      I was very pleased with the service that was provided. I finally found an HVAC service that I will use again. On time, professional and honest. Professional follow up when we experienced a few issues after the installation which I greatly appreciated.

      I recently had a new AC system installed by Clarke & Rush, and I couldn't be happier with the service, especially given the extreme heat we've been experiencing (100-115 degrees). The technicians, Tobiah, Joseph, and Brayan, were exceptional. They were incredibly friendly, polite, and communicative throughout the entire process. Their efficiency was impressive, completing the installation in just one day, from 7am to 2pm. They were knowledgeable and professional, and I truly believe they deserve higher pay for their excellent work.

      I paid $11k for a new AC system (compared to other companies that were charging $18k+) , and the brand they recommended was Carrier. My old AC system was about 20 years old. The only downside to my experience was the quoting process. When you call for a quote, they don't give you a price over the phone. Instead, they send someone out to inspect your system and spend about an hour discussing their company and the brands they work with. It felt unnecessary, especially since the salesperson already had the quote amount written down on a paper before arriving.

      Despite this, the quality of the installation and the professionalism of the technicians made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend Clarke & Rush for their outstanding service.

      The team from Clarke & Rush arrived at our home on time for our project. Team consisted of Team Lead: Sergie. Crew Members: Roger, Alfredo, Clement, Jesse, David and Joseph.

      We were informed of the projects they were going to be completing. They advised us they'd work hard to get everything up and running before the end of the scheduled time on Day 1.

      By the end of Day 1 the following had been completed : Systems replaced and upgraded to electric were HVAC & Water Heater. Also important note is that our old AC wasn't the right size for our home and was upgraded based on our homes actual square footage. Additional installed items were thermostats, co2 detectors, smoke detectors and an EV Charger for the future. In order to install the Water Heater and EV Charger the crew had to install additional wiring and PVC drain piping. They also made sure to paint the exposed drain outside the home the color of the house so it blends in! Nice touch!

      Prior to leaving made sure we'd downloaded all apps needed to control our new systems. Apps for both the HVAC and Water Heater. We were alswalked us through manual control options as well.


      Day 2: Serge,Jesse and Roger returned to prepare the systems to be tested. Jim from Energuy, came to perform the required tests to check the pressure and air flow of the system. All systems checked out!!

      The new systems work like a charm. It's nice to be worry free of these potential issues. Thank you all for your speedy and professional work!

      If you're looking for a trustworthy company Clarke & Rush is the one!!!!

      Clarke and Rush installed our new heating and air conditioning system. Their estimate was reasonable and their installation process was timely, efficient, and professional. The system is working well and keeping our house cool during the high heat this summer.

      Had a very weird experience with the rep that came over to do a site inspection to prepare a proposal.

      When told that we don't want hearing strips in the air handler, the rep said that they will not do the job otherwise. He was unwilling to consider a proposal with just an air handler as requested.

      The visit concluded after that and lasted only about 5 minutes.

      I guess Rush & Clarke has so much business that they don't need mine. Noted.

      My heat pump wasn't working so I called my trusted repair company Garick, and found out they had been puchased by Clarke & Rush. I wanted to give them a try and I'm glad to report they were great and just as good as the now defunct Garick. My technician was John and he called to let me know he was on his way at the beginning of the time window and he arrived exactly as he estimated.

      He was great to talk to and let me know every step of the way what was going on with the heat pump. He fixed it lickety split and for a very reasonable price and did not try to upsell me or tell me I needed a new heat pump right away. That's how I can tell they are a top notch operation. He did give me a realistic assessment of how much longer my 40 year old heat pump might last, and I appreciated that.

      I'm sad that I lost my trusted Garick but happy that Clarke & Rush is going to be a great go-to HVAC shop from here on out!

      Discovered my AC was no longer blowing cool air late Friday afternoon. Since it was after 5:00, wasn't sure who to call. Asked my son-in-law if he recommended anyone. He didn't really know of any particular company to call but suggested Clarke & Rush. Office was closed but left message with an answering service to call me. I did call them back several hours later to give them an alternate phone number. Crickets.

      I realize it's a busy time of year, but the fact I called twice and they didn't even have the decency to take a few minutes to even bother returning my call. Good thing I did find a great AC company.

      UPDATE...Owner is thanking me for my 1 star review. These guys don't even read the comments. Pathetic company.


      Let me tell you... If you want to wait clear your schedule for a service tech to come only to have them cancel on you less than one hour before they're to arrive bc they over scheduled that day ... then give you a hard time on your rescheduling date then deal with these people. That happened FOUR times for the same appointment!!!

      They were more than happy to take my thousands of dollars for the three HVAC units that I had them install but they can't seem to manage respecting peoples time for their maintenance service.

      C&R staff are not trained to deal with customers...just scheduling. Too many baby boomers out here who put a high value on quality and professionalism of all staff including appointment setters to be treated like that!

      Train your staff and SHAME O. YOU!!!

      Clarke and Rush are SMUD approved contractors and did the seal and insulate work on my home. They were knowledgeable, professional, neat and tidy and friendly.
      Additional work, outside of the contract, was necessary to prevent air leaking between the A/C unit and ducting. They did this to ensure I would get the best performance from the system. Luke and his team were exceptional!

      Okay, I've had a couple of days to consider this situation, and I'm very disappointed.

      CRM installed a new Carrier HVAC system in my house in late March of 2020. Installation went well, and all appeared to be okay. Then, suddenly, last week, the AC failed.

      We called CRM, the original installers. The system has a 10 year warranty, so we wanted to continue to deal with the company that did the install. Bad choice.

      Turns out the problem was a failed capacitor on the condenser. According to the manufacturer, these capacitors should last 5-20 years. This one lasted 4.

      Okay though, no problem, right? It's covered under the manufacturers warranty. Well, the tech informs me that, in addition to the $99 call out fee, there would be a $115 charge for the capacitor. Which is under warranty. Which only costs $13 retail.

      So, they took an 885% markup over the RETAIL price of a part covered under warranty. No telling how much the markup was over the wholesale price for which they undoubtedly paid for the part.

      An 885% markup for a demonstrated good customer is dishonest, greedy and reprehensible. You can't tell me the folks who run this company are not aware of this.

      Avoid them at all costs! There are far too many competitors in this space for them to continue to be successful. A 61 year old business now run by pirates.

      I wonder what the founder would think?
