Cookie's Drive In

We love Cookie's. Their burgers are great, taste like homemade. There is no ambiance since they closed their dining area, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. We like the tacos, too.

It's very old school on the outside. Maybe even dumpy. Having no long term history in Sacramento and without yelp, you just drive on by.

But because of yelp we stopped and had lunch. Had a fancy burger, I think it had blue cheese on it. Loved it and it had a great bun.

Also ordered a coffee milk shake. This wasn't that great. I think it's just soft serve mixed with a syrup. It was nothing to write home about.

Overall very please with the find. For a weekday afternoon there was a steady stream of customers. Some for lunch and some getting soft serve ice cream.

I will be back, just not ordering a milkshake next time.

I recently visited Cookies Drive In and did not have high expectations. To my surprise, I was pretty impressed. They offer several selections, ensuring there's something for everyone. I opted for a bonzana burger, which was incredibly juicy and flavorful--definitely a good burger.

The ordering process is straightforward: you walk up and place your order. Despite the simplicity, the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made sure I had everything I needed.

The French fries were good, though a bit on the oily side. That being said, they were still enjoyable and complemented the burger well. I also tried their Oreo milkshake, which was absolutely on point--creamy, delicious, and a perfect treat after my meal.

Although the inside seating is closed, the overall experience was still good. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their other selections. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a solid burger. Love the old fashion atmosphere but I do feel they can renovate a bit.

Good old fashioned burger spot with a wide variety of options. The burgers were good, prices weren't too crazy and the service was just right. Plenty of seating outside and even though the parking lot is small, there was still plenty of room.

Great food and service. The quality of meat can't be beat. If you're in Sacramento it is a must do destination place.

We love cookies ! Been around for years and years. It's a classic burger stand thats family owned and friendly. Go to is a baby burger with cheese and an order of chili cheese fries !

First time coming here, ordered the elk burger and some fries! Wasn't impressed at all. Extra charge for EVERYTHING and way overpriced! Oh and they served me some over cooked old French fries! Not sure I'll be back for seconds! Smh

This is where you want to go to get a delicious classic burger! We drive around a lot, and that gives up the opportunities to try places we wouldn't normally get to try. I am so glad I found this place on yelp, we have driven past this place many times, and not once did I think to stop or even notice that it was a drive in food spot. We ordered some doubles and fries, The burgers were so good, just the right amount of salt, juicy patties, shredded lettuce, pickles, melted cheese, and we got grilled onions.

The food really hit the spot, the only negative I can even think of is the onion rings, they are breaded (which is fine, but I prefer beer battered) they were good, just the fries were a lot better. I hope we are near there again soon, I want to try some more of the options.
