2/19/2019: Capitol Kirby is righteously AWESOME! I'm so elated Charles repaired my G3 Kirby upright vacuum as BRAND NEW!

Shame on me for not tuning up my G-3, since 2K but, oh, well: It was worth every penny spent having Charles overhaul, repair, clean, and replace the belt inside my vacuum. Now, operating the G3 sounds smooth and the belt drive just easily glides over the carpet, tile, and wood flooring whereas before repairing, operating the G3 was an arduous, unhappy task vacuuming my house.

Just watch and listen to my G3 in operation via the video I shot: Simply amazingly smooth! I can't thank Charles enough for repairing my G3 Kirby!

Impressively, the G3 Kirby appears BRAND NEW as if, I just bought it! Wow~Surely, if, the G3 needs another overhaul, I'll make sure I'll visit Capitol Kirby and Charles, AGAIN!

I have brought my Kirby in 2, maybe 3 times in last few years and was always greeted with a smile. I unfortunately cannot recall his name, I believe he is the owner, such a kind man.
He has helped me trouble shoot what is wrong, shown me how to change the belt. Although it failed to stick..hence the repeat visits.
This will always be my go to shop for when I need Kirby repairs!

In today's society companies make this so that they break in a few years only to sell you another version with slight upgrades. The Kirby I have is 25 years old. It was working really well until recently it started making a funny noise.

I took it to Capital Kirby to get it serviced and within a minute he was able to diagnose the problem of a broken fan. Since the Kirby wasn't serviced for about 20 years I decided to get it serviced and have the fan replaced.

Capitol Kirby took apart my vacuum and cleaned out the motor/insides, repaired my broken fan, cleaned the bag, installed a new bag, installed a new belt, and polished the metal so it had a mirror finish. For the fraction of the cost of a new Dyson, I was able to totally refurbish my vacuum.

I can not recommend this business enough. The gentleman that helped me, Charles was such a helpful delight that I felt immediately compelled to write a glowing review to thank him. Capitol Kirby has been around since the 60's and with this kind of service, I can see why. They offered to check out my Kirby vacuum for free and I was given a helpful tutorial as he worked. If you have a Kirby or are thinking about getting one, this is the place to go for a service or to pick up any bags, belts, shampoo etc. that you can't find in stores. Capitol Kirby just won another loyal customer.

4/30/2019 I arrived late at Capital Kirby.
Charles asked what can I do for you.
I replied, my Kirby stopped working.
He took my kirby from the back of my car and open up the shop.
I filled out a form. Charles call me the next day and said my Kirby is
ready for pick-up. He clean some bushings and it works like new.
He only charged $10.00 labor service.
This is the place to come if your vacuum is not working.
I highly recommend Charles at Capital Kirby.

Bought a second hand Kirby from Craigslist and called Capitol Kirby for a quick check. Charles was extremely pleasant, helpful and fair in the pricing; never felt pressured to purchase more than I absolutely needed. Been a fan of Kirbys for decades and Charles's technical abilities and customer service will inspire me to remain a loyal customer and referral source!

Charles is AWESOME !! I brought my Kirby in to be serviced. I got it back in a couple of days. I was surprised to see he even polished the metal and it looked like I just purchased it. He did an awesome job. There was one time I was shampooing my rugs with the Kirby attachments and couldn't figure out why the power wouldn't stay on, I called and left a message saying I was going to have to bring it in. He called me back and asked if I had the water reservoir locked in position I checked and that was the problem. He's so super helpful. Not only that he is a great storyteller! Really nice guy and super knowledgeable of Kirby products inside and out!! Thanks Charles! This is my go to to take care of my vacuum cleaner!
