Cory and his crew have done an amazing job in restoring my yard from a withering, dry state to a healthy green. Happy, me and I have to imagine, happy neighbors.
From affordable options to customized service, I've managed to find a local business that brings knowledge and insight to yard care and a high level of customer service that I found to be lacking among competitors.
If you're on the prowl for a great lawn care company, I recommend getting in touch with Cory. He's the best!

The crews show up when they are scheduled, do a great job and it is easy to add or modify work with their web site. Their office staff is also wonderful! Icing on the cake, the pricing is more than fair and it a great value!

James S.Reno, NV10231May 1, 2024My back yard sprinkler system leaks and I need someone to repair it. So I Filled out their email form on a Sunday. Was emailed back early Monday morning stating their sales team would be with me soon. On one hand I was impressed by the speed of response, on the other I was wary of a "sales team" since I had a specific request.
The next day I get an email with a "proposal" and it's just a pdf of their services and prices. They seriously put everything in there, none of which I requested, including the price for mowing my back yard. I have no idea why they can't just have that info on their website and I have no idea why it would take 2 days for the "sales team" to get back to me with just a list of services. It makes me feel like they want to seem bigger and busier than they are, or someone read a book that gave them terrible business advice or something. Because I just want someone to fix my sprinklers, not feel misled by processes put in place for posturing.
All in all I wasted 48 hours waiting on their response to literally get a list of services. They may actually do great work but I didn't get that far because I was so put off by their response. Judging by the last few reviews placed, I'm not the only one that's annoyed by the way they choose to do business. Thank you so much for the honest feedback and review of our process. I am truly sorry that you felt we are posturing and trying to make ourselves seem bigger or busier then we are. I believe you mentioned on your original request your need for some irrigation work and I do show that we quoted you are irrigation rates for the repair work needed. We have found that by quoting other services with specific pricing for your address, it does help to provide additional work later on as it helps our amazing customers know of all the services that our company can provide should a different need arise later on in the future. However, I appreciate the perspective you have provided and I am truly sorry that you felt our customer service was lacking. I am truly sorry to hear that you found our onboarding process annoying and that you felt our communication was slow. We understand that our process may not be the best fit for everyone in the Reno/Sparks area; however, many of our numerous customers find our process very simplistic and easy to follow and actually praise us for our communication speed. 709377661Jan 12, 2024Tried to get a quote for lawn mowing (not snow clearing) service and they wanted my credit card or bank account information prior to providing me a quote. THEN, they sent me a quote for snow removal for the season and it was well over a thousand dollars! They must of had me on auto dial/auto text msg because they flooded me with spam. I finally had to block them. Waaaay to rich for my blood.

Roberta L.Sparks, NV0152May 2, 2024Because I can no longer do the work, I jumped through all the hoops this company puts you through: filled out the forms on line, watched the introduction vid. Called the office when I didn't get the promised response in the time they set. Replied to the email sent with the pick you package pricing. Sent credit card info to have work done. I should have heard Tuesday about service beginning but I'm still waiting for a real person to call or something to appear in the darn portal I had to set up. Meanwhile my weeds I wanted them to take care of grow and look really bad. I'm done. And no, I'd never recommend this company.

Uncaring Workers, Uncaring Company
My father uses Cory's Lawn service. I've been in town because my Dad is very sick and dying.
One worker never took her phone off her ear during the entire time she was edging.
I had to bring my dogs because this is an emergency trip. I've spent the last 2 weeks putting in 15 hour days going to the hospital, checkig on my Dad, helping at the house.
I guess I didn't clean up enough dog poop and Cory's Lawn Service sent my Dad a formal complaint letter (which he read in the hospital). If they would have even made the effort to call I could have explaied the situation. I will be taking that complaint letter to their office to discuss in person.

First off, I just want to extend our sincerest apologies regarding your father. I realize that this is a very stressful and trying time for your family and I am truly sorry that our company has added extra stress to your already very stressful situation.
I would love to be able to address your concerns on a more personal level but do not want to add any extra burden on you. As I'm assuming the account is under your father's name, I am not able to pull up the account to see the notes from the crew or the approach from our office as well. I would love to investigate your concerns further, so when you have a moment if you could either call or text our office at (775) 686-0123 and ask to speak to me directly, I would love to be able to get this resolved for you.
I can say that we never want to make a big deal out of dog poop which is why we start with a friendly reminder via email just to put it on our customer's radar and not make a big deal out of it. We only start to escalate our communication when several previous reminders have gone unnoticed or not been responded to.
Again, I am truly sorry for the added stress we placed on your family during this difficult time. That was not our desire and we had no way of knowing about your father's health issues or anything like that. I know you mentioned wanting to stop by our office to discuss this in person and would ask that you please ask for me upon your arrival so that I can discuss this with you further.

My review was more than fair, and that refund was due. We subsequently found out that there was a break in the sprinkler line, in addition to needing new solenoids. If your company would have taken the time to make sure that the sprinklers were working the way they were supposed to be working, this wouldn't have been an issue. When you guys send a technician out to check to make sure things are working yet they still don't do that, and I don't feel like an update would be necessary as I have paid a lot more to have my yard finally fixed. It's utter and incompetence from your company's side that caused this. Not only was the sprinklers not fixed but then you sprayed fertilizer on a yard that got no water.

First off, I am truly sorry for the frustration we caused you and that we were not a good fit for you.
Secondly, I had hoped you would update your post after our numerous conversations over the phone as we worked together to make things right and to assure that all your concerns and frustrations were addressed. Unfortunately, that has not happened so I wanted to follow-up here as well.
Per your request, we applied a credit to your account in the amount of $380.57, which works out to be 50% of all services we completed for you and that we’re paid for. Your boyfriend has confirmed that that refund was posted back to his account and that everything was resolved to his satisfaction.
Again, I am sorry we were not a good fit and for the frustrations you felt. I know your main concern was with the irrigation system not covering your turf areas properly but per your request, we did not send the owner to correct any issues or concerns and instead refund half of your payments back to you as that is all you would allow us to do to make this right.

You too can take your weekend back...after your lawn dies using this company. I called multiple times to have somebody come look at the sprinklers. It looked like the front had spots that weren't getting water, and the back was spraying the house instead of lawn. They did come out and adjust the sprinklers but the front never got any better. After waiting a few weeks I called again. They said that they were going to have somebody look at the pictures to see if the lawn had fungus and come up with the plan of attack. They never called me back. When I finally called after a few weeks, they told me they looked at it but the lawn didn't look like they had fungus. I guess as a part of their services, not calling you back, and not fixing the issue is what you pay for. It was my understanding when they first did the first service, they took photos of the lawn and if there was an issue that they would report and or fix the issue. Instead we just got dead lawn.
I had told Lacy that I'm not understanding what we're paying for if this is the result. She told me that I wasn't in a contract and I can cancel at anytime, which I did, right then and there.
Go ahead and get your weekends back, but be ready to let everything die. In my opinion, you owe us money back for killing the lawn. We paid a lot to this company only to watch them screw up and not take any responsibility.
