Cherry City Cleaners

I recently came in here to get a peacoat dry cleaned. The price was around $18 which seemed a little high to me but the service was friendly and they had good reviews so I went for it.

The coat was cleaned pretty well overall but they could've gotten rid of some more of the lent balls hanging on the fringes. Good service overall.

I've used them a handful of times to launder shirts ($2.50 per shirt out thr door) in the past 6 months. So far so good. Professional in the service & pleasant in my experience.
Google showed them as "Permanently Closed" in red but they are very much open for business.

Been going here for years. Connie knows us pn site and always asks about the family and knows how I like my shirts starched. Nothing like having a cleaners whom you trust.

I've been bringing my family clothes here for 4 years. They have always been professional. Clothes done correctly never damaged and on time. They have also done alterations for bridesmaids dresses for my wife. I'm sadly moving away because a good dry cleaner you can trust is hard to find. Staff here has not changed in years so must be doing something right.

$25 for tailoring a dress shirt...whoa there, too, too much. Excessive. Anyway, there were cheaper competitors after surveying the bay area so I went elsewhere.

Best dry cleaners in San Leandro hands down. I have tried many dry cleaners in Oakland and in San Leandro, but none could match or compare to the quality of service Cherry City Cleaners has done for me. We are loyal customers here! I take all my husband's shirts here for pressing and cleaning. Mrs. Kim's is always crisp and professional and her personal interactions kind and thoughtful. She has been so kind to my boys that they now consider her to be a personal friend. We've had her remove stains, do minor alterations, dry clean and press items. Everything done properly and reliably! Local gem!

Sadly, I had a very negative experience with Cherry City, which was especially disappointing after my awesome experience the first time. I had a silk dress with some faint stains, and after Cherry City worked on it, the stains were much, much darker than before such that the dress is now unwearable.

This is one local business that deserves our support. In fact, I travel from East Oakland to use this Cleaners. Friendly, amicable, professional. I've never had a complaint. The service is impeccable.
The only thing I would say is if you need alterations or a tailor, I would find a true tailor or seamstress as their forte is in Cleaning.

Horrible alterations! The new lady there can't even sew on a button. If you want basic cleaning at a more than average price, go there. But if not, try some place else.
