CM Chicken

This is a mom and pop joint that had good reviews for its chicken. We ordered takeout fried boneless chicken. It was ready in about 15 minutes.
It's a small restaurant with the owners kids running around playing. There are a few tables inside and out.
Overall the chicken was really tasty. But what you get is a very very thin piece of heavily battered chicken meat. Very crunchy and deep fried.
We all enjoyed the pickled radish that came with it.

Somehow this showed up late on my radar.

CM Chicken has taken over from the former Mun Chicken. Not sure if it's a re-brand or total new ownership, but it's still KFC. Mun lasted for maybe one year?

Pretty good KFC and this one is different. Different because it packs a little bit of heat for the original crispy. That's usually what I order. No fancy sauces or toppings.

Pricing is in line with other KFC joints.

I ordered take away. Worth a repeat visit.

Four of us walked in as they were about to close. I jokingly said, "How can you tease us by having your doors open like this?!" They said, "Ok ok you can order 1 regular sized order to-go". Haha. Did not expect that!

We ordered Snow Onion Chicken, and it was the BEST Korean style chicken we've had! There were around 12 pieces, which totally hit the spot as a late night snack for the 4 of us. For dinner I'd say I can eat one order by myself with maaaybe some leftover to snack on later.

The server was so nice and patient. And (I think it was) the owner was super nice too. We ate at the outdoor seating area right outside of the restaurant, and they kept the light on for us. (Actually they turned off all the lights at first, but we all made loud complaining noises, so they turned the lights back on, and came out to ask, "What else do you guys want?!" and came back to give us some free beverages...ahahhaha great vibes.

There's ~20 of us playing volleyball in Kits often...I think we're going to come visit CM Chicken a lot!

How can you resist the temptation of fried chicken+ginger beer+twilight combo at the beach? The S portion is sufficient for two and the Korean style of radish is purely perfect as relish. Great snack/dinner when visiting Kits beach.

Very Good Wow! I really like the onion snow chicken and the owner was very nice! The store is open very late and they were still very accommodating for us :)

Chicken was delicious. Had the couple platter and perfect size for 2 people. Small interior but super cozy. Definitely recommend.

Great portion sizes, friendly staff. Small mom and pop shop that deserves more traffic!! We got a portion of soy garlic to share and for 2 people this was the perfect amount of us. Food came out fast and piping hot. Flavoring was perfection! Would recommend

Staff was so welcoming and helpful. We ordered the variety combo and everything was so good, especially the spicy and soy garlic chicken! The decor was very homey and warm, we will definitely come back soon.

Delicious. A rather large selection of flavours, and the two of us each ordered a boneless plate of a different flavour, the hot snow onion chicken, and the lemon green onion chicken (they were out of curry that night, which I wanted to try). So, perfect little crispy pieces of freshly deep-fried chicken in a delicious sauce. The waiter was super friendly. They were playing happy K-pop and Christmas music, possibly Christmas K-pop, and really: all was good in the world.
