Very good sushi - fresh, tasty, medium size. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and was amazed by the delicate taste and the oomphy size of the filling. Love that there is no day-old deep fried "stuff" as in the other sushi joints in our 'hood! Love the ginger which is not dyed flourescent pink! I think I love Carp!

Just a lovely sushi-maker behind the counter, chatting with the customers. Rolls are served on mid-century melmac. Choose a bento box to take home for your supper - the cooler has a small assortment of to go, including ratatouille.

An amazing little gem in the neighborhood. The fish is fresh and the rice is perfectly cooked. Their gomae and miso are delicious and unique as well --they stood out even more than the poke itself!

The staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and has a cool vibe!

Very friendly staff at this Japanese owned sushi restaurant. Service was extremely quick and there are a few tables to sit inside. I got the mango roll, the tuna poke roll, the candied salmon roll, and the crunchy prawn roll. Seafood was fresh and the rolls were not bad but felt it was a bit pricey. A good place for sushi when in the neighborhood!

Alright, I'm totally a laggard. Finally tried the Poke bowl at this down to earth spot.

It was perfect for lunch and the bites between all those pieces of tuna and avocado were just very pleasing. Not too much sesame oil like other places.

Would love to return to try the cones and curry. And probably ahi tuna too.

I've only been here twice now but it's becoming one of my favourites. The food is so tasty! Service is quick and friendly. I'm obsessed with the gomaae. Highly recommend. Heads up: there's not a lot of seating so go solo or with one companion.

Best place in Mt Pleasant! Won't be disappointed with the quality or service. Cosy interior, great for a small group or by yourself.

A magnetic little place just off Kingsway that once you find, you'll keep going back to. I love all manner of poke here (salmon, vegetarian), the little pops in the fridge, and of course: the super solid service. Order at the counter, perch on a stool. Perfect for work lunch or quick stop in.

This is the best sushi in Mount Pleasant. I wish it was open every day, 24 hours a day.

Best sushi and poke bowl lunch spot! Love this tiny, quiet -off the beaten path place. Sushi is great and they play RnB hip hop vibes to warm you up too. Best combo ever!

Cute little sushi shop with friendly service and good music.

We ordered avocado roll, mango avocado roll, daikon roll and chicken curry bowl.

Avocado was perfect, mango avocado roll was tangy and different. Daikon roll was daikon ;) . The chicken curry was so satisfying and delicious.

This place is priced really well and service was hella speedy. Bonus points for chef coming out of kitchen and checking my allergies with me :D!!!

Ordered takeout for my gf and I aft a long day around 8pm on Sunday. I stepped in while she got the EVO and ordered a bunch of rolls and a poke salad and everything was ready by the time she rolled up w the car.

Pros:
- friendly and quick service. There were two other ppl picking up takeout. Two tables eating just bout done.
- inexpensive menu (ordered the Carp combo $10 came w half tuna and salmon roll, Cali roll, green salad, and miso soup) tons of combos for less than $10
- fresh fish and quality ingredients
- poke bowls w two sizes to choose fr (mini/reg)

Cons:
- smaller menu?.. honestly I get overwhelmed when there's too much to choose or when some places start to get too creative and use overly complicated multi-syllabic names for a sushi roll w one or two extra ingredients. I def appreciate simplicity
