Castillo Electric

We've had the pleasure to work with Jose of Castillo Electric on 2 jobs. Earlier in the year, we interviewed 5 different electricians for a complex recessed lighting project for our home. After talking with Jose, we found him to be the most honest, upfront and understanding of our needs. Jose and his team did an amazing job and they were transparent through the entire process. Jose walked us through the whole process, kept hole cutting to a minimum and gave us many different options for our light switches. Did I mention he patched up the holes, textured the walls and painted? Jose and team went above and beyond!

Recently we had Jose and his team over for a smaller job. They fixed 2 exterior electrical outlets that stopped working. The previous owner did a lot of DIY and it was determined that the wiring was incorrect. Jose and his team were able to fix the wiring and upgrade the electrical boxes. They also replaced 2 exterior lights and a bedroom ceiling fan.

What more can we say about Castillo Electric? He is our go to electrician!

Jose and his team came to upgrade my main panel from 100 to 200 amps, upgraded our sub panel, and installed extra outlets throughout my house. The work was all very well done and he has very reasonable pricing. Jose is very responsive, very communicative throughout the work, and does a great job of explaining how and why they are doing things. His team is also very knowledgeable and polite and they are great about not making a mess. They tape plastic around areas that may get messy and clean up well when they are done. And they wear shoe covers whenever they come in the house, which is a nice touch!

I will be recommending him to anyone I know who needs electrical work done, and he is my go-to for all future projects. It's great having someone that I trust and I don't have to call 5 other electricians for estimates anymore.

Super knowledgeable and helpful! I called and was able to set up an initial consult right away. He was fast and efficient and provided me with all the different options.

This is the second time I have been using Catillos's service.
He is always responsive, professional, and very polite, as well as his crew.

He was able (I am sure for some jobs) to quote a price for me after asking some follow-up questions over the phone about location, complexity, and need.
I needed him to install a new fan/light electrical box in the ceiling since I didn't have one at all.

His prices are very fair and competitive.

I am happy that I have a go-to electrician I can call when needed.

Jose came in with his crew to replace my GFCI and weather outlet. He was helpful, patient and was able to accommodate my request and quickly completed the work.

This review is long overdue as we had Jose and his team work on the removal of our old lights in the kitchen and replaced it with recessed lightings and pendant lights in October 2023. From the initial consultation to the actual installation, Jose was very prompt and professional. Jose and team put paper protection on our floor from the entrance to the work area. They completed the work in less time than was estimated. Upon completion of the work, Jose and team made sure that everything in the area where they worked was cleaned up. We are very happy with our recessed lightings and pendant lights Jose and his team installed. We will definitely contact Jose again if we ever need any electrical work done in our home. I won't hesitate to recommend Jose to others. In fact my daughter had electrical issues recently in their kitchen and needed an electrician ASAP. I recommended Jose and Jose came out on short notice and fixed the problem.

I am including the before and after photos in this review. The before photos with the old fluorescent lighting and small chandelier and the after with the recessed lightings and pendant lights. I can't say enough how happy we are with our recessed lightings and pendant lights.

Great work and quick response. Jose was able to schedule my installation in few days. He did job explaining to you the work and how the process runs. You can tell he is genuine and very real and you feel the honesty when he answered our questions

We hired Jose and his team to install new light sconces for our entrance. Jose was very professional from the time he came out to quote the project and throughout.

Given my experience working with many skilled trades, it was clearly apparent that Jose was not only a knowledgeable electrician but one that will get the job done correctly and most importantly, with the highest degree of safety. I had hired several "electricians " in the past but none dealt come close to his capabilities.

Jose encountered a few unforeseen challenges as he dove into the installation (which were out of his control) but he was very methodical about getting it completed to our satisfaction. The final product came out great that even our neighbors want to hire Jose to install the light fixtures on their home as well.

Will certainly be hiring Jose and the team for all of our future electrical projects.

Very much appreciative of all the work that Jose and his team has provided for me in my household. Jose and his team were extremely professional, and worked efficiently installing a new chandelier in my dining area. I've had plenty of work done at my residence this year and what makes Castillo Electric stand out is that they educated the consumer about how the job goes so that we get an understanding of what they're doing. I will continue to use Castillo Electric for future projects.
