a replacement card that had not been swiped anywhere else.

Weird that the jacked card info. always get used in the same places in SoCal, too.

If you continue to go here, use cash. The agony of replacing a debit card twice in month isn't worth the lower gas price they offer.

Forget about it. Stopped by for gas and a car wash. After trying to pay at the pump, I needed to go inside to be able to get a receipt. The car wash was less than useless. No suds just sprayed with water. Would have gotten a cleaner car by just spraying it with my garden hose.

A 49 cent fee to pay outside isn't advertised anywhere. The gas is advertised by cash or credit but when paying the fee comes up.

I used to come here for years because of the cheap gas. Coming here recently, they changed all their card reader, touch and go is available. I actually came here yesterday, got gas, was right next to the car while it was filling and gas started to spill out of the tank!!! At least half a gallon was on my car and on the floor. I notified the older man attendant who was a little round and he said "oh that's gas on the floor? Okay thanks for letting me know." Awful service. Never coming back.

I always fill my propane tanks here as well as do smog checks on my vehicles. I've done brakes here once as well. All-in-all, this place has taken care of my needs and fuel prices are reasonable.

One tip is don't pay for touch-less car wash, it does virtually nothing. The other car washes are effective.

Convenient gas station on Santa Teresa and Cahalan! Next to a run down plaza but it's prices are fairly cheaper than most brand name gas stations. Also a bonus that there is a $1 discount on all car wash services with purchases of 8gallons or more. There's also a shop for tune up, brakes, oil change and filter but I have yet to use their services yet. Overall OK gas station for locals!

Skimmers at Calco, it happened to me! I've been going to Calco for over 20 years without a problem. Went to the carwash in early May 2021. Four days later charges started appearing on my credit card. Somebody in New York City was using my card # for Uber rides. Immediately called my credit card company and cancelled the card. But two more charges made it through, three total. All Uber rides in New York City. Got all three charges reversed, totalled over $400. But it was a pain.
I still go to Calco to buy propane, but pay with cash. Will never use a credit card there again. Maybe the chip is safe but don't use the insert or swipe magnetic strip method. YOU WILL BE SKIMMED! It happened to me and will happen to YOU.

DO NOT BUY GAS HERE!!! ALL OF THE GAS PUMPS HAVE CREDIT CARD SKIMMERS ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! Every member of my family had his/her credit card stolen from here and had to file fraud claims with the bank.
