Charlie's Sewer & Drain Rooter

Clogged shower drain, previous plumber was selling us on replacing a collapsed shower drain, cutting open slab, opening walls.

Charlie snaked it out in 15 minutes. Speedy service, on time , well mannered, fair prices.

Ed called to ask if he could arrive earlier than the appointment window, which was great! Finished the garbage disposal install quickly and professionally.
Looked at a couple other things while here, and provided some tips.

Tldr: I trust them and they did a good job

Our sewer and drain situation left us with a bad odor and frequently clogged sewers.

We know that our home is more than 50 years old, and has had some additions to the house that were more budget friendly than robust.

If you are like us, you are probably scared about the high cost and uncertainty involved in addressing the issues.

Trying to be business-like and logical we asked 4 highly rated plumbers to bid on and explain how to resolve our problems.

We already knew it would be expensive, so we were more afraid of making a bad decision and ending up with the problem not fixed. Minus all the money.

Charlie's sewer and drain did the second best investigation of the problem. But unlike the others they gave us the option to include further investigation as a deduction to the cost of the fix.

I was a little skeptical because they had some schedule misses. When I brought this up with Charlie he acknowledged the fact and I trusted his honest response.

They have done an excellent job on a complicated project and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Messaged them for a tank flapper replacement on a toilet in a downtown adjacent loft. Turns out they don't service toilet flaps if the toilet is located in a bathroom inside a loft. Interesting.

The owner responded that it's disheartening that a ( negative) review has been posted...this is not a "negative" review..Yelp considers it as OK....this business lists toilet service and repair as one of their services that they provide yet they will not service the said toilet if the toilet sits in a "loft". It's as if you were a car tow company, towing cars... but the caveat is that you would not tow a car if it was parked in a loft building parking lot. Your customers need to know that your service is limited..or you need to clearly state it in your business description....it will affect their choice to use your business. Thank you.

Wow!!! Jorge is the coolest and most honest plumber I've ever had at my house. There's a reason Charlie's has so many 5-star reviews!!! Believe the hype.

Don't let the "inspection fee" dissuade you: they're professionals and deserve to be paid after driving to your home and spending time assessing the situation.

Jorge jet flushed our kitchen drainage system and showed me before/after photos. He worked for two hours in the heat, making sure the job was done well. And the final charge was incredibly fair!!!!

I'm so thrilled that I've found a plumbing company that I can now call with confidence.

Our family has used Charlie's Sewer service for 13 yrs. They are our first call for plumbing needs. They've done faucet installation, underground diagnostics for broken pipes, pressure valve replacements, etc.

So yeah, I've said before that this is the best place to call for plumbing. But now I'm writing it again!! These guys are absolutely fabulous ‼ Truth... this time my hot water heater sprung a leak. WTactualF?! There was a spring bubbling through my backyard. Andrew came over in two hours, thank goodness cause who knows how long this has been going on. And bam - it may have taken 5 hours but I have a new water heater and it's working properly and I had the wrong size in there to begin with....
These guys are so great, Andrew gave me a smaller water heater, hence cheaper cause that's what I needed. How great is that?!

These are the guys to call. Ask for Andrew and Fernando if you want, they really are good, thorough and they took care of my problem right away. I'm happy.
I never thought I'd love my plumber.

I won't go into detail, suffice it to say that unless I need to call them out to work on warranty repairs for my new water heater, they won't be getting any more of my business. The plumber was fine, it's the lack of transparency from the "bosses"... that has left a really bad taste in my mouth. Too bad, I'm a realtor and often have the need for plumbing service, but I no longer feel comfortable recommending you to my clients . One more thing price is so high

On time, polite, competent, completed the job, showed me before and after images, and caused no harm.

Charlie's replaced our main horizontal drain for our home in Feb 2023 and we have had no issues since. They were very professional and fairly priced.

We had another plumber come out to do work recently and they told us we had to replace our main sewer line to the street. I had Charlie's come out today to do a free inspection of our sewer line and give a second opinion. Turns out our line is fine and just needed a hydrojetting for maintenance. I am really grateful to be able to trust in Charlie's.
