Great service, went in early on Saturday. $145 for 4 qt honda transmission fluid drain and refill and $30 for tire rotation. Did not seem pushy for unnecessary services.

My new go to smog shop. Super quick, they honored their coupon without any kind of attempted shenanigans. The lead guy was very nice and seems very knowledgeable. May bring a car here for service next time :)
In and out in a little over 10 minutes and that was with me waiting for them to wrap up something else first.

Jesse and his brother are top notch. Service is always impeccable. I've brought numerous cars here, including those of family members and friends, and I trust them enough to assess used cars I'm considering purchasing too. Prices are reasonable and fair. I usually ask for a general update and status for additional services to see if anything else is needed but perhaps not relayed to me. I always find their feedback to be succinct and honest.

Called Cosmic Automotive to inquire about a smog check for my car (2015 Yaris), and was told it would be $50 for the check and $8 for the certificate. He also let me know I could do a walk-in whenever needed.
So on Thursday after a short day at work, I stopped by around 12:30pm. The guy was not super busy and was able to take my car in and finish the check before 1pm. Additionally, at that time they were doing a promotion where you can get a smog check for $39 if you check in on Yelp - so total was $39+$8=$47.

My car just went out of warranty, so I decided to take it to an auto repair shop. I chose Cosmic Automotive, and despite a few roadblocks they encountered, they went above and beyond to fix it. They returned the car within the promised timeframe. I'm really impressed with their service, expertise, and reasonable pricing.

As usual, Jesse and Manny took care of my oil change in no time! They also recognized I wasn't driving my typical car, I brought my husband's in because I trust them! Very reliable and quick oil changes! Since I moved up to the Bay area five years ago, they are my go-to honest mechanics.

Aug 10, 2018Previous reviewI was long overdue for an oil change, so I would check in with Jesse and every time I called, Jesse reassured me that I could walk in and I know why - they consistently finish oil changes in less than 15 minutes!
Also, my Nissan Sentra manual says to do synthetic oil changes or an alternative, but Jesse understands and always gives me the alternative since it's cheaper (but also only it's good for 3k miles versus 5k). I know I've had issues in the past with other auto shops, so I really appreciate that Jesse and his team listen and understand! I had an issue with my door not opening from the inside out but Jesse fixed it complimentary, so thank you!
Also, it's really nice that they remember you and try to catch up with you outside of car stuff, makes getting oil changes more fun! Definitely recommend them credibility and workmanship wise!Jan 29, 2018Previous reviewI moved up to the bay area a couple months ago, which also meant, I gotta find a reliable and honest oil change service because we all know how hard that is to find! Luckily, I saw a Groupon for Cosmic Automotive and even though the drive from Livermore is a little painful, I would do it to get an oil change from Jesse and his brother! I love how this is a family owned business that just started in May and how hard-working they are.
I've never experienced such a quick oil change in my life before! They close at 6pm and I had scheduled an appointment at 5pm. I was running late and Jesse actually told me to drive safe and that they would be there even if I'm running late. How professional and considerate of them. When I got there, Jesse and I chatted for 15 minutes and my car was ready. His brother noticed I had low tire pressure and added pressure before handing over my keys. I've gotten two oil changes from them and I will continue making my trek down there for my oil changes. 5 stars!
