CCI Computer Jam

I love this computer store. I have been a customer of CCI computers for so many years I can't remember how many. Frankly I don't know what I'd do if I never met Rizwan so many years ago. I am a retired pilot and have always been a flight simulator enthusiast. Now in my retirement years I absolutely love the spectacular realism that is provided by today's high-end flight simulation products. Using these high-end products requires a lot of computer upgrading and improving (the developers are always writing their new programs up to the standards of the very latest computers out on the market)--- over the years with the help of Rizwan and his technician Jonathan I've been able to remain on the cutting edge without going crazy and overspending. I recently built an absolutely top-notch superhigh quality superfast computer at CCI--- I found the specs for the computer in one of my flight simulator magazines and simply brought them to Riz he was able to build me one that was a little bit better than the one in the magazine for less than half the cost.

Whatever have a computer problem I call CCI and for the most part there able to tell me how to fix it over the phone. If they can't fix it over the phone the use a program like team viewer to go into my computer and see if they can't fix it for me right then and there--- I am never charged for this "go to my PC"type of service so when I go to the shop I demand to be allowed to pay for that service. I force payment on them because I do not want them to ever go out of business-- I myself and the many friends who I have referred to them over the years would be totally lost if they were to cease to exist. I know that they are well-liked and respected in the community and whenever I am in the shop local business people as well as nonbusiness residence trail in one after the other with their small computer problems and Riz and Jonathan go about solving the problems--- always for a fair price by my estimation.

CCI computers also performs the IT service for the company that my wife works for--- I wife has worked for this company for over 33 years and is extremely particular about who she recommends to her bosses --- years ago she recommended Riz to them and he is providing all their IT service ever since.

I like Riz a lot, and consider him a personal friend due to the fact that I spent so much time over the years having them fix up my computers--- Riz is also an intelligent and erudite type of guy-- worldly in the extreme and I'm always looking for an opportunity to talk him into going to lunch with me.

Somehow the bad guys got my bank information, credit card,etc.
I wasnt sure the extent of the damage but knew I had to get help securing my computers.
I must admit CCI was not my first call in my desperate time of need but was the only one who said they could help.
Riz showed up on time and I was exhausted and not thinking clearly and a bit frazzled when he arrived tracking down all the fraud charges.
Long story short he was amazing!
Riz jumped right on and made the adjustments necessary to secure my computers.
I have had bad experiences with the people at Best Buy and Apple before with them talking down to me.
Not only is this guy computer smart but he is a nice person.

Shawn was very knowledgeable. He gave me a quote before proceeding. He also completed the service ahead of schedule. Price is reasonable. Will definitely use them again.

CCI has repaired my son's gaming PC twice now, the first time removing a boatload of computer viruses and the second time replacing a fan. Highly recommend this business.

Rizwan is the techie's techie! Have used his services several times, most recently to find and replace a failed motherboard on twelve year old Windows 7 PC that wasn't (fully) backed up. So have a few very tech-savvy friends. He's very knowledgeable and offers very reasonable pricing. We are fortunate to have such a store right in the heart of downtown WC. Highly recommended. I recently had C C Computer Jam finish my build. The communication was excellent, the price very reasonable, and I did check around.
Tom & the owner are very very good.
The end result, my computer turned out really well built.
I highly recommend them.

I've been a customer for approx 15 years and they have always done right by me. I wouldn't dream of taking my business elsewhere.

My visits are few now compared to the beginning as I no longer take out my frustration by pounding the PC as I often did in my first years, when I was clueless. haha.

My latest visit (2/24/24) was for transferring a SS drive from an old PC to a better one, copying and replacing its regular non-SS hard drive and retaining Windows 7 as the OS. Because of the age of the PC there was a problem enabling the Wifi, something about missing drivers that turned out to be somewhat complicated. It took about a half hour but Rizwan and his technician got it done together, and I was on my way.

For some unknown reason, Yelp has determined that these 2 honest and factual reviews by me, 12 years apart.. are to be 'Not Recommended'. Why that is - a mystery to me, they are NOT FAKE ! I am a happy, satisfied, long time customer simply sharing my positive experiences, like so many others.

Rizwan and Tom are the best. They fixed my MacBook and got me back up and running. (My former tech guy, went radio silent on me). I found CCI Computers on Yelp and could not be more pleased. These guys know their stuff and are pleasure to work with. They are now my go to, computer / tech guys.

I rarely post Yelp Reviews. In fact this review and is only my second Yelp Review. I only post a review when I encounter exceptional people that really care about their customers.

Rizwan and Tom are nice people; and interesting and fun to talk with. It's very rare these days, to find a store owner and their employees that really care about their customers.

Their prices are very reasonable and they could charge a lot more for their services and expertise. Don't waste your time or money going to some other computer repair shop. Go to CCI Computers and you be very pleased you did.

The recent storms caused several outages, all occurring while my 4 year old Gaming PC was on. The final (20 hour outage) appeared to be the final straw, with my PC turning on and lasting about 10 minutes before it gave up the ghost.

I spent a few hours researching locations for me to reach out to, in the hopes that the repair was a part replacement, and not something more catastrophic. I found CCI after perusing competitors, and I was drawn to their experience with Gaming PCs. This turned out to be their key differentiator. After describing the symptoms, they (Rizwan, the owner, and Tom the tech) surmised that it was likely the motherboard. I quickly pulled together a parts list, and actually ordered a motherboard just in case it needed to be replaced.

Once I dropped off the machine, I got a diagnosis within a day. Once I received the replacement board, I was able to drop it off and got my machine fixed up within a few hours. I even got a nice upgrade on another part after they diagnosed my machine.

CCI was thorough, communicative, transparent, and experienced. The cost of work was also extremely fair (even allowing me to purchase a part on my own and dropping it off).

I highly recommend CCI. I will definitely be coming back to them when it's time to upgrade my Gaming PC (and if there's any other problems that creep up on my current one...).

I used CCI two times to fix my old laptop during the last several years. The first issue was the laptop not closing and damaging the screen when I tried to do so. The second time, in 2023, the laptop went dead even when connected to an outlet.

Both times the service by CCI was superb and the cost very reasonable. The very old laptop still works, in fact, so well, that I have not yet unpacked a new laptop bought in 2023.

I have never used any other repair shops in the area. If I have any problems with laptops or desktops, based on my experience thus far, I will take them to CCI.

The proprietor is a senior technician who knows the history of personal computing. This orientation allows him to quickly diagnose a problem and find a quick cost efficient solution. I was in and out in less than an hour and paid a reasonable amount for a new video board including installation and testing.

You don't have to look further than CCI and Rizwan.
