I bought a are very expensive warrantied battery from these guys and have just been trying to come replace my battery while it's under warranty. They're never open when they say they're open. I came here on two different occasions And they just aren't open. The first time they said they'd be back at 1 o'clock when I came during regular business hours. I came back at 3:50 and they were close early. Here I am a few days later A regular business hours are came here and find out the door that says close for the week and be back Monday morning.
I'm jumping in my car driving Oakland every time I come here and it's really annoying that its not open when it says it's supposed to be according to their post to business hours nd the phone number doesn't work either so you can't even call and confirm that it's opened or not!

Quick and easy experience. Called in to see if they have the battery I'm looking for and picked it up within the hour.

My family has been doing business at this location for over 50 years.
The name has changed several times but the quality of service has not.
Oscar can check your vehicle's electrical output and they will remove and install a new battery at a cost less than the purchasing price at any auto suppliers.
I recommend you call before going elsewhere.

They had a weird battery that I needed in-stock and ready for pickup same day! Josh had the SAE terminal adapters handy and even helped me install them in the battery.
It's so hard to get any respect as a woman buying anything for my car so I always brace myself when I have to go to a shop in person. This was definitely the best customer service I've gotten in a while. Thanks Battery Systems!

Josh, the manager, is extremely customer focused. I ordered 3 8D diesel starting batteries online and messed up the 5% discount code. The credit card was charged and I missed out on the 5%. Josh patiently got it all straightened out for me when I showed up to pick up the batteries. A less caring person would have just said nothing can be done. The pricing was very good. My batteries were $197 each and I got 5% off. A friend bought the EXACT same battery elsewhere for $53 more. The crew unloaded my cores (112 lbs each) and carefully loaded my new batteries. Great customer experience. Super service. Very good prices. Josh is the man to
see for all your batteries. He will do his best for you as he did for me. By the way that one star review is completely underserved. That customer clearly had a vehicle charging problem not a defective battery.

Josh is the GO TO GUY here. Really knows his battery knowledge and also is so helpful. His customer service is beyond awesome and he makes sure you're all set to go.

Tell you over the phone that yes, they stock Interstate batteries. When you get there, they offer, in my case, a Centennial Commerical battery with a guaranteed 24 mo lifespan. Mine lasted 9 months. No receipt, too bad. Avoid these guys at all costs. Dishonest, bait and switch.

I call him the battery Viking (Eric), I came to battery systems with a Dilemma, my solar battery and charge controller that were installed by my solar system fabricator in my van have been mismatched and consistently fried (overcharged) my battery. I needed a solution for my vehicle fast as security system depended on it. Eric quickly evaluated the system and came in with three different solutions for batteries and charge controllers in few minutes. I am a salesperson and I'm very hard to sell on an idea is spending more than necessary, Eric's knowledge and transparency has shocked me, I invested in a Relion 8d battery and a new charge controller, this has been a full success for a few months now, my voltage is stable, system is adequately charged and all networks work seamlessly with no interruptions or issues. I am so convinced that this is a valid, permanent solution that I purchased a second battery of same type and kind to build a solar security system for our new vehicle.
