Probably the best pasta I've had in my life. The fresh pasta was the perfect al dente and so delicious.

The pesto tasted like the basil was crushed today. The perfect blend of fragrant from the basil and nutty from the pine nut, both not overpowering. The burrata was a wonderful to add on top.

The bolognese was perfectly meaty and tomato-y without being too acidic. The rigatoni picked up the sauce in its pockets and each bite was so delicious.

The lasagne was the perfect homey dish. It was hearty and full of flavor. Not too cheesy and not too meaty. Garlic bread was perfectly toasted and not too salty.

You order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The staff are friendly and excited to talk about their dishes. The indoor seating isn't air conditioned so you might be better off sitting outside during the summer.

There are some meals you will dream about and talk about forever. This was one of them for my husband and I! A family owned hidden little gem. Our server recommend the porcini mushroom pasta for me.. the flavor, texture..simply amazing.

My husband had the pesto verde pasta, light and refreshing with amazing flavor. I wish we didn't live 10 hours away because we would be here regularly! Highly recommend!

This truly authentic Italian shop in Kitsilano on Vine Street sells fresh pastas (build your own), coffee, desserts, and gelatos. It's a small place with some outdoor seating. I had the bucatini in arrabbiata sauce, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was incredibly fresh and heavenly. Definitely a spot to try if you're ever in Vancouver.

It took me a while to decide on my pasta sauce and pasta, but after trying a few dishes there, I realized that there isn't a bad combination. They also have frozen ones ready to go if you can't get enough and want some more (what happened to us!). Their garlic bread was also worth trying! Basically, everything is delicious there.

Friendly service. Chill ambiance. Lots of free street parking around

Delicious gelato, yummy lattes and amazing cheddar and chive scones. Casereccio hits it out of the park again! And I haven't even tried their famous pasta yet!

The BEST Italian pasta we've had in the city so far!! There are so many options of freshly made pasta to choose from. We ordered the Carbonara ($21) with bucatini and the Amatriciana ($21) with tagliatelle. The carbonara was authentic, no cream but so creamy! The guanciale or Italian cured pork cheek in the pastas had a really nice smokey taste with a slight crunch. So tasty.

We also loved the gelato. We got two flavours, pistachio and caramelized figs ($8.25) . It's creamy, airy, rich, light, and full of flavour. All at the same time. Yum.

The place felt homey, welcoming, and laid back. Great service.

      We will definitely be back!

I get their fresh pasta to go and make it at home, but it always smells so good in there when I go, I am sure their cooked food is delicious too.

It's a counter so they are always super fast for take away. I love this place!

Oh man. This is definitely my favourite Italian place in Vancouver. I've come a few times for their gelato which is literally out of this world. Get the hazelnut one if you like nuts. It is heavenly. It feels like you're eating the centre of an ice cream sandwich, but the most amazing nutty flavor.

I finally got to stop in yesterday for some actual pasta. I ended up getting the carbonara and choosing spaghetti as the noodle choice. It did not disappoint. It was so delicious, but I scraped off every little bit of remaining sauce off my plate. The pancetta I was cooked perfectly and the creaminess was amazing. My friend got the porcini pasta and his mine was utterly blown.

Everyone you ask who works there is extremely helpful. They help you make best decisions based on what you're interested in. This place is a little hole in the wall but it's so cosy and feels really authentic. I will be coming here for lunch and dinner very often.

This has been on the want-to-try list for a while. I think I expected something like a corner store with a market and fresh pasta dishes... that is NOT what this is, and I'm not complaining! It's a semi-hidden restaurant, you step into this place and it's tiny and a little cramped, but warm and welcoming! I didn't think it would be so busy but I was lucky to have a table open up right after I ordered. I ordered at the counter and got a number to seat myself and have the food brought to my table. All the staff showed great hospitality.
I like the build-your-own model for the pasta menu. I got the spinach ravioli with arrabbiata sauce. The quality of the ravioli were great - although they appeared to be only modestly (but very uniformly) filled, each bite had a sharp and bright flavour from the ricotta and spinach filling - definitely made with fresh ingredients because previously frozen spinach just doesn't taste like that - and this was even strong enough to cut through the spicy and flavourful sauce. I got a pistachio tiramisu for dessert which was also delicious! This was interesting because it was served in an edible waffle bowl! This also tasted very fresh as the ladyfingers were thoroughly infused with coffee and kahlua but not soggy.
Not corner store prices, but not corner store quality either. It's a casual and quick (impressively quick considering how busy they were) but legit Italian restaurant, and it's worth it for a nice pasta dinner without the fuss. Suitable for solo dining or date night, but not for bigger groups (of more than 4) because there's not really room for big tables in the space. Also seems very popular for takeout!
