      We've used Cannon Appliance for both of our sub-zero fridges and they have been great. The only issue I would say I had was getting someone on the phone when I called...maybe b/c they are so busy? But once you do get them on the phone, they do their best to assist you in providing the most appropriate fix, whether it is advice on diy or providing you with a range of options with an estimate in costs. And in comparison to other appliance companies, they are competitive overall in their prices, especially if you consider the overall work and security of Cannon's work and professionalism. The worst is when you research a price for an appliance part and find out that the part only costs a couple of dollars and find out that the company charged you a couple of hundred dollars for a 10 min job!! What the??

      It's never a positive experience calling a company b/c one of your appliances is on the fritz however, working with Cannon makes it less painful.

      This is no longer the Cannon Appliance that i knew & trusted for years. Sadly, they sold to this Heises Plumbing in SF and well, the change is very noticeable. I called for service on my refrigerator; the soonest they could get there they told me, was two weeks. Ok, i'll deal with it. Three days before they were supposed ti show up, they called me to reschedule. Another day or two, right. NO. They put me back at the end of the line, had to wait ANOTHER two weeks. Finally got the repair done - the guy was nice enough and competent - but labor charge was 50% higher than what Cannon charges PLUS ridiculous surcharges on parts and SF city BS. Needless to say, time to find another appliance service.

      Called Cannon to repair our clothes dryer which wasn't drying clothes completely. The wait time was a week but because of past experience I wasn't going to call any other company. They partnered with Heises Plumbing out of San Francisco and the service was as expected. They were on time, correctly diagnosed the problem and had the needed parts (2). 30 minutes later we were drying our clothes like before. Sometimes you just have to wait for good service. Thank you Cannon Appliance and Heises Plumbing!

      I had cannon come out to fix a problem with the ice delivery system on my freezer. There was a delay for parts/they moved their shop, The diagnosis was spot on and once the parts arrived the repair took an hour. Their technician John was totally professional and really pleasant to deal with. Would use Cannon again for any other repairs.

      I've gotten Tom's help more than once to fix my fridge. He'll work with you to help you get your problem fixed. I recommend him.

      If you want old fashioned, honest customer service, this is your place. I recently worked with Tom and Evette and I couldn't be happier with their timeliness and follow through on our washer repair.

      Sad to say, not such a good review here. The business has been sold. Had a nice young man show up right on time, but he did not seem to know what to do as he was on the phone with someone else telling him what to do the whole time he was here. Had to order a part, came back and installed the new part, and he told me when he left that it might not work and we might need to order another, more expensive part if this one did not work. Well, as projected, the first part did not fix the problem. When I called to report the problem, I was advised that it would be quite expensive to order the new part and install, and I might want to consider just ordering a new dishwasher. I asked if I would be credited for the time and part I ordered and was told that the part worked for 5 days so, no. When I asked why the first fix did not work, the response was "I don't know". So, I cut my losses ($275) and purchased a new dishwasher.

      I have a Speed Queen washing machine that developed a small leak underneath. I waited for over 2 weeks for an appointment as they were heavily booked. Tom arrived and spent about 1 hour in diagnosing the issue. He did not find any issue with the washing machine and felt it was that water had collected behind the drum when it wasn't centered correctly. Tom was professional and l was relieved that my washing machine did not have any issue even though this cost me $255 to find out nothing was wrong.

      I don't usually write reviews, but Cannon Appliance deserves the respect. I called when my dishwasher broke, and they got right back to me and connected me to Tom who was very knowledgeable about the problem, but also (understandably) very busy. Tom told me things on the phone that helped me to identify that the problem was a failed pump, and was willing to come out to fix for a fair price but was not available for a week. Because, Tom saw that I am a bit handy (and I had already diagnosed some aspects of the problem myself) he encouraged me that if I needed the repair sooner, I could replace the motor myself, and then helped me to get the right part number for my washer and order the pump. Now I have repaired the washer myself, and Tom did not charge me anything for his critical input. I will certainly return to Cannon for any appliance problems in the future!
