We worked with Chris from Carpetworks to pick out and plan to replace older wood veneer and carpet in our new townhouse with higher quality engineered hardwood floors and could not be happier with the result! Chris was so responsive and helpful communicating over email, phone, and in person--he came to our new place before closing to measure, shared multiple options at different price points, and scheduled everything so we could get it done right after closing but before we fully moved in. The whole crew on-site was efficient and expert, and even worked during the weekend and on a holiday when a more difficult-than-expected removal of old flooring (SO much old glue on concrete!) took longer, so the whole job finished on time. I highly recommend this local, family-owned business!

I was extremely pleased with responsiveness and quality of laminate floor installation in my condo. Tim West dealt with HMO
and everything was done as promised quickly and efficiently.
The cost was not excessive but within the comparable range.

Excellent experience, start to finish. The new flooring is beautiful, replacing some tired tiles from 1972. Chris was very pleasant, very helpful, and the installers did a terrific job, finishing a little faster than anticipated. My long-time contractor had a close look at their work (as he was painting the new baseboards) and said it was very well done. I would certainly recommend them.

Kevin and crew did a remarkable job on the 3 floors of our condo building.
The carpet had accumulated spots over a number of years and they made them disappear.

We had a terrific experience with this team. It is a family owned business that has served this area for a long time, which says a lot about them. We talked to several flooring stores and liked their honesty. We couldn't decide between vinyl planks or sheet vinyl for our kitchen. Tim was extremely responsive, reliable and knowledgeable, bringing us samples and offering advice. We ended up doing sheet vinyl and couldn't be happier. Ubaldo, our installer was top notch with extreme attention to detail. The workmanship is flawless. You won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend Matt at Carpetworks if you want great customer service and assistance. He is extremely knowledge regarding all the flooring materials and also installation. He responds quickly and will come to your home to create a customized estimate and answer all your questions. Carpetworks, in addition to carpets; also sells vinyl, laminate, hardwood, tile, everything! Ten years ago I ordered carpet for my living room and bedroom that is still like new, 10 years later, they picked out the best and most durable carpeting for my specific needs, having two cats. Last and not least, their prices are the best and most competitive prices you can find in this pricey bay area.
