Captain Kirk's San Francisco Sailing

Wow wow wow.. By far the best private boat sailing company ever. I called so many boat companies in San Francisco to throw my sister a surprise 30th birthday party. I called 5 or 6 different places, I couldn't find a company to accommodate the number of guest, (10 women) time/date of sail and budget. I had one last place to call "Captin Kirks San Francisco sailing". I was already discouraged but I said "hey, why the hell not". I spoke with a women named Sue, what a gem this women is. She picked up, sounded so welcoming and humble. I spoke to her in a stressed voice wanting to make sure this special day comes true for my sister since it was cutting it close. Sue tried her best to get me something since it was a week before her birthday. Sue mentioned most of the boats were booked but had a smaller boat that maybe can work. Since it was a week away how can I complain? I took it! I later called Sue and to my surprise Sue was able to get me a bigger boat to fit more people at the most perfect time to sail. it was beyond perfect, I was so grateful. I made the payment and received all my information in an email including my captin's name and number, location, parking etc. made it so easy I can do this every weekend!

So comes the day, I have all my sisters friends meet me at pier 40 while we wait for my sister to arrive. I called Captin Dogen to see if we can get the girls on the boat before my sister arrives, he happily agreed and automatically became part of the surprise. As we arrived to the Ospray boat Captin Dogen and Doug introduced themselves Dogen gave us information and documentation, guy really knew his stuff, very knowledgable. Made me trust him right away! We all were impressed.

So the girls get on the boat and hid in the cabin until my sister arrived. As she made her way down on the boat, down the latter to the cabin everyone yelled, "SURPRISE"! It- was-amazing.

Before setting sail Captin Dogen gave us a briefing in the cabin so we know what to expect. How to put things down, what to grab on, life jackets etc..Again more awesomeness.

Then We set sail......man, if only I can perfectly describe the feeling. It was like complete freedom. Warm Wind blowing in our faces, the red sky, the view, the water hitting against the boat, the company, the captin's, the boat, ..

if you want an unforgettable experience don't even waste your time looking elsewhere. They have something special going on. 10 stars but Yelp only allowed me 5.

Captain Kirk's Group was fantastic from start to finish. I went into this experience very blind as I had never chartered a boat before and I wanted to surprise my husband for his Birthday. The team was the fastest too respond to me first off. Sue was amazingly helpful with all my booking question and needs. Also, due to an airline outages I was afraid the birthday boy wasn't going to make it, Sue was super understanding and offered to rebook if we needed, luckily we did not and went as scheduled but it made me have more trust in their team that they offered.

Captain Efe and Brenden were awesome! They kept everyone safe and made sure we had fun. I believe everyone in our party ended up having a conversation with them while on the boat. They made sure the fun times didn't stop and took us all around the bay and made sure we had the best view for the sunset and the moon rise. Cant thank them enough for an unforgettable trip! I would 100% recommend this team to anyone!

Starting with the communication at the very beginning of the scheduling, Sue was great. Prompand helpful. We went out yesterday with Efe and Ruby. They were a very talented and charming duo who made the experience so nice! There were 12 of us on the boat. We all wore life vests. We brought food and beverages for a picnic on the bay. We went by Alcatraz, around Angel Island, and said hello to Tiburon and Sausalito as we headed to the GG Bridge before heading back. It was a gorgeous day! We saw a porpoise, plenty of cormorants, seagulls, and pelicans, all while enjoying the scenery and conversations. I got a little sick, and they were so quick to help me get past the nausea. Everything was wonderful. I'd recommend this boat and crew to anyone wanting a special outing. Thanks Efe and Ruby for the memories (and pictures)!

Yesterday Captain Kirk provided an epic sail-by grand entrance for my wedding at Sausalito's Spinnaker Restaurant. My wife and I shared an amazing evening aboard Captain Kirk's Sea Wolf. We were able to take amazing pictures with Sausalito and San Francisco in the background.

We had an absolutely amazing cruise with Captains Kirk and Efe. We had high expectations, and the cruise exceeded all of them. Sailing on a yacht that has crossed the Atlantic with two amazing captains - we felt SO safe and that allowed us to have the best sail EVER on the Bay. Thank you Kirk and Efe!

Celebrating my friend Dave's birthday on the bay. In a 50 foot yacht and a nice three hour tour. It was a little windy and choppy but the boat was handled so well I enjoyed every minute of it. A little food in the form of a bowl of mixed nuts and small sandwiches and champagne. Lots of communication regarding where to sit if you need more blankets where we were going and lots of fun conversations.

WOW! I booked an offsite for my leadership team of SVP and VP level leaders. The service level from this entire team is TOP NOTCH! We booked the Angel Island trip and planning with Sue was a joy. Sue took the time to listen to all of the needs of my team and she partnered flawlessly with the crew, Captian Kirk and the catering team to create an AMAZING customized experience for my team. The lunch and hike on Angel Island was incredible and the boat ride back from Angel Island was exhilarating! My team is thrilled with this experience and I am so grateful to have partnered with Captian Kirk's for this amazing experience.

Had an INCREDIBLE time with Efe (captain for Osprey)- took my husband and some friends out for a birthday sail- Efe and crew made us feel so welcome and safe and we saw the most beautiful views of SF and Marin - also saw lots of incredible wildlife! Highly recommend to everyone!! also got to bring our dog on the boat :)

Have sailed with Captain Kirk's three times, and on all three boats. They provided my groups with a fantastic experience every time and I will not hesitate to sail with them again.

Highly recommend for an ash scattering experience. My family and I took out a boat from Sausalito to past the GG Bridge to scatter my dad's ashes. From the booking (with Sue) to the excursion with Captain Efe, everything was as easy as can be--professional, respectful, and shall I say, heart-led.

The booking experience was smooth as can be--quick response, fair and transparent pricing, and exactly as discussed. The recommendation for scattering flower petals after the ashes was a great idea--beautiful and the perfect final touch.

Special thanks to the Captain Kirk team for making the rescheduling process painless when we were hit with a very rainy forecast for our originally scheduled date.

Great communication, easy to work with, on time. Once we were all on board, they explained things well, were very considerate, made the day super fun. Would highly recommend!
