Compass Transportation

Can this place have like more good reviews? I am currently on one of their buses writing this review because they do a good job of transporting me back to San Jose from SF. At times some of my coworkers and I need a ride and these guys do a good job of taking me. 99% of the time I have no problems riding with them. I don't even work in the tech industry and they still do a good job of helping employees in my workplace get back home. Really glad my my workplace has the benefit of either Compass or Bauers to transport out of county workers. I can't see why I have to take off so many stars. Most of the time there is no problem with the buses I ride. When I don't feel like driving all the way to San Francisco these guys come in. For the trip back I love how I can be in the carpool lane while the drivers do all the work. It feels good looking at other motorists be stuck while I move on. The drivers of the buses I ride are professional and are real succesful.
Drawback: Unfortunately not every bus has Wifi and the ones that do run out quickly. Booking can be hard for some reasons

My little sister's sorority hired this company to take them to a retreat in Sonora, a 2 hour drive turned into 7 when the driver got lost on mountain roads, U-turned illegally multiple times, back tracked multiple times, and was a reckless driver with 40 young girls onboard. After 1 hour of tracking the bus going farther and farther away from its destination they finally arrived. DO NOT hire this company if you want your kids, sisters, friends, or any loved ones to be safe in their travels. Scary situation for both the girls and their families.

I'm driver for more than 20 years and drove everything (double and triple truck with Fedex, fridge, bus, transit, drum truck and etc.) I give them perfect DMV H6 for last 10 years record with no violation, no accident, no tickets and references from my current and previous job as a transit bus driver witch is more difficult from charter bus. They didn't approve me because I stutter a lot. When they call me to invite me to interview they told me everything look perfect, but after my interview they didn't call me or send me the email with response about my application. I call them 10-15 times and leave them voice mail few times before they told me my application is denied

I used Compass Transportation for my wedding transportation and had a flawless experience. Their customer service department (I worked with Marissa) was very helpful during the planning phase and the driver arrived on time and knew all of the details of our fairly complex itinerary.

We had a great experience throughout the day and I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Great service and teamwork! Marissa was very helpful with organizing everything for my wedding, while Don had great service and made everyone felt comfortable. Definitely will be back!

Not being familiar with the Alameda/Oakland area and knowing that we had many out of town guests attending our son's wedding who also were unfamiliar we decided that bus transportation for the weekend events was the best way to go. Marissa was very helpful in setting up the plans for the various events, the buses were clean and very comfortable, our two drivers were so friendly and accommodating to our guests. Our guests loved the fact that they could sit back and enjoy the events without any worry. We had a wonderful experience enhanced by the great service we received.
