Large party ok to dine in here?

      A:

There are only two-three large table seatings. Maybe 6-8 people at max at each table. Small place so best to call ahead and discuss

One of my favorite Chinese places! I've been here a couple of times, and each time they food has been on point.

      Recommended dishes:
      1. Hand shredded chicken - it comes out as a mountain, and the flavor is amazing. I'm impressed by both the portion and taste.
      2. Salt and pepper ribs - gently battered, deep fried just to the right amount of crispness, and good salt and pepper ratio.
      3. Baked Chilean sea bass - great flavor, soft and juicy
      4. Garlic pea sprouts - good quality vegetable

I look forward to coming back!

Was in the area so I decided to get take out. Tried a few dim sum and the sizzling cod clay pot. The xiao long bao did not have much soup in it. By the time I got home to eat it, it seemed like most of them had holes in the wrappers when it got transferred. The siu mei and har gau are also small for the price but tasted ok.

The sizzling cod clay pot had decent flavor. It comes with a bed of cooked lettuce which I'm not a fan of.

I would probably try other things and only order the xiao long bao to eat in the restaurant. Service was good though and the lady who helped me and answered the phone was nice.

You never know what you might get when you try a new restaurant and trust the yelp reviews. I did ask a gentleman standing in line waiting for his to-go order what was good here (not hi, not excuse me)! He gave his seal of approval and we stayed.

This place is worth the visit! We were celebrating a friend's birthday and her only ask...Chinese food! We were a party of 5 and walked in without at wait. We opted for the family style meal for 5. The portions were HUGE (leftovers for the next day), the service attentive, huge chunks of fresh vegetables, and enjoyed the variety. And the food kept on coming!

The only thing all of us didn't care for were the egg rolls. They were meh.

I've been meaning to come back here again and finally had the chance while I was running errands. I called in an order and was given a thirty minute estimate.

I ran my errands and stopped in to pick up dinner and head home. I love that they have a dim sum menu that is available all day. We ended up ordering sui mai, har gow, steamed pork buns, potstickers, steamed dumplings, general's chicken and wor wonton soup. A LOT of food.

When I arrived they were really and I wasn't sure where to go to pay and pick up. They have two large tables with lazy susans as well as a bunch of two tops and four tops, but they are organized really close to the checkout desk. I followed the lead of the person in front of me and went between two tables to the counter, but it turns out I should have gone toward the right of the table instead.

After a little confusion, I ended up paying after another couple and had a little more of a wait before my food was done. The staff was friendly and working hard to clear tables, bring out food and take care of to-go orders.

As I was driving home I received a call and it turned out they forgot my har gow. No problem, I turned around and was back within about five minutes. They knew who I was when I arrived and ended up throwing in an order of sesame balls since I had to drive back.

I got everything home and was most interested in the wor wonton soup. I like that they pack the broth and toppings separately so they don't get soggy and the portion is easily two meals on it's own.

The dim sum is good, but not the best we've had. Considering the price and that it's available all day though, it's a good option. The generals chicken was tasty and I liked that it had a little kick to it.

We opted for takeout order this CNY. As expected the place was packed! There were only two servers and both were working very hard attending to patrons dining in as well as to-go orders. Both servers maintained a pleasant disposition while hustling and bustling.

When I called in to place my order, I was quoted a 45 minute estimate. When I got there, I was told that my order was not even closed to being ready. In a different circumstance, I would have been disappointed. But knowing that it was the lunar holiday... it wasn't surprising. It didn't take too long (about another 15 minutes) when my order was finally ready.

This little unassuming restaurant has an extensive lunch and dinner menus of authentic dishes with some dimsum options available as well. We've tried a variety of dishes and have not been disappointed at all.

Food was ok. The pork fried rice was not flavorful. The rice appeared white and unflavored as was the pork. I requested Sesame Beef which is off menu but they said they could make. It was very sticky, not flavorful nor crisp and had minimal flavor. The Chicken Chow Mein and Egg Rolls were fantastic. Very hot and fresh and tasty. Service was great. Went for lunch but paid dinner prices because of the items we got and it was $103. Pricey! For 2 of us.

This place is hands down the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. It's a very small place but they have a very brisk take out and delivery business. We love their Tomato Beef Chow Mein Hong Kong style which is the noodles are crisp. We have eaten Chinese food in highly rated restaurants in LA, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Honolulu, Scottsdale, Palm Springs, and we always return here because it's reasonably priced, delicious and fresh ingredients. And gratefully real close to my house a big plus. Don't miss out craving Chinese make this your next stop.

      Dim Sum... Let's Gao!

It was our first time here... been wanting to try for sometime. We finally made it here for lunch one afternoon. Our server was nice and immediately sat us on a table. We ordered Dim Sum and we were aware that there would be some wait time. It's okay, we got time. We ordered the following:

      * Steamed BBQ Pork Buns - this was hubby's favorite
      * Siu Mei (pork) Dim Sum - yummy juicy pork and prawn filling. Tender, juicy and delicious! This is a dim-sum must have.
      * Steamed Pork Dumplings - came with 5 pieces of Xiao Long Baos. The filling is meaty and juicy.
      * Har Gow Dim Sum - love those bright pink chunks of fresh shrimp. The translucent wrapper is delicate and chewy.

The dining room is small but food is good... at least the dim sum that we ordered were.

Probably one of the best tasting Chinese food I've had so far. Ingredients were fresh. Good service. It is very busy though, which is a good thing. I had the moo shu pork which was nicely prepared and tasty. Very good portion sizes too for the price.

This review is for Family Dinners A & B.

Family Dinners are a minimum of 2 persons; substitutions are an additional $1 charge.

      Family Dinner A ($15.95/person)
For 2: Wonton Soup, Egg Rolls, Cream Cheese Wontons, Broccoli Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, or BBQ Fried Rice
For 3, add Sweet & Sour Pork
For 4, add Cashew Nut Chicken
For 5, add Mu Shu Pork

      Family Dinner B ($16.95/person)
For 2: Hot & Sour Soup, Pot Stickers, Deep Fried Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Peking Steak FiIlet, Shrimp Chow Mein, or Shrimp Fried Rice
      For 3, add Lemon Chicken
      For 4, add Szechuan Beef
For 5, add Shrimp with Lobster Sauce

In general, the chow mein is definitely better than their fried rice. Note that the Teriyaki Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken come with zucchini (if you're picky). For only one dollar difference per person, after trying both (for 2), I would get Dinner B again. The Kung Pao chicken was spicy (both the red chilis and jalapenos) in a good way. The Peking Steak Filet was onion-heavy but had sweet and tender meat underneath it all. I'm most curious to try their mushu pork a la carte next visit. Portions were good, no need for any extra sides of rice. Fortune cookies with the bill of course.

Open until 9 PM Tuesday through Sunday. Dine-in service is pretty good. Lots of to-go orders for pickup as well I've noticed in the evening.
